At least the fans are treating the DCEU's ending with some dignity.
It's such a shame; Zach Snyder's Justice League deserved two more sequels with this style of End Credits. That movie reminded me so much of the best of DC Animation, with the writing, attention to detail and passion for the characters.

This just made me sad of how the DCEU really ended, especially for someone like Henry Cavill. The last we’ll probably see of his Superman is a post credits scene that’ll lead to absolutely no where, he deserved so much better

As crazy and messy of a ride it was all those years. I'm glad to have kept up with the franchise. I enjoyed most of the films, whether it was by Snyder or not. I can't wait to see what James Gunn has in store for his reboot.

Despite how you feel about the dceu it is a culmination of 10 years worth of effort from a lot of people, and even though the end product isn’t always desirable you can’t deny that there are people with passion that work on these.

@@DannsProductionsIt had alot of hit and misses. The biggest problem was the meddling of the WB executives rushing creative and interfering with the stories that the directors wanted to tell. Had Zack Snyder been given the reins fully, the DCEU would have been something special in time. Snyder and the talent wasn't the problem... the executives trying to compete with the MCU instead of allowing the creative team to do proper world building were what led the demise. Hopefully, WB won't make that mistake with James Gunn. I still think that they should have kept Cavill as Superman though.

The DCEU deserved way better than what it got. They had the potential to do something better, but sadly they didn't know how to take advantage of.
I would totally miss Henry Cavill's Superman and my favorite main villain from this universe was Michael Shannon's General Zod.
I also feel bad for some of the actors who make their entrance or appearance on the DCEU when everything was just a complete disaster and was coming to an end.
Like in the case of Sasha Calle's Supergirl. The timing was just not right for her introduction into a universe that was ending. I personally loved her Supergirl version.

Why would you want Ryan to be back as Green Lantern? He already expressed distaste about his role back in 2010. In fact, recently he stated that he would rather watch a 24 hour marathon of Paw Patrol than watch his garbage Green Lantern movie. Plus, Ryan is in a much better place with Deadpool and working in the MCU, so why would you want him to come back as Green Lantern?

RIP dude. I loved the Snyder Cut. Was a big fan of Afflecks Batman. Rewatched and found love for Henrys superman. And i honestly think they did the justice league justice (in the snyder cut). DCEU had a lot of potential which was unfortunately squandered by guys in suits. I really dont know what to expect of this DCU. Hopefully it at least gets a chance to get off the ground before WB does typical WB things

I finally watched the final installment of this DC timeline, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Such a shame that it's the last one for that particular DC universe. I kinda wanted to see more.
And this franchise ran for only 10 years.
Goodbye to the Justice League, the Shazam Family, the Suicide Squad, the Birds of Prey, the kingdom of Atlantis, and so many more that we've had many adventures with in the past 10 years of the DC Extended Universe. I will miss all you guys.

Even though I do look forward to the DCU, I will remember the DCEU fondly. Despite its imperfections, there was so much potential that seldom got the chance to realize itself. From meddling from the studio to divisive responses, we had something that was unique and fun, warts and all. It will be missed.
