The tributaries for Middle River is where ya want to explore. 2nd Gold Brook and 4th apparently. I just hike in there, I don’t pan … but from what I hear…
Nice guys ..... been there prospecting loved it and found gold ...it's been about 6 years since I've been there last after running into 3 large coyotes scouting me out 1 ahead of me(about 100 yds) when I stopped he stopped, did this several times got spoked and turned around to go back and noticed the other 2. Walked back through the water making lots of noise to my car. When I got back to Halifax went to mountain co-op equipment and bought Bear Bangers $ 30 or so .... wouldn't be in the woods without them, better than bear spray. Haven't been back to 2nd Brook since...maybe this summer
My folks live out Loch Lomond; there was a mine out towards the sterling back in the day that found traces of gold so you might actually find something there! I’ve actually long considered taking a gander in the tailings to see if anything might have been missed back when considering it wasn’t the main mineral mined there . Palladium, That's what you'll find . If you want gold, look up the oldest tin claim. when you find gold on a tin claim file a new claim for Tin. People will leave you alone.
It's all about the adventure and spending time outdoors, love that! Nice video man! Cheers from Lunenburg County NS.

2nd gold brook, good luck
Make sure you can run faster than your buddy. In case of bears lol
Avoid straight stretches, work the INSIDE BENDS of the river. If you do not pan properly you are wasting your time.
we're about to settle down at loch lommond, cape breton in spring 23... are you still searching in this area?

hey kids, the purple rock is what you're looking for. It's gold and aluminum and very easy to separate using silver techniques.
