On the wheel of wacky, there should be a “Wheel of Horses” option that takes you to another wheel with all of the horse options and each opponent (or only the 1, whichever is more balanced) gets a random unit with a horse.
When ben placed the banner guy I was hoping it would be a "stop and wait here" banner, which would have probably REALLY turned the tables (tom's giant would have walked up without support from tom's archers). Making your king charge into danger faster was kinda the wrong choice tho.
It was, but that free davinci tank without being able to direct aggro made it so rushing was his only option. There was no way to take out his ranged units, and Ben didn't know how the legacy units worked. Entertaining nonetheless.
@The Xenomorphian The only issue with this is that the "Stay still" effect is a buff that takes a few seconds to wear off, depending on when it was last applied. Enough time to get shot up. However if you do this and put cheerleaders on the tank... well. GG.
While that would work for Tom, Ben's main dps came from his giant attacking Tom's. If Ben stopped his from moving, Tom's ranged units would make easy pickings of it. Tom, however, stopping his giant would result in Ben's having to travel further, giving it more exposure to Tom's ranged before it reaches his giant to inflict damage. In either circumstance, Tom would win anyways. Ben's best bet was to use his reset to get some Da Vinci tanks to challenge Tom. Kind of surprised he didn't consider it, given how much Tom's was carrying, two/three of them for Ben would wipe Tom's giant out instantly, and the banner play actually becomes feasible for Ben to use.
@@AtomixKingg Part of the issue was Ben's tank focused the barrel boy in front of it (presumably being basically on top of it overrode the "always target giant" value in terms of priority for the AI). If ben had put his tank off to one side and possibly a little further back, I suspect this game would've gone *very* differently. Even more so if Ben had kept his tank and leader far back with a hold position banner.
Horse with Tom vs Toddy. See some cardio vs Chaos. I guess scribe Ben should be there too, totally not putting Toddy's units down and then having him explain the reasoning.
Between Ben gunning down a giant with a cohort of blowdarts and Tom using the Skaven tactic of just shooting your own units to hit your enemy, this has been the most Warhammer game yet
I think instead of the ‘move the line’ option being on the wheel, it should be place X number of units anywhere (or behind enemy lines, you could call it ‘surprise attack’). If you there isn’t an option to place units anywhere then you can just move the line place them and move it back to how it was originally. I believe this would make it more fun.
Ben messed up speed buffing the giant, as it resulted in him running into Tom's ranged units far quicker. Causing him to not move at all with a banner bearer would have all but assured victory. The abrams tank was also a poor choice for similar reasons. They should really reduce the ice giant's aggro radius/effect, it's pretty absurdly overpowered.
Fun Fact: the pikes from the legacy faction are completely op againts large Units. Legit, 6 of those can easily kill an Ice giant in a couple of seconds. just a tipp for next time
Man, I love the wheel of warriors. I like how the giants turned this match up into a boxing match. Still hoping for a Wheel of Warriors Yogscast Tournament. Hosted and commentated on by Tom and special guest Pyrion.
An idea about the move the line part of the wheel of losers, maybe the rule could be something like the enemies side still has to contain at least 1 enemy unit or another designated amount? Like 5 or something depending on how powerful you want it to be
Ben's master plan: the davici tank is dangerous, let put everything on the bottom half leaving the davici tank alone to hit the gigant right away. if only he had 3 mammoth that could had helped him. haha.
Pretty sure Tom chose where to put the mammoths. You can tell in all of these videos that Tom tries to get them to make the worst choices, kind of funny but also not very sportsmanlike
Honestly, the chariot and tank helped Tom cause it slowed down has giant - giving more time for Ben's to get shot without retaliation Also thank was trying to shoot the blunderbuss at the start of every round, and missed every time cause it would happen as the dude fell over from his own shot. The archers were just behind him.
I think the "move the line" thing would be fine if it was just a bit more restricted. Maybe one can move it only so the opponents commander is still in their zone?
I haven't watched this series in so long (UA-cam unsubbed me and only just recommended) and I'm so glad they still do the "Ben" "Tom" "Ben" "Tom" thing.
On one of the wheels, you can only have X of a random unit + a bonus 1000 or something points. For example you roll a halfling for your units, so you have 2000 (base) + 1000 (bonus) points worth of halflings (I think 60 halflings in this case)
I played this yesterday and recreated all the wheels with my roommate, and let me tell you. Da Vinci Tank kings on the Broken Bridge simulation map started with us having to rock-paper-scissors for the first king v king round and only got dumber/funnier from there.
I always assumed there was somewhat of a gentleman's agreement regarding moving the line regarding not making it completely impossible for the opponent to win, nice to know I was right haha
To keep things fair but add insanity, you should change "move the line" into "flip the line." That way it's still the same amount of deployment space, but the ability to deploy right next to your opponent's existing units will make everything crazier.
honestly this was super interesting, i really like the weird giant fight in the middle and having to play around the support i'd like to see more stuff like this (Even though the giant is perfect enough)
Petition For Tom To Bring Back Quiz Time - Day 284 Yey, another Sharky and Palp HORSE, and it was a fun one. Although oof, Ben got annihilated XD Loved how Ben's Tank just had it out for one guy at the starts XD Also too funny that they couldn't decide on a Move The Line and just gave up XD
Move the line really needs to be strictly defined with limitations to avoid the situation you encountered. Maybe limiting it to no further back than directly in front of the enemy champion, with any rotation permissable?
wait, so what Ben is saying here is that if i keep with my death guard army ill achieve something random when im an adult? or is it only Fantasy/Age of sigmar that works for....
I would love if the dying king win condition was just something on the Wheel of Whacky. It get's a bit boring like this, especially if the king is either some really weak or overpowered unit.
I think the banner bearer and the flag bearer should be usable all the time, whatever you get on the wheel. that way you can really get into the strategisms early. also, you should tell your subjects what they do in the beginning. just my thoughts
Ben got Move the Line which arguably could be the strongest and he threw it away? This is why he lost! lol He should have stacked a bunch of dudes right next to Tom's giant like snake archers or clams or something to deal lots of damage early on and then have a fighting chance! But regardless I love this series, SO fun to watch lol
On the wheel of wacky, there should be a “Wheel of Horses” option that takes you to another wheel with all of the horse options and each opponent (or only the 1, whichever is more balanced) gets a random unit with a horse.
we also need to see an option where the wheel of whacky just turns the entire army into hobbits
yes it should be called the wheel of wobbly
What about it just gives everyone everyone horse unit
Transform987
Everyone gets every horse? That’s insanity!
... I kind of like it
@@cboneperlstone9661 Exactly. It's perfect
Idea for the wheel of wacky: turn on one of the special options (wings, big heads, etc.)
it opens another wheel with all of the special options in it
Put the options on ANOTHER wheel
The Wheel of Debug
The people driving Ben’s tank should be fired immediately
They did get fired... upon
Ilya Holt nice
They did fire immediately every time
SwanyeEfC nice 2
I think it's because they're trying to go for Tom's bard which is that way but right in front of it
The AI always focusing the giant ruined Ben's wonderhorse strat ;(

The play here was probably the banner to freeze the giant in place instead

Ben's tank (edit: the one he HAS, not da vinci) and his giant both frozen at the back with other stuff in front?
Isn’t a frozen Tank also known as a “cheerleadered ballista”?
@@Dawnfeethers Frozen tank would have been an interesting idea too.
Oh my gods, I love the classic, _"BEN! ... .... ...-Tom!"_ intro. It just warms my heart every time.
Bam! Tom and Ben, you guys really are a dream combo. I like Tabs but your Grounded playthrough is my new Subnautica
Same, they are soooo good together.
Horse with Tom vs Toddy. See some cardio vs Chaos. I guess scribe Ben should be there too, totally not putting Toddy's units down and then having him explain the reasoning.
Going against the wheel was a big mistake, it will have its revenge.
Can we just appreciate that despite being crushed under a tank turret tom's priest kept healing the ice giant from underneath 9:58
Between Ben gunning down a giant with a cohort of blowdarts and Tom using the Skaven tactic of just shooting your own units to hit your enemy, this has been the most Warhammer game yet

I believe this would make it more fun.
Well what you can do is move the line all the way back, place units, then move it back to the original position
The da Vinci tank won that for Tom, giants such a big target
You should just rename move the line to "50% encroachment" which moves the line midway through the opponents deployment.
Or only allow rotating it around the center point
@@nathankurtz8045 i think there is already one for that. wasn't there like a randomised free spin style one?

I like how this channel has become a Tom and Ben Channel. Best bois EU

17:35 Nice to see that the fish from 4546-B have been employed by the Yogscast
It is hilarious to me that Ben immediately starts applying warhammer tactics to win
Would love to see a whole series of just Tom and Ben playing HORSE!
Tom's "bam" is just what I needed to hear today :)
Hearing Mike's voice from RLM was a treat.
Hey Tom, would you be able to make the different wheels of Warriors available for download so we can enjoy too?
It's from a website, so he could just link them in the description. No DL, tho
They're available on this reddit post: /r/Angory_Tom/comments/ffn14k/wheel_of_warriors_wheels/ or you can make your own on the site Wheel of Names
The two series that I return to re-watch;
*TABS HORSE* and *QUIZTIME*
They're very re-watchable.

Filip Gasic I remember in a recent video he told someone the wheelbarrow dragon was good 😂🤦♂️
The loser screens in this series make we want to play a Yogscast visual novel.
>Have you ever been inside a tank?

This is literally one of my favorite series!
I love Ben’s “YAYYYYY” it always makes me smile.
19:35 on the left there is a hobbit or something flying away
I paused the video to comment the timestamp as soon as I saw it lmaoo. The hobbit really wanted to be a valkyrie
Dream job come true
I think the "move the line" thing would be fine if it was just a bit more restricted. Maybe one can move it only so the opponents commander is still in their zone?
Giant wars always devolve into the most brutal chaos, I love it! And I love this wheel-based TABS, especially when it's a Tom & Ben match.
The tank was aiming at the blunderbuss, but he was too close. So, he kept overshooting
I love the way the ice giants way. Its like; "Were two wild and crazy Ice Giants.
Once again, amazing editing. It's the tiny bits (f.e. the horse guitar solo) which pushes this video to great heights.
Been waiting for this incredible duo to do a horse and now I'm unbelievably happy, love it lads
This was a fun video! I like it
Also, YAY! they chose NOT to move the line, today is a good day
I was kind of hoping Ben would just rotate it a full 180. Make it a chaotic battlefield.
Rosario Crimson yeah, that’s the in way I think that should be used, at least then they can’t pick exactly where it is and it’s still an equal split
I haven't watched this series in so long (UA-cam unsubbed me and only just recommended) and I'm so glad they still do the "Ben" "Tom" "Ben" "Tom" thing.
I love that the tank was shooting the bard every time.
We've all asked the removal of "move the line" Tom
Edit: Ah great to see you didn't do it
Next episode suggestion: "Wheel of Warriors is a totally balanced game-mode" feat. Spiff.
I love the Norse mythology reference of Thor killing giants 😂
When the giants turned black all I thought was "BRAINSSSSSSS"
Hats off to the editor, mainly for "Tom!" bits right near the start.

Tom always wins when he moves the line bar some crazy change.
Love the fun videos, thank you for your work Tom, Ben and Josh.
Tom is making Sharky doing Sports. He's making Ben a fit. ;P
The move the line with the king modality should allow you to move it, but keeping the entire body of the 'kings' on their own colour
We are finally getting the discussion around the line changing we deserve!!
I can't believe they both never figured out the tank was shooting at the blunderbuss everytime.
I think it was actually at the Bard, which draws agro
Always good times with Pen....is such good boy.
Fun fact in tabs red will always come out on top in matches between the same unit think I saw that in a tabs facts vid
Oh my god this is the funest stuff i have seen, it's so fun that im crying
A good way to keep move the line balance and consistent would be to always move the line back to where the opponents king is
This is just amazing! Love your content Tom
This is the best yogs-series.
I always assumed there was somewhat of a gentleman's agreement regarding moving the line regarding not making it completely impossible for the opponent to win, nice to know I was right haha
