GM's Oriental version of the T-Car platform was sold in the USA starting in 1976 as the Buick Opel by Isuzu and was renamed the Buick Opel which in1981 became the Isuzu branded I-Mark model
It’s a beautiful coupe, and so what if it’s dated? It’s a reliable car, and it offers diesel power and efficiency. Get rid of that stupid manual transmission and make sure it has air conditioning. It’s a different car than Chevrolet Chevette; the Chevette diesel didn’t offer air conditioning, which was ignorant. Ford did the same ignorant stuff on Escort, Tempo, and Ranger with their diesel engines. This engine is not about speed but fuel efficiency.

"Dude, you're on camera, I can sew you for this 35 years from now."
Opel by Isuzu. Now at your Buick dealers..
The 4dr models were very popular as taxis in Malaysia and the Philippines. They were unbreakable.
Three years later, the I-Mark would be all new, and attractively designed by Giugiaro
Los cuatro puertas me gustan amí , para llevar a la familia

Yes, it is. They did a lot of their testing there or on the 795 expressway before it opened.
