The first "Zero-G Roll" is not really a Zero-G Roll, it's more like a "very stretched" and aerial Corkscrew. The track doesn't twist around a straight Heartline like a normal Zero-G Roll.
OzIris is certainly not the most forcefull B&M Invert, but it has a well designed layout, combining a quite intense first part and more aerial elements at the end. During some excpetionnal conditions (like warm weather early in the season, when the coaster is equipped with nylon wheels, refered as winter wheels by the park), the coaster can become a good forcefull ride, with some serious G's.
it's still a zéro-G roll. coasterpedia.net/wiki/Zero-g_roll
Yeah its a zero g roll but its just stretched
This coaster reminds me a lot of Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa, same color scheme with similar layout.
Gary Meola, Jr. And similar themes
That's very true! :)
similar themes but not the layout
That’s exactly what I was thinking
Same when i clicked on the video i thought this was a mere image of montu
Parc Astérix is my home park !! And yeah... oziris is pretty amazing ! :3
Awesome, it really looks it! :)
Finally someone who says "Bolliger and Mabillard" the right way! :P
that's not the right way! its pronounced Bolee-shuuu and mabee-ard but tbh no one gets it right
Dom wpc Oooh actually I'm not 100% sure about the correct pronunciation but I still think it's better than the typical "ball-i-gur and maa-bi-lerd". :P
EDIT - Now I'm a little bit more sure the way it's said here is closer to the correct way; it's said almost the same way in this documentary:
ua-cam.com/video/urdWqcn45ok/v-deo.html
Just say B and M
I heard someone say bo-lee-jeer and ma-mee-ard
This ride is also glossy smooth for people thinking of riding
Honestly I'm getting some montu vibes from this ride...
That makes sense, there are several similarities! :)
Damn. I gotta go back to France
Your videos are very soothing to watch. Therapy for coaster enthusiasts. Excellent work as always sir. +1
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it, and my voice! :)
didn't even mention how low to the ground this thing gets, it looks like guests legs are dangling only a couple feet or so above the ground! crazy stuff!
iTs a dAngElINg cOaSTeR 🤪
Montu 2: Electric Boogaloo
Great job with the editing and presentation. I'm proud that you're covering my home park too!
Although OzIris can be underwhelming at times, I think the layout is brilliant with the steep drop and unusual inversion order compared to most B&M inverts. On a good run, the graceful floatyness of OzIris is really enjoyable! I would definitely love to see more of these "second-generation" inverteds.
Thanks man! OzIris looks pretty great to me honestly. It's unique, well themed, and an interesting ride. I definitely agree with you :)
One of the Best Rollercoasters in Europe! Rode it on Wednesday and the line was so short so I went on it 5 times😂Absolutely Amazing!!:)))
Awesome to hear! :)
_"Iris turns the riders into birds, allowing them to experience the sensation of flight"_
*but it's an invert, not a flying*
Use your imagination! ;)
Roller coasters don't have to be intense to be a great ride :) Oziris is a good example of that, and I mean, it's from B&M. I love a good B&M coaster
I agree! :)
Next one is goudurix on a video sponsored by aspirin
Hey... That's pretty good
I agree ;) I just realised I missed 207 off your name in the end credits. I have no idea how I did that, sorry
I'll let this one go. Next time you're screwed! ;)
rcmaster207 lol
That is funny when you said this time its ok ;) but next time your screwed.
Sorry boss!
Rode it again yesterday... man, it is a great coaster for sure ! Really really good looking, theme and backstory are on point, and it brings a lot of fun through the ride while having the unmatched B&M inverted smoothness. Front row is a must seat, at least once
The best investement the park made since Tonnerre de Zeus. Overall the park is great, and with future coaster (delayed 2022) it will offer a wide selection of coasters, from almost every major company (B&M, Vekoma, CCI, Mack, Gerstlauer, and next Intamin)
The park is looking better and better by the year honestly! As you said OzIris looks awesome! :)
@@coasterbot True. The park is growing the right way.
The only sad thing being it will never get an hyper/giga due to height restrictions (CDG airport too close) ;(
OzIris is weird but awesome. The first half is unusual for a B&M Invert but is very forceful. The second half is just plain weird.
I guessed right on twitter! 😎 Anyway, loved the video! Looks like a great ride! Very informative video and I love the backgroumd music!
Congrats for guessing correctly! I'm really glad you liked the video too :)
You hit the nail on the head with this one! Oziris is pretty forceless, but the unique elements and the charming Asterix theming make a, not outstanding, but enjoyable experience
Reminds me of montu (also, I don't have a local amusement or theme park😢)
I can see the resemblance :)
what's the closest you have? Mine is Hersheypark which if an hour away from me.
Scrambled 59 the closest theme park to me is an hour and a half away from me.
I have 3 home parks because my mom and dad are divorced so my mom has 2 home parks and my dad has a theme park 1 minute away so there is an upside to being a coaster enthusiast with divorced parents
The twelve tasks of asterix is my favourite Asterix story, and for me the real ending of the series, it ends on the best note possible and has the best characters and all the town joins at the end, is fantastic.
The Roman Government building is the best task and I loved how it was parodied in The Witcher 3 for one of the side missions. Would love to see more stuff about it at Parc Asterix.
I don't really know much about Asterix at all honestly. But it seems like a great series to base a park upon! :)
Haha true. My fav also it is so funny. Iris task is nice too.
For the record the Roman governement building is a parody of the french administration.
My home park has a unique B&M invert, banshee, the only one with a pretzel knot and it’s the longest inverted coaster
Ohioians Coasters my Home Park has Batman The Ride
Awesome! :)
Rode this coaster many many MANY times and it's soooo good. And smooth!
Good video and cheers from Switzerland
That's awesome to hear! A big thank you from the UK! :)
5th
I give this coaster a lot of attention because
1: This was my first B&M
2: This was my first invert
3: This is at my old home park
I still visit France once every few months (because I have school). I also guessed this was Kraken at Sea World Orlando on Twitter. Guess I was wrong.
That's awesome. And you were incorrect, but I'm glad you liked the actual result! :)
The color scheme looks the same as Kraken when it's blurred out. And Parc Asterix is a very interesting park in my opinion. However, one of my least favorite coasters is there (Goudrix). Goudrix makes it feels like needles are in your head.
Hey it’s Montus little brother
Montu’s cousin basically
Yeah, multiple new rides have been opened recently like Steel Vengeance or Wicker Man or Icon but let’s talk about that one inverted coaster in that one French park.
Just kidding man, this is great video and a great topic as you aren’t riding off the new ride hype train!
I'm waiting to get back to Alton Towers to record a somewhat more special 'What is' Wicker Man video. Steel Vengeance is relatively new, and I'm waiting a little bit to let others collect some more footage of it. Finally, Icon has opened yet, but I'll be making a video on it when it does!
Thank you regardless. :)
Very crisp editing, Harry.
Thank you :)
just like crispy chocolate digestives!
Good video thumbs up 👍
Thank you! :)
I'm glad you did a video on this ride, it seems underrated to me
I agree :)
Montu is still better
Well, my home park already has Black Mamba. 😍
Taron mine has nemesis
Best inverted coaster in Europe imo, I love it so much
Mini Montu lol...also throw an invert this size at holiday world. They need it, and I love the style of inverts so having one at my home park would rock.
Zilla honest and Liam de wok are some hot Doritos but Apollo is always the elite one
Speaking of that, here is a video I just made that has to do with it
ua-cam.com/video/-F1Aa7HXcxM/v-deo.html
epic hamood h
This really seems like one of the best Inverts.
I have done quite a lot of coaster and this coaster is still my favourite I love the underneath the track feeling this first drop back row is amazing and I love the theming and the underground parts or even after the first drop it feels like your legs are gonna hit the ground !! This is the only coaster which I have ridden on which I do find any part of the ride which are useless... this is a non stop 54 seconds and it’s not really intense for sure but it is so smooth !! The top drops into the water and before the second 0 g roll are awesome as much as the first one particularly the second one providing a good thrill of dropping down to the floor once again and those zero g rolls are fast but they feel so slow like if time was slow down and I couldnt get enough of this feeling of flying !! Well I think you guessed it I love this ride so bad !! Sadely, except this one and the tonnerre de zeus, the Astérix park don’t offers as good rides as this one or even park as Port Aventura or Europa park but it’s still an awesome park in its kind and it’s developing really good those last years hope that’ll continue and that we will see even better rides coming there to beat this one !!
what is: a montu clone
just kidding i know they have different layouts, but the theming and color scheme are very similar
I've been waiting for this episode since the European Coaster Trip livestream!
Sorry, but thé coaster has a maximum High of 40,5 meters... i am really confused ! 😂🤣
My home park is Hersheypark so RMC Wild Cat!!! And it will be themed to two cats fighting, and how a bigger and badder cat takes over.
Nice music. I love the whole video!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
COASTER BOT Np. You are probably the nicest youtuber
I'm sure there's many more UA-camrs own there kinder than I am. But thank you nonetheless :)
Its about time B&M switching it up with their inverted coasters. Same formula everywhere is kinda boring
My third favorite invert just below Montu and Banshee, it’s fun how two of the best inverts are Egyptian Mythology themed
This ride is absolutely mental. Full if g-force inversions and airtime as well as the theming... Also who is that idiot who said this was boring and forceless???
I think someone at the park went to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay...this ride looks so similar to Montu!
I'm the one who don't like it and prefer intamin and vekoma coasters xD
please do what is the loch ness monster.
I'll note it down, thanks for the suggestion :)
My favourite inverted
Awesome to hear :)
It looks like a good B&M invert
Definitely! :)
Another Egyptian invert? Btw im talking about montu
Well Canada's Wonderland is getting a dive coaster so basically yeah
when you think that invert s Montu but then realize its some invert over seas.....
I’ve only ridden two B&M inverts Silver Bullet and Batman the ride so I’ve basically ridden the majority of these rides
There's many more, custom layout, inverted coasters out there! :)
I went there once. Managed to NOT FIND THAT ENTIRE SECTION OF PARK. Somehow.
That's unfortunate. Are you sure you didn't visit before this section had opened?
In my local park we got a unice ride baron 1898
What is Katun - Mirabalandia and ISpeed - Mirabalandia
I've noted those suggestions down, thank you :)
Have you been to Mira yet, Harry?
Leonardo Bruzzone I don't think so. He has been to Gardaland in Italy
As Milani said, not yet, but I do hope to eventually :)
Where did you find the facts minus height?
What is T Express(Intamin)
and
What is Atlantis(Intamin Aquatrex)
or the similar one What is Phaethon
I'll note that down, thanks for the suggestion :)
I'm surprised Busch Gardens didn't sue
That near miss zero g roll at the end (I dunno what Its called) is so scary
I like to consider this ride to be Montu’s little brother.
Congratulations with your 20k subs! You absolutely deserve it!
Thank you, it really means a lot! :)
This ride is not the less intense, it is just the smoothest of all the B&M inverted I ever tried :3
this, along with Inferno, are both far too over-hated in the community, both are quality inverts
This is over-hated, inferno deserves it ;) ;) ;)
Who’s else thought this was Montu’s footage
Hi did you know that on friday 2 days ago the disney worod dragon in the fantancy parade it cought on fire search up dragon cought on fire at walt disney world
I saw, it's not good to see at all!
the most boring invert ive ridden
Only B&M inverted that has two zero g rolls. Chinese Fireball from dragon challenge was the only B&M inverted without a zero g roll
Those are two very interesting facts, thank you :)
What is: Goudurix- parc Astérix. it has the first butterfly inversion (i Think)
I'll add that to my list, thanks for the suggestion :)
It seems like OzIris kind of inspired Banshee at Kings Island. The drop without the pre-drop, the dive loop as the first inversion (OzIris had the first dive loop on a B&M inverted coaster fun fact), and the transitions are a bit more drawn out than many of the older ones, as it seems to have the same grace as Banshee.
Interesting analysis :)
Do you think that a large-scale investment could be added to your home park? If so, what would it be?
Alton Towers, my home park, just got Wicker Man, so not likely! :)
I'm pretty sure it goes to 40 meters, not 35 :/
My local park has the original invert, but I would love to see them invest in a new immersive experience like Batman: The Ride was
In a way, I feel like roller coaster are trending towards becoming more theatrical and story focused. I do hope his is he case, and I do hope Six Flags Great America get another fantastic and immersive addition :)
I remember going here and riding this before i became an enthusiast, we went on a school trip to Paris in year 8 and went to this park. Would definitely recommend this park when i went back then.
Awesome! :)
wth, oziris is one of the most intense coasters ive been on?

I come frome france, and i ride all the week end this coaster and i very like this one, the theming, the layout all is very good but it is short and is situation is at 10 m off a big road. Aller sur ce bisous de france les abonnés de coaster bot et coaster bot
That's awesome to hear! It does seem like an awesome coaster. Thanks for the love! ;)
I was very disappointed with this coaster, as I’d heard a lot about it, but it just carried no force at all. In terms of coaster, it’s my least favourite B&M, but in terms of experience, the theming is amazing, don’t get me wrong! I don’t hate this coaster, I just was a little disappointed- im a big fan of B&M coasters, don’t get me wrong!
That's unfortunately. It seems that the ride is more about theming than intensity though. :)
COASTER BOT yup, agreed! Nice video !
What is: Dank Memes
When was it built?
OZOIRIS SEWNDS LOIKE A VOIRUS
Looks alot like montu from busch gardens! Its so pretty
It is a very pretty coaster!
It looks like Montu
I might go to Parc asterix next year. I want to ride Oziris and i love the theming in the area! (also in the hole park)
The park does look great!
You still haven't done Superman the ride. Do It!!!
Which Superman The ride? ;)
COASTER BOT SFNE
Hey Coaster Bot I have a quiestion, witch inverted roller coaster has the steepest drop?
I'm not too sure I'm afraid, sorry!
An over hated invert. Really enjoy this ride and is fantastically themed
It looks it to be honest :)
I rode it this weekend and LOVED it
Is it worth it to travel to this park if u live in Luxembourg??
Honestly it looks like a great park! I'd have a look online for some more reviews though :)
#roadto20000
We are getting really close! :)
No mention of the small hidden 'element' right after the vertical loop?
What's the hidden element? I didn't know! :)
Could you do: what was ring racer?
I'll note that suggestion down, thank you :)
FINALLY
Looks similar to Montu in Busch Gardens
It does, they seem to have similar themes :)
DAMNIT!
which park is better parc asterix or disneyland paris?
Both are very very different. Disneyland has more theming, while Parc Asterix has more thrill rides! :)
Harry could you do a What is Wickerman please
I do hope to in the future, so stay tuned! :)
I have ridden this it’s the best invert I had experienced
That's awesome to hear! :)
