Thank you Trevor. After years of practice, there's ALWAYS something new to learn. You reminded me to use large brushes and swathes of mixed colour to suggest foreground grasses.
Thanks Barbara for your comments... I'm always learning , each time I paint ! Keep watching and leave me a message now and then so I can improve my channel. T
Blow and spit! Missed No.1, so have to do a search for it. This No.2 is another of Trevor's 'Rapid Fire' watercolours, which are always so great to watch. Thank you Trevor.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to upload this project Trevor. It may be a relatively simple scene but is covers quite a lot techniques in watercolour and I am looking forward to giving it a go soon.
Adding the China white enhanced the contrast a lot. I love your loose and speedy way of movement. Thank you so much. Looking forward to your next lesson.
Superb two part watercolour demonstration as always Trevor and beautiful music. Lovely fresh, colourful washes and great helpful commentary. More of this type of video please Trevor. Many thanks for sharing your great talent.
Thank You so much for your clear instructions while you were painting. I get more out of Demos as you explain as you go along! I enjoyed your relaxed presentation!!!!
What a treat that you did this little series, amazing, thank you. I’ve always admired your work and so thankful for a vast amount of tips. Much appreciated to watch you work.
Making the cows pop requires good technique and a lot of exercise. Couldn’t not say this. I do think this is outstanding and yes we do learn a lot from you, Sir. Thank you. (Waiting for your book now so I’ll be a winner!]
Have been painting landscapes for a long time but this free and fresh approach by this highly skilled artist has given me inspiration for future paintings. Thank you Trevor. Michael Christopher.
Your tutorials are always inspiring, I have only just found you on UA-cam, I have several of your books, however the dynamics of UA-cam really helps to get me going.
You have the knack of making difficult paintings look easy and enjoyable. I painted a workshop with you some time ago at the saa (Camel train) nothing could be more difficult than that but it was great. These basic lessons are brilliant please keep them coming
I loved this, thank you for a great demo, Trevor. Much appreciated for the quality and the lucid explanations of what you are doing. The background music was just right too :) Hope to practice this one out at the weekend.
Like the paintings you paint, carefully, pay attention to, full of charm, like the feeling of running the pen when you draw the cow, and the tone of your narration, I subscribed to your channel, and encouraged my painters to pay attention to your channel, followed by The painter went on a trip, we worked hard together
Excellent! More, please! It is so very helpful to follow along with the process and have you explain how and why you are doing what you do. Home recovering now, I'm in the studio each day and painting, so this video is timely. Thanks.
Hey Mike ! There will be more soon ... So pleased you're better and recovering and fired up with painting. I will put a little something in the next vid ... just for You ! T
Hi Trevor, thank you so much for this video and for the previous part on painting the sky, I really enjoyed them and find them invaluable. A question about your beautifully pointed small sable polishers mop: where can I get one? Keep inspiring us and stay safe. Best wishes Pam
Good morning, Trevor, from Alabama USA! I would love to know the name of the brushes you use. I am very drawn to your style of painting. As I am a beginner, I am trying to learn as much as I can from artists like you. I've had no schooling in art but I do the best I can and am having fun with it! Thank you for the time you are taking to make these wonderful videos! I look forward to more!! Suzanne
I use several brushes here ...Large Hake , No. 14 Sable round , Squirrel mop, 1/2 inch flat synthetic , and large oval wash brush.I know this is UK supplier but they are the best in my estimation Thanks Suzanne ... link : www.jacksonsart.com/jackson-s-pure-squirrel-mops-series-828?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=9f396fe44e7c05c16873b05ec425cbad

Hello, I was surprised that you were able (not being sarcastic or anything) to maintain color harmony sense you used so many colors. I suppose t need to work on choosing the warm colors verses the cool and to learn to use more warm in the foreground and less green; although I like the color a lot
Thank you Trevor. After years of practice, there's ALWAYS something new to learn. You reminded me to use large brushes and swathes of mixed colour to suggest foreground grasses.

My advice : Yes...use less green and stretch the warm and cool colours on your palette between the distance and the foreground. T
