Lifetime Tacoma (Seattle) resident. Glad you chose to still come visit, and support our city amidst all the past few years' dramas here. Safe travels! You are adorable! Can't wait to watch the next one.
I can honestly say that Seattle has incredible delicious and the most variety of cultural food. I live 45 min away and because of the food I travel down there a lot. Anything from Hawaiian, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, soul food, just soo soo much. All the fancy coffee shops, homemade ice creams, seafood ❤ I’m so excited that more and more variety of places are opening up next to us slowly. Yes it’s cold here, during the summers it’s gorgeous weather for us.
While you're in Vancouver, make sure to hit up Crystal Mall and try the beef noodle soup from the restaurant straight after you go up the escalators (Yun Nan Rice Noodle).
Woo-hoo, so excited for you! Have been to both Seattle and Vancouver and really enjoyed it. Remember to visit Tillicum Vlillage, if you have time. I give you credit for traveling so light! I have done hand-carry only (40 liter backpack) to Japan and other international places, but never in winter! Warm clothing takes up so much more room! Looking forward to all your adventures....thanks for taking us along with you. And hugs to Lucy back home. 😊
🤣 I had tears giggling when you say need a scarf 40-50 degrees. 😂 My uncle just came from Boston and told me it was warm there at 32 degrees! That’s the freezing point!!
@@AmandaFelixEats LA can’t handle 32 degrees too. Actually the coldest I have ever had to deal with is 9 degrees. I couldn’t. I might be able to deal with 19 not single digit.
Love Seattle, been many times Do a Free Walking tour to learn more about Seattle, goggle Free Walking Tour Seattle, just need tip, it's worth it. Must do, Wing Luke Museum in Chinatown.
@Amanda & Felix Eats mine is called "The Travel of Hard Knocks." The things I saw on UA-cam didn't tell the whole story. I know why people only post the good stuff. Crap happens all the time. But im better for it. Just getting my feet wet. 3 months in, and it's about time to go back and regroup. Also I am not a backpacker. NO NO NO. 😳🤣😂🤪
Lived here for 24yrs and you wouldn't catch us going down there. So glad you were brave enough. They must have pushed the drug addicts in another area of the city so the travelers still have a place to come and spend money. 😁
Never been to Vancouver, BC b4 but must try Tai Tung Restaurant (Bruce Lee's fave), Kona Kitchen(owned by Yuji Okumoto/Karate Kid 2) & Kauai Family Kitchen(owners Kaua'i transplants)...
You haven't heard? Seattle is now a land of lawlessness and drugs. Once an absolutely beautiful city has been ruined by local politicians and is now the shame of the Northwest. The same with Portland. It should tell you something that people are moving away in droves for Texas and the like. Save your money (and possibly your life) and go elsewhere
Wow, this looks like fun! Really digging the awesome new content, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this trip. Hope you guys are having a blast!
Haven't been to Seattle in a while, but what a weather shock! So glad you got to travel. Hope you had a great time. That mirror door just makes so much sense
The downtown is sketchy as heck! I visited Saddle after the visuals, and I was surprised how dilapidated and outdated the city is. MTV is what I was thinking, it seems blasé now. It's okay. Y'all should'a checked out Portland! I never went all the way, I live in Washington-State and I don't drive. Hope you had fun! 😊
Me and my daughter when to Seattle in April to see the cherry blossoms at UW campus and to sight see. Wow... it was crazy. The amount of druggies and homeless was absolutely sad (and scary). We stayed downtown settle at the Sharaton Grand and wouldn't go out after sunset.
Welcome to the PNW! New sub here and binging your videos. I can’t wait to see your take on the local eats here. I hope you guys get a chance to check out Oriental Mart, Musang, Communion, Archipelago, and Reckless (in my hood) here in Seattle.
This is absolutely stunning and so enjoyable to watch this. As I had a chance to live in Seattle for a year, I remember how beautiful to walk through the city, no matter the hour of the day. Thank you for bringing so many great memories and sending you best wishes.
Seattle has very humid air during the winter; cold penetrates. I've been in the Midwest where the temperature was colder but because the Midwest has dry winter air it didn't feel as cold.
Aloha 🌺 guys , so glad you made it to Seattle safely , I’m sure it was a culture shock , especially the weather lol , I’m so used to it now , I know flying is very stressful , but now you get to try all the good foods 👍❤
Only go in August next time kiddos. It is a very beautiful part of the world. I lived north of Seattle on Whidbey and Fidalgo islands as well as adjacent to the BC border. It is always cold despite a few back to back of real hot days no matter what anyone else says. Hope you made it to the food court at Uwajimaya, the big Japanese store in nearby the International District. Every Asian style food vendor is outstanding and affordable. It is one of the few places it is common to watch hungry folks sharing dishes. It is a happy making foodie adventure Bakery too!
Look at you guys, all bundled up. You guys are doing it all wrong...in winter you go to warm places.😁 When in Vancouver if you want an Asia experience go to Richmond. It's a short monorail ride from d/t Vancouver. It's walkable, but not if 40° bothers you...🥶 Before any foodie trip you always weigh yourself first...if you don't gain, it wasn't a food trip.🤣 Trip enjoyment is directly proportional to the weight gained!
Ayyyyy you came!! I hope you had a great time! My wife and I love the dining in the PNW. We are taking the kids back to Oahu in July so I’ve started rewatching episodes and writing down names to try while we’re there.
My hometown! Glad you're enjoying it. I used to work in Pike Place Market so you're right next to my stomping grounds. Hopefully you guys are able to check out Din Tai Fung while you are there since their dumplings are the bomb.
I am from Hawaii also and just did a Seattle trip and we love Washington. Another touristy place you gotta visit is the Ballard Lochs. And Woodinville where alot of wineries are. Keep up the great work!🤙🏽
40 degrees isn't cold. 😂 Anyway, you would have really loved downtown Seattle pre covid and the George Floyd riots. It was an awesome place. Now it's a ghost town now. Many restaurants and retail stores have closed. Very sad but glad you liked what you saw. I live in honolulu and Seattle. Can't wait to get back to the island
So happy to have you here in Seattle!! We watch your videos and just visited Oahu last summer for our own foodie adventure for my birthday. Your videos came in so handy! Love watching your food adventures! Definitely recommend Katsu Burger, Din Tai Fung, Dough Zone, and the International Food District. Uwajimaya Asian market is always awesome. Enjoy your visit!
Cool that you got to see Seattle sorta clean. I am watching this getting ready to fly out of Seattle to Honolulu.... enjoy the stay if you can go to Tat's sandwich shop on Yesler in Poineer Square
So nice to see you guys again. At some point, would you be able to show us how you were able to pack 2 weeks of travel in a small carry on. I need help on how to travel efficiently.
Super-Stoked both of you are getting to experience the Seattle action! Two pro-tips for the area: Don't use umbrella. Pike Place Market...not Pike's Place Market. To be fair...Pike's Place is the natural thing to want to say but...well...we different here. LOL
Headed to Seattle via Amtrak from LAX. Going to be ❄️cold 20's. Hope to follow in your foodie adventures in the Pacific Northwest except our trip end in Las Vegas 🤙🤙

Then a guy from Alaska showed up in shorts shirt n sandals saying it's a heat wave. Perspective is everything. Can't wait for your next vlog.
We just went to Seattle at the last week of December into ny. Came home and spontaneously looked airfare for HI for the kids' upcoming springbreak. It was decent prices so we booked our soon to be first trip ever to HI. That's when I discovered yall's channel while researching eateries in Oahu.
You guys probably planned what you are going to do. So much seafood, Asian food and tours, especially the Downtown Seattle underground tour and tbe Duck Tour. My sister lives in Kent south of the airport.
Oh! Go get butter from Safeway and King Crab Legs from Pike Place Market. Then have your feast at the hotel! Vancouver seafood is Bomb, too. You guys must be freezing!

We want to one day!
You both look so different. Sweatshirts and scarves. Your friends from Hawaii won’t recognize you! Have a good time. Safe travels.
Mahalo!
Waterfront is alright, stay away from downtown for your own safety, come chill at east side instead, Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah is where it’s at.
#1 Show us the way, guys!!! 🤙🏾
