What a wonderful gift from her and lots of fun creating for you! Love the packaging you created ! Good things always come in small packages! Thanks for sharing! :) Jill
Christina, you always have the best ideas - even if they're not your own "original" ideas, you're always inspiring me with new projects. Any day you post a video is a good day for me! I enjoy watching at night before I go to bed; I find your voice so relaxing.
OMGoodness! I literally just finished trying to squeeze your oversized pocket letter into two envelopes that I went out and purchased this morning and did not even think that I JUST got the We Are Memory Keepers envelope maker until I saw this. Thank goodness for this so now I can nicely package your pocket letter. I will be sending it tomorrow. Not sure how long international will take but they will telll me at the post office. Off to watch the rest of this video so I can go make your envelope! TFS, Lisa
Your PL envelope/bag is fabulous! Definitely going to try this! Love the samples at the end too! I'll be back to watch this again so I can make mine along with you! TFS!
If there are angels in heaven and they speak soothingly to people, then they will speak using your voice. Lol, but no I'm serious, your voice is soo relaxing I could listen to it all day. I love the envelopes you created also. Subscribed.
What a great way to use up the papers in a paper stack that have designs that are too large for pocket letters or cards, or paper you're not particularly fond of for using in projects. This is a beautiful presentation!
Hi Christina, Fabulous pocket letter and I Love the envelope! I do so appreciate the tutorial as well! TFS and Take Care My Friend... Big Hugs, Sue Ann 👍😉💕💜
Wow! I love everything about this pocket letter, totally adorable. I really like the lace on the sides. I love the coffee pocket letter too. I love winging it, too. My ATG gun always skips and lumps up. Haha! thats totally me, Meh...I know there's a better way, but I don't really feel like it, I would just be there all day. Love the finished look of the envelope. ;)
Oh my gosh Christina, I love how you made a bag for PL's. I have made envelopes similar to this bag but it does require cutting and scoring. I am going to start using your method cuz I love it. I also love the concept Nery used for her PL, you did a beautiful job decorating it. TFS
Absolutely lovely! :) I'm going to give these envelopes a try, very creative! I also wing it when creating unless it's something that needs to be specific! I have tons of 12 X 12 paper. TFS
Hi Christina! I luv this idea! Next time I do a PL, I am going to make an envelope! Cute PL you made with Nery's kit! She is so clever to think of that idea too! How fun is that! Hope you are having a wonderful long weekend! Cheers! xo
Hi Rhonda! How are you?? Mark and I had a fun and lazy weekend! LOL Went to see Jason Bourne tonight, LOVED IT!!! Hope all is well with you and the family... happy summertime! ♥
Great idea sending a PL kit to another crafter💌 I also make packages for my PLs, minis or flipbooks. I use the scoring board from Martha S., the center (cero) guide helps a lot. Thanks for sharing the process 💕💕💕 Rosa V.
Hi Connie, thanks for your comment! I joined a group on Facebook, its called Pocket Letter Pals. Here's the link: facebook.com/groups/pocketletterpals/
Christina Hi!!!!!! Please may I ask the name of your super cute girl stamp shown at 2:00 in your video and if you can remember, where could I purchase her? She is adorable and could be used in so many ways! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Jodie, the stamp set is called 'Capture a Moment' by Little Blue Button Stamps. I'm pretty sure I purchase the stamp set at ccdesignsrubberstamps.com Not sure if they still carry it. But search for the stamp set on google and see if you can find it that way... tfw! xo
Good evening Christina, I just subscribed to your channel. These Pocket Letters are new to me. Yesterday was the first time hearing of them. I make Junk Journals and in a tutorial I was watching they said Pocket Letters. Which then led me to your channel. I would like to know how to get started. I don't know anyone that does these. Would you mind helping me. Thank you
Thanks for stopping by and watching my video! All you need to do is google pocket letters or go to Pinterest and you'll see a ton of Pocket Letters to get ideas. You could also join Pocket Letter Pals on Facebook and once your accepted you can make a post that you are new and would like to swap. Janet Lane has a blog and talks alot about PL's :)
Hi Erika, the PL envelope doesn't go in the mail as is. This is just pretty wrapping for the pocket letter. You would still have to put it in a mailing envelope. :)
Hi Christina! I was hoping you could give me advice on the best die cutter that would cost about $100 so if I had a $40-60% off coupon then I could get one for like $50-$60. Any suggestions you might have would be great! I do hope to hear from you soon! I hope all is well on end. Take care, Lisa
Hi Lisa! I'm good, pretty busy with my Spa these days. The Big Shot or Big Kick, and you can use your coupon at Micheals or JoAnns or Hobby Lobby... xoxo
+Christina Betts I found the We Are Memory Keepers on at Tuesday Morning for 39.99 and asked the manager if she would give me time to make sure it works the way I need it to and she gave me 30 days. Tomorrow is my last day off so I'll get to play with it then! Woo goo! I'm advancing in the world of crafting! So excited. I have to go watch my grandson now. Take care, Lisa
Hi Christina... I am going to link this video in an old video of mine making an envelope for pocket letters as yours is a different orientation than mine and I think others may like to see how someone else has made one. I hope this is OK.
I'm a little afraid the tag would be separated from the package in transit. I mean it's pretty enough to be sold in a Hallmark store but I would use clear shipping tape for the address label. Didn't something you sent or received before get mangled in the mail and the post office put it in plastic to try to save it? Maybe it wasn't you but this is so darn precious I would hate for the recipient to not receive it and worse if the tag is lost it won't even be returned to you - or is this befor we put it in a mailing envelope and to be used instead of tissue paper. If so I am an idiot I just didn't want your wonderful idea to ever be ruined. I mean this is such a great idea you might want to connect with Janette Lane at www.pocketletterpals.com and see if she'd brand it with you as the licensee? 10 years in Intellectual Property law before my now laid back job. . . LOL
Hi Lisa, the PL envelope doesn't go in the mail as is. This is just a wrapping for the pocket letter. You would still have to put it in a mailing envelope. :)
+Christina Betts As I was writing it I started to get it. You do such beautiful work Christine! How do you balance it all? Work, family , housework, family and find time for hobbies? I just can't get an even balance something is always lacking in Lisa land. Just when I'm so close to being happy. I swear I want to schedule send you my to dos and beg you to fix my schedule. LOL anyway, I do hope you like your pocket letter. I'm still relatively new to this type of crafting. Take care, Lisa
Hey Lisa! Happy Sunday! First off hubby and I have been empty nesters for 10 years now. So no more cooking and cleaning for a family of five. I have gone from a 5 day work week to 4, and housework... well housework never ends! I do it daily though... I never let it go for days otherwise it gets overwhelming. Evenings are all mine... from 6:30 to about 11:00 pm I putter around the house, I'm out in the yard, in my craftroom, etc... xoxoxoxo I know I will LOVE your PL!
+Christina Betts ~Thanks for replying. It was just me and the cat until my 27 year old son came home for the summer. The house was easily maintained when it was just me. Also I guess once I get more used making pocket letters it won't take me so much time to complete...?Anyway I will talk to you soon! Lisa
OOPS! I feel awful. I clicked like, but I guess I had already clicked it, so it came up as unlike! I am so sorry because this is a great tutorial and I LOVE it! So sorry!!!
What a wonderful gift from her and lots of fun creating for you! Love the packaging you created ! Good things always come in small packages! Thanks for sharing! :) Jill

Hi Erika, the PL envelope doesn't go in the mail as is. This is just pretty wrapping for the pocket letter. You would still have to put it in a mailing envelope. :)
+Christina Betts got it lol 😊
What kind of tape did you use on this project?
I used ATG tape.
What did you use to smooth down the edges?
I used a bone folder tool, you can find these at most craft stores. 😊
What happens if your not on facebook, love to make pocket letters but need some friends to send them to, sigh. Love all your video's etc.
go to Pocketletters.com, which is Jeanette Lane's swapping site. You'll need to make an account first though.
thank you @Jessica Eiss ♥

yes I sent it out last week, mid week I think... should maybe be there this week or next, it was holiday weekend so might take a little longer...
