He leido algunos comentarios puristas que Beethoven no debe tocarse asi… dadnos suspiro, hombre! la diversidad de interpretaciones es buena y a mi me gusta esta particularmente

I love his touch of extreme clarity and elegance, yet I feel he is in a wonderful world when he plays.

i was blessed to listen to his recital in St.Paul, MN of Goldberg recently. He got the talent to embody his uniqueness into every pieces he plays.

I saw an article about how this pianist wanted to make mozart more 'contemporary'. I'll admit I pish-poshed at that but came over to you tube anyway to find some of his renditions. 1 hour later down the rabbit hole and I've now subscribed to his channel and may or may not have a little crush on him. 💖

This is one of the greatest Beethoven 3s I have heard in my 70 years of listening.

Would you care to elaborate? I found this to be a clean, nice performance, but sort of sedated and incomparable to the great versions we all know (just to say one: ua-cam.com/video/Sla6FbWH4OQ/v-deo.html).

This is what I call MUSIC, Iceland Symphony Orchestra + Vikingur Olafsson!!!!!! What a beautiful performance, perfect, romantic and technically perfect. If Beethoven could hear this one he would be all smiles......

Not sure if it's the playback or the actual concert, but there is threshing of volume like someone was turning volume knob up and down.

Does exist an official recording of this at a higher sound quality?

You play Beethoven like Bach. Who should feel worse?

Even the orchestra is tired at the beginning. No vigor, no sense of heroism. Beethoven isn't Mozart or Haydn, we need a more daring interpretation.

What does that even mean; orchestra tired and no sense of heroism? So, is the orchestra not tired in the ending? Does one start an exercise tired and by continuing to exercise get less tired? Just what would a sense of heroism sound like? Would more daring interpretations make Beethoven a Mozart or a Hayden? Hmm.
