As a kid I saw the 1970's film "Song of Norway". This concert started the film with fantastic scenery from Norway. A fan ever since...
    Beautiful performance here, thank you!

Translation of the video description from source (Text about Ravel and performers not shown in this video ommitted):
Víkingur Ólafsson and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra play Ravel and Grieg
    Bremen Music Festival 2022
Víkingur Ólafsson's concert with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in the main hall of the "Glocke" was the highlight of the "Große Nachtmusik", the opening evening of the 33rd Musikfest Bremen.
With works by Ravel and Grieg, one of Europe's top orchestras performed two masterpieces full of resounding passion and gripping virtuosity together with the most interesting piano soloist of the younger generation.
The Piano Concerto in A minor is Edvard Grieg's only completed concerto. The Norwegian composer was inspired to write it when he heard Clara Schumann play her husband's Concerto in A minor. Grieg also incorporated elements of the traditional music of his homeland into the romantic sonority and virtuosity of the piece, such as the Norwegian jumping dance Halling in the first and third movements.
Icelandic pianist Víkingur Ólafsson impresses his audience with his passionate musicality, explosive virtuosity and intellectual curiosity. He shines with Bach as well as with the great classical soloist repertoire - and is also emphatically committed to new music.
Recording from August 20, 2022 at the Musikfest Bremen 2022.
    Director: Felix Breisach
    Production: Kinescope Film
    Producer: Matthias Greving
    Composer: Maurice Ravel, Edvard Grieg
    Fortepiano: Víkingur Ólafsson
    Conductor: Edward Gardner
    Orchestra: Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra
    Country: Germany
    Year: 2022

He's amazing but why no mention of: The Orchestra, the conductor, when and where this took place. Come on-really? Can't be that difficult to provide this most basic information. BRAVO as always to Olafsson.

Seriously disagree about Tchaikovsky PC1 and VC, but generally yes. (And, God knows, not Tchaikovsky 6 scherzo!)
