Dislike because you can 100% bring up the option for Micro SD. Expandable storage still is on a lot of Android devices.
Expandable and swappable storage will always be relevant because of ever growing file sizes that will never stop getting bigger. Camera resolution will only get higher, video resolution will only get higher, game sizes and app sizes will only get higher so you are very correct that it is very relevant
They really had an event about googles ai that eventually will be a paid subscription.
After seeing the new S24 Ultra, I decided for now against selling my S23 Ultra. Apart from software that should come with 1UI 6.1, I see very little change between the two devices.

I agree with you. However the big upgrades are the new snapdragon 8 gen 3. Recording 4k 120fps, stabilisation, the new 5x zoom and portrait mode will be improved.. I'm not too much into the ai stuff but I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I can't wait to test out the camera
Same. Knowing that some of the AI features will some with the OneUI 6.1 update and will just be free for 1 year. So the s23 still keeps up to the new model.

I am a Samsung Knight. However in terms of upgrade It's an incremental upgrade . Better AOD, Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. This upgrade is only for those who have the s22 or s21 or older , if you have the s23 ultra I recommend waiting one more year.
With that being said android offers more value like multi tasking , stylus pen w gestures, foldable innovation, advanced emulation no limitations etc. This is exactly why Samsung, Google, Huawei and Xiaomi , One plus and Red Magic and the entire android family will always be lightyears ahead of ios and why I will never return my main sim to ios ever again.
If you've never had a fold I'd really look into it. I loved my zfold3 but over time it just started to feel gimmicky. I'm excited to trade my fold for the s24 ultra.

i havent seen a huge upgrade with Galaxy in quite a while. in 2020 i went from an S9+ to an S20+. had the S20+ for over 3 years and then got the S22 Ultra end of September 2022. it was a pretty reasonable upgrade,i never had a Galaxy with an SPen,and over all the screen increase was nice(i have big hands). the biggest flaw was its battery life,it was noticable from day 1 and was unbearable,i nearly regretted my decision. come august 2023,a near year later, and i switched to the S23 Ultra, and its hands down my favorite phone ive owned so far. not a flaw in sight,the only nitpick i have is i wish it had 12GB of RAM like my S20+ had,instead of the 8GB it has.
looking at the S24 Ultra,and this genuinely looks like an S23 Ultra but with a flat screen and some AI features out of the box. and i thought the S23 Ultra was just a glorified S22 Ultra 😂😭 at least with that upgrade,it came with better battery(night and day difference).

When a company highlights AI as selling point, you know there won't be much improvements 😂. One thing I like tho is they aren't gatekeeping features. Ipad m1 and m2 have the same display but the hover option is only exclusive to m2.
At this rate , rhey are going to have to create a dodgy update to force our s23 Us to malfunction in order to drive sales on the s24.
How could they somehow lower the quality of the zoom is beyond me.

I have s23 ultra but I m upgrading. My main reasons are that titanium feels lighter to hold despite same mass for 23 and 24 ultra. Also the purple color. Now also in India I get a trade in value of around 850 USD in Samsung offline store. Combined with all other offers I get the 512 GB for around 420 USD. I feel it makes more sense to upgrade every year for 420 USD than to spend 1300 USD in 3 years at one go, becoz we can experience all the phones. On top of that the price is increasing every year, if someone wants to get s26 ultra then they get basically 200-300 USD for s23 ultra and have to pay 1250-1300 USD for the upgrade. If you don't get a good value for s23 ultra then it doesn't make sense to upgrade now if you don't care about some AI features
At my provider u get 300 euro extra trade-in deal so the 1tb is 1100 euro , and together with the free upgrade to 1tb the phone cost around €860 i upgrade because after selling ultra i only need to pay max 70 euro extra for the 1tb

SD card slot and headphone isnt gone samsung only putting them in the mid range and budget phones. They just choose to not put them in the flagship phones
We haven't moved on as people from SD cards, the corporations moved on to take more of our money.

No SD card so you are forced into paying $100-200 in memory instead of paying $20-40.
Forgot about anti glare display my guy. Makes a big difference.

How can you say stop talking about the Micro SD Cards?... Every tech news leaker always mention the camera on the phone for the upcoming year 1st every year and actual cameras that shot 8K videos have a Micro SD Card slot, So tell why a 2,000 dollar phone shouldn't have 1?...

I believe you may have touched on this in your video or maybe not, but can you please talk in more detail about this PAY FOR AI feature in or after 2025. I find this very concerning. After paying a premium price for a samsung device they now wants to nickle and dime you for features that should be free!!!!!

They downgraded the ram on the base model s23 ultra from 12gb (on the s22 ultra) to 8gb, only to raise it back up again for the s24 ultra.

They downgraded 10x to 5x on S24U and the chipset is 10% lwss efficient. Yoy can bet they will "upgrade" thewe for S25U. 😁

I got the S23 Ultra and i will never understand why people switch there phones every year, the differences are so minimum! To me it's a waste of money to upgrade every year it's better to upgrade after 3-4 years, only than you will have a better phone!
