Since you have an appreciation for Avi's voice, I don't think you've reacted to any of his original solo music, so you need to do a reaction to his most successful song so far, "Change on the Rise". Most is done in more of a baritone voice, but all voices you hear, high and low are him, as are all sounds other than a bit of synth organ and tambourine in the bridge. A powerful anthem. 9 million views and growing.

Your reaction was priceless ❤ please do more PTX there’s so many new songs and old ones. If you want to hear their Rapping abilities, I’m sure your going to like it
Don't forget you are dealing with PTX. And therefore a lot of copyright blocks🤷🙄 pausing is actually a great way to help avoid that.😉 but it's always helpful to rewind a few seconds to get the flow back😎 Which you usually do😂
Thanks Renee! I’m so glad the PTX fans get this. Pausing helps so much with copyright. I don’t mind losing monetization but if I get a full block it’s a bummer. I just love checking out new music with y’all!
The copyright issues are almost exclusively with their stuff with RCA/SME, so their earliest material (the couch videos, and the songs off their first three EPs), and all five of the evolution videos) are safe. The couch videos and the evolution videos don't belong the the label, and tiny Madison Gate doesn't have the staff or inclination to go after fans of their biggest thing ever.
@@UserHorologium I'll take your word on it. I'm not as up-to-date on all the details. I just know a lot of reactors have issues with different PTX videos🤷😉
@@reneeg9406 I cannot speak to monetization, but I have never heard of a reactor getting blocked for the videos I mentioned. I have been following them for only five years now (unlike some people who have been with them since the beginning) but all of the radioactive tracks (not including "Radioactive") were the official videos released after their major label debut, and a few high-profile others such as the 90s Dance Medley. I don't want to shank the reactors, but I do pay attention to what is getting blocked.
@@UserHorologium I have been following them since the beginning. But not necessarily reactors for that long. And I don't pay that close of attention so I don't notice what is/isn't getting blocked. I've Just Seen different ways that they have used to get around it😉 and I hear a lot of complaints🤷 I watch PTX when they were originally on The Sing-Off. But I only started watching reactions about a year-and-a-half to 2 years ago😉
If you love PTX, you will also love Home Free. Another A cappella group. Try Man of Constant Sorrow first. Will absolutely blow your mind. You will love it
Kirsten sounds so much like Michael. For another deep voice try Home Free. Try Ring of Fire to hear their bass as well as Avi. Brian May loves their Bohemian Rhapsody if you haven’t seen it yet.
All of their evolution videos are amazing but the Beyonce one is my fav. Also, check out Superfruit! It's a side project of Mitch and Scott. They did a Beyonce medley and Lady Gaga medley which are just stellar! Love your reactions!
If you are amazed with Avi's base you should really react to just about anything from geoff castellucci. He is the base singer from the a cappella group Voice Play. Specifically watch the Oogie Boogie song...
Please don’t shy away from naming them each and go back if you need reminders/examples! Then you won’t skip just one person (Kirstin…) on accident 😂 It’s easy to do cuz her fantastic contributions are just more subtle and don’t often have the same kind of “wow” factor, but the group only exists on the level they do because of each one of them and what they each bring. Kirstin is a chameleon! In Evolution of Rihanna and Ariana Grande, you can hear her and Mitch switching who’s on melody, who’s higher, etc. It’s very well thought out based on timbre, range, desired balance, blend, etc. They both do it seamlessly in those videos, but I feel like that has been Kirstin’s secret weapon, especially, for a long time.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that her name didn't appear to even be mentioned once despite her arguably being more visible in this than some of their other earlier stuff.
M MG had a great idea but sometimes reactors get the fan made video instead of the good tv broadcast one. This has 3 original songs and the Evolution of Michael Jackson. It's is a little over 14 minutes long but it flies by. Here is the link. ua-cam.com/video/7GMHqYxpnzk/v-deo.html Also your reactions are always so spot on. I love watching you react to them bc you are perfectly blown away every single time. It's great! I sent you this on IG DMs I think but they are putting out a deluxe version of their latest album at midnight in the US and it has 7 brand new originals. But the BIG THING IS that they are putting out a video for midnight in Tokyo tomorrow at 9am PST/12 EST. Helpful hint: pause as much as possible and put some sort of filter on it bc it will be blocked

Hi, greetings from the Netherlands. This was so much fun to watch. Some great voices! I might have an interesting recommendation for you. Would you be interested in reacting to some symphonic metal? Try listening to Nightwish. They are a Finnish band and they’re top notch in this genre. Their singer, Dutchie Floor Jansen, has one of the best female voices in metal today. The Nightwish songcatalogue is vast. There are epic songs, like the one you I’m recommending now, but they can also go really heavy on you and the next song could be very celtic sounding or even jazzy…Their music is exceptionally well composed and the lyrics are very powerful and poetic. Nightwish is best appreciated LIVE. Give the song Ghost Love Score a try. It was recorded at Wacken 2013, in front of 82 000 people. You might be surprised ua-cam.com/video/JYjIlHWBAVo/v-deo.html

Don't forget you are dealing with PTX. And therefore a lot of copyright blocks🤷🙄 pausing is actually a great way to help avoid that.😉 but it's always helpful to rewind a few seconds to get the flow back😎
Which you usually do😂
Thanks Renee!
You will love it
I love Home Free! I've done a number of their tracks!

Such a great reaction!!!! It is just hit after hit isn’t it?
Niceeeee reaction
Kirsten sounds so much like Michael. For another deep voice try Home Free. Try Ring of Fire to hear their bass as well as Avi. Brian May loves their Bohemian Rhapsody if you haven’t seen it yet.
I think dirty Diane blew your mind... it did for me :o
PTX = Perfect Transitions Xecuted.
That’s so perfect! I totally agree!
The only thing that could make this any better is if they put a sparkly black glove on Scott!
Listen to if I ever fall in love with Jason Derulo and ptx.scott gets very soulful
Wow
for a dazzling display of vocal virtuosity watch the Empire Medley by Scott and Mitch [Sup3rFruit]
Listen to “Can’t hold us “
Please don’t shy away from naming them each and go back if you need reminders/examples!
Her other power is also how much emotion she brings to the song (especially in songs like Shallow)
Not a weak one among them. For something different watch “ Havana”
Please check out LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY It gives Avi a chance to shine in a solo
♥️
Hi Mary! Thanks for watching!
M MG had a great idea but sometimes reactors get the fan made video instead of the good tv broadcast one.
This has 3 original songs and the Evolution of Michael Jackson. It's is a little over 14 minutes long but it flies by. Here is the link.

Also your reactions are always so spot on.
Thoroughly enjoy your reactions I would love to see any of the Avi era PTX songs. Nothing against Matt I just prefer their older music. No, Problem, Water, Cracked, Can't Help Falling in Love......and the list goes on.
This will show you how they do the one take videos.

As for Avi he is one of the very rare true bass singers. His biggest song is his first with deep bass you can find it on his UA-cam channel under Avi Kaplan if you want to react to it.

brah keep doing this...Don't car, make my hear whole... just like the other pentahoiics.. sorry, you got us now!! :)
Dude this completely unrelated to pentatonix but if your into guitar and metal you’ve got to check Tina S on UA-cam!
Sure wish I knew what has happened to you 😢 @metal guy reacts
Hi Joanna! Thank you for checking in 😊 It’s been a crazy 18 months. My mom has been fighting off brain cancer. It’s been a lot of ups and downs, and I’m spending as much time with her as I can. I really want to get back to making videos soon, my mom keeps encouraging me to.
I have some new ideas for the channel and I hope to be back at it before the end of 2023.
Thank you again and I so appreciate you checking in 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love you man, but i don't think you understand the meaning of the word "speechless".
Oh I totally do 😉 There’s thing called movie magic, that I invented, where I cut long silences. Inconceivable!
@@MetalGuyReacts Well i kind of meant anyone saying they are speechless makes it wrong... lol
😆 I see what you mean. I was so blown away my brain got scrambled lol. What should I check out of theirs next?
@@MetalGuyReacts Here's one you'll probably not get from anyone else so that makes it fun. Cruisin for a Bruisin. Its old old old school... lol
