Thank you so much for the kindness I really appreciate it you know this is the first video that I did in a long time when I filmed this earlier this year and so I kept saying” such a blessing or that stunning” And because of that a lot more than most of the comments that I’ve been getting recently I’ve been negative so it’s a real pleasure to hear someone say something nice about this video I hope you’re staying warm up there in Canada my friend I know it’s really cold here in New Mexico
@@lapidarydave I would love to attend this show one day but it's a bit far and I'm so glad you have such detailed videos from the show. Some of videos from others go so fast but you provide a great explanation of the gems and with great knowledge. Thank you for your videos and your kind words to the venders. I really appreciate all the close up shots. I really feel like I have an idea of what is there and showing the business cards is a fantastic idea. I have checked some of them out already to get an idea of their inventory. Very helpful video series! It snowed here today but we expect that for this time of year. It will get warmer in May. Cheers!
Jeltina Reitsema It’s truly my pleasure thank you so much for watching it’s really an honor I have about three or four videos in the works I will be uploading one tonight
One of the BEST videos that I’ve ever seen of Tucson. I subscribed! Great information. I’m a crystal collector. Seeing these huge pieces is soooo awesome. Not much chance of seeing these in Indiana

Ian Kalway Absolutely my brother it was totally a blessing to see you to share they are totally stunning pieces hope to see you in Denver if not I’ll see you next Tucson Thanks again for watching
Fantastic Dave. I envy your life. (just not your freezing cold workshop in winter) How can you not just spend all your money at that show. Everything is so cheep, yet , alas. I would go home broke.
malcolmsplace I often do but there’s not a better place to spend the ones money in the Tucson gem and mineral show once the show is over he realize that you never bought enough no matter how much money you spent everything becomes 5 10 Maybe 20 times or more valuable then when you bought them and if you’re cutting material you bought it can be 100 times more or even better
Lolol. When that lady was saying that color is what you really got to look at for knowing if a stone is jade and j audibly talked to her through my phone saying "nahnahnah ah lady... that ain't true either!". But then lol'd again when I saw that you scrolled some text at he bottom of the screen saying the same thing, hahaha! Right on brother ;)
So glad to have made it to the gem show this year! We are going home tomorrow sadly. It was so amazing and I have you to credit for a lot of the info I found about the shows! Thanks for all you do for the gem community. Saw you walking around at the kino show today lol
Brooke Butler LOL you should’ve said hi he would’ve been awesome anyway I’m so happy to hear that you had a great time here in Tucson thank you so much for the comment and for watching it’s truly a blessing and an honor
Wasn’t even aware of this huge annual Tucson Gem Show until I started watching another channel on opals (Black Opal Direct). This video (and the show) is AMAZING!! 😃👍🏻 OH... and a new Les Paul? 🎸😎🤘🏼
Karina Nur So this is a agatized Coral The way it is harvested it doesn’t really come from my mind but rather is pulled out of the mud in the swamps of Florida Thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it
Silent Traveler Thank you so much is truly a blessing to hear that you Watch the whole thing many more videos to come I only get to edit them at night and I do it when I’m falling asleep LOL I have two videos ready on artists that I got to interview and I’m working on the keno show right now but it’s such a large venue it’s going to be three part video
If you’re talking about the rings in the beginning of the video I do sure that information most of them are the same price and the information is in the video if you’re talking about the rings later in the video that are Native American me and I do not ask them how much they cost because I try not to film too much Native American stuff which people overseas can use the video to copy
Awesome video Dave, thank you so much for sharing. I hope we can run it to each other one day, you seem like such a cool guy. I used to play drums for a band called the desert ratz. From Hesperia ca. Now I'm a crazy rock hound and love it. Stay blessed Dave and thank you.
Shane Carubbi definitely man let’s meet up I might’ve heard of your band my friend in Mexico goes by the name desert ratt who used to share shows with us And folks would often mention that there was already a band named desert rat I wonder if it was you guysIt’s so cool that you’re in the rocks it can be a really lucrative business I make all of my money between rocks and music And though I’m not the richest it’s not a bad life thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate and feel free to ask me any questions anytime it’s my pleasure to answer
Alexandra juistinga thank you so much for watching I really appreciate it it’s truly a blessing to have you enjoy my videos store feel free to share with your friends and family if you think they would enjoy and please consider subscribing if you haven’t done so already it really helps the channel :)
R S Awesome my friend thank you so much for watching I really appreciate it you don’t need to go overboard although it’s very hard not to LOL just being there is an educational experience if you buy gems and minerals since it’s usually the cheapest place that one can find anything related to rocks gems and minerals
Hi Dave you are right, I recently bought some crystal cave and Indian turquoise jewelries in Wisconsin, which are not good prices and very limited selection. I already planned to be there on Jan, 2021. Hope by then everything back to normal and no COVID anymore, we can be free to enjoy the show. Hopefully see you there. Also thank you for your reply, you are very very nice, I will subscribe you.
R S I definitely hope to see you in Tucson this year it’ll be awesome if they let us do it my fingers are crossed for sure if it does happen I will be there no matter what I will be at the Kino electric sports complex venue come visit me and my grandma
From filming sometimes he calls security sometime is the security doesn’t kick me out and they just asked me to leave that particular boothwhich I usually do by the time they call security but sometimes they do ask me to leave I usually come back the next day
Thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it and they are priced between 30 and several thousands of dollars some of the smaller pieces were going for over $10,000 I wasn’t joking when I could barely afford my coffee LOL it was very nice of them to let me film
Definitely my friend and it gets a lot more expensive from there you should check out the videos That I made on Arkenstone there’s little specimens that are going for $25,000
FunkiesLOL Wait until you see my Tucson convention center video it’s the original venue of the Tucson gem and mineral show it’s been going on for 65 years and it’s probably the most pricey a show to the public there are some things in there worth millions of dollars smaller than the size of a fist
So usually takes place during mid January like around the 15th and ends around Valentine’s Day of February which is around the 14th or 15th he should definitely go it’s the largest gem show in the entire world I don’t know if it’s gonna happen in 2021 because of the crazy virus stuff but definitely make sure to do some research because you never know it might happen this year
Dave! First wanted to say hello and I love watching you, your very knowledgeable and appreciate your want to teach everyone else about all the different types out there and various cutting techniques and things !You always say to make sure to follow you and being adhd myself I’m like ohhhh yeah I need to follow him remember dang it cause I watch you all the time , I always seem to be busy during lives but still love seeing the shows you attend . I finally remembered btw to follow you like a year😂later , anyway I was wondering about the booth with the Jade where she was saying that you pay attention to color it just confused me because isn’t there not different shades and colors of Jade? Including one close to the one she’s using to compare the two?…. Anyways I’m just wondering if you or anyone who sees this knows any other identifying factors that someone could look for? It seems to be one of those I can’t seem to get a concrete answer on , or if you could refer me to a good resource that is reliable when someone is researching this type of thing?..Anyway just wondering! But keep doing what you do! 🤓
there are a few videos out on how to identify Jade. The biggest factor is the difference between serpentine and nephrite or Jadeite jade serpentine is soft enough to be scratched with a piece of steel 90% of the time, but not always where both types of Jade are always harder than steel. Also in this video, the lady talks about color that is the least helpful way to identify Jade Jade can literally be in any color, blue, pink, purple, black, green white low etc. so the color is a relevant. The lady in this video is very kind but she was just an employee for the gentleman who runs the booth I haven’t seen them in a few years. I suspect that they no longer do the 22nd St. show their space was pretty big I can imagine it was well over $25,000 for their space during the show
I dislike treated crystals very much, makes me sad what they do to them. Irradiated crystals give me a disgusting buzzing feeling in my heart and stomach and all over.
Thank you for the video! I'll probably never make it to that show unfortunately. What stone was that at 6:30 that you said was brutal? Pure awesomeness. Thank you.
Mr Bones' Curiosity Shop with Spike and Uncle Spooky if it’s a matter of money I’m sure you can make it here brother I had $20 versus entire show him support I can’t even pay attention LOL it’s a matter of location or house this place is very acceptable to everyone in fact they think it’s legal and they have to have tables spread at least the width of the wheelchair The stone I was talking about was a necklace made out of Royston ribbon turquoise Royston is in mine in Tonopah Nevada And the particular stones I was talking about had beautiful veins going to the matrix of the material thank you so much for watching my friend it means a lot to me consider subscribing if you haven’t done so already and many more videos will be coming out soon
TrajanaFortis thank you for watching my brother I am at the Kino electric sports park set up Near the food court across from the fudge vendors my grandma is selling native American hand drums her my grandpa and our friends have made and I’m selling mostly turquoise cabs and gemstone pop sockets come by and visit it would totally be a pleasure
I want to go.. Its a 2 hour drive from me. So I guess I could take a weekend and try it out..maybe sleep in my car somewhere..are hotels around there expensive?
chai latte The hotels are super gouged during the Tucson show but you can sleep in your car safely at planet fitness you can pay for a membership and they won’t bug you they have Internet and bathrooms and showers 24 seven that’s what me and my grandmother do LOL No one really knows if the Tucson show is going to happen next year I have faith though
I hired a homeless stranger off the street for my 2019 videos like happy Gilmore :) he turned out to be a awesome gentleman who has since passed away ❤️
Emma S. From doing a quick search it seems like there are a few Jem shows that are around Miami Fort Lauderdale area However The show in this video is the Tucson gem and mineral show is the largest in the world and though a lot of vendors might go to the Florida shows the show itself does not travel I would highly suggest looking up Jem shows in your area and if you can try to make it to the Denver gem show in September or you absolutely must go to the Tucson show in January and February it is 30 days long
Those rings and butterfly pendant wow.. mums totally into space so always wanted to get her a tiny piece of meteorite hard to find.. lot of rare stores here i have never even seen before
Are the jade is been sell is from the JadeMine company. I recognized the wooden box. The phrases that you use a lot are: “What a blessing” , “fantastic” and “stunning”.
Margui622 I’m trying not to see it as much I think it annoys some people when I say it over and over but it just came out that way LOL thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it
Unojoservir Last year I hired some traveling hippie kids to be my camera crew and outside of the venue they were playing with the camera gear and I don’t think the security like this very much so they kicked us out before we can even go in I think it was my camera crew that intimidated the people this year I had no problem at all in fact I was very welcome and invited to film different vendors and booths
Thankyou mr.dav; i'm going paralyzed + poor so i can't go to BEAUTIFUL shows like these; that why i REALLY appreciate the videos of the TG&M since i discovered them @ 2yrs ago; please i have 2 guestions; u showed 3 🐙's a) what type of stone was the oragne 🐙 made out of?; and b) i didn't understand what the material was when you were showing the section with the stuff that was coming out of the river beds (the gentleman u had spoken with said sometimes they had to fight of watermockenson 🐍) please if u know please tell me when u have time; thankyou this was so encouraging to see the works of Jehovah God's hand & the talent of the artists is just so BEAUTIFUL, thankyou for sharing If any words r misspelled im sorry my hands r numb now.
aunty mar-mar justme The material they said they had to fight off water moccasins to get was the fossilized coral and clam LOL they truly are a gift from God thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it
I love learning from Kyle Russell ❤️ When I was getting started I was sold Serpentine as Jade so often. And sometimes I dont think people mean to they just dont know. However, when I resell it I don't want to misinform my buyers.

Tiffany stone - heard a different story why there called Tiffany. A guy mined out these stones and the company Tiffany got very interested in them, and that’s why they got the name. That’s surely a blessing! 😉
Lilly Love Very interesting I have heard the same story myself however I asked the gentleman who owns the original mine in Utah and he said that it’s not exactly the case however it’s one of those beautiful things that the truth could be a conglomeration of all the stories put together
10 seconds in and you say you got "kicked out right away" of last years show, but no explanation! Maybe you'll say as the video goes on. I'm just wondering what you did to get kicked out.
Hello there my friend thanks for watching I really appreciate it when it comes to the reason why I got kicked out it was because The gentleman that I hired to help me film intimidated the security guards at the show they did not make us leave but from the moment we got there they said we couldn’t film my friend who was filming for me was a transient festival going plant medicine taking type of person and I think he and his friends intimidated the guards I did all the filming for this year’s Tucson show by myself and I used a GoPro which is really small so I have no problem with filming or with any guards

Wow you are like the walking, talking book of minerals! Love your commentaries! So glad I found your channel. Greetings from Canada!
Cheers!
Absolutely a great video! My fav. Videos to watch. This stuff is so amazing! Great video! Keep doing the stuff you’re doing enjoying watching🙂
Thank you so much for watching I really appreciate it

Hello! Do you need to have a wholesale permit to buy there??
not this show no
In all of your videos I have rarely seen any pink Amethyst from Patagonia Brazil. Is it that rare that no one seems to have much or any?
Thank you Dave! I would love to one day visit the show. I really appreciate you sharing your experience and wisdom. You are the best. :).

thanks for aadmiring our cutters work .... the carvings are done in Chiang Mai Thailand actually
Hello my friend 💎💕
The Scum Frog definitely my friend you cannot judge Jade by the color :)
Top Speed Brazil :) Howdy
Thanks for the video. Sad I missed it this year. Not much room anywhere for another piece, but maybe I can start hanging them from the ceiling.
Tracy Shevling That’s not a bad idea at all my friend I was thinking the same thing
TrubadorPhotography yep new les Paul I bought for a crazy price on the local facebook marketplace
Black opal direct is definitely a cool channel
Do you know ? 20:54 Is this old fossils or coral polyps or mine minerals
Karina Nur So this is a agatized Coral The way it is harvested it doesn’t really come from my mind but rather is pulled out of the mud in the swamps of Florida
Thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it
I made it through the whole video.
*What A Blessing*
Silent Traveler Thank you so much is truly a blessing to hear that you Watch the whole thing many more videos to come I only get to edit them at night and I do it when I’m falling asleep LOL I have two videos ready on artists that I got to interview and I’m working on the keno show right now but it’s such a large venue it’s going to be three part video
Made it through the whole tent Saturday and came back for Sunday
Thanks for sharing, this video is very good for me. I decided to buy some crystals from your video. 👍👍👍
Awesome
Have you thought about asking the stall holder how much the rings were as I would have liked to know.
If you’re talking about the rings in the beginning of the video I do sure that information most of them are the same price and the information is in the video if you’re talking about the rings later in the video that are Native American me and I do not ask them how much they cost because I try not to film too much Native American stuff which people overseas can use the video to copy
Your respectful consideration is appreciated by creators of native art and those of us loving their talents.
Oh wow! So much cool shtuff! I miss going to rock and mineral shows. Stupid covid! New subscriber here. Look forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank you so much brother appreciate you watching you have a great channel I can’t wait to see your next video
Old rock hounds never die, we only petrify

Thank you so so much Dave, I will prepare enough budget to visit there !!
How do you get kicked out of a rock show?
From filming sometimes he calls security sometime is the security doesn’t kick me out and they just asked me to leave that particular boothwhich I usually do by the time they call security but sometimes they do ask me to leave I usually come back the next day
I wish you would have shown a card for the first vendor. Do you know the name.Thank you.
Are they price between $30 to $1000 ???? Thanks for showing and I very interested going there... my mom love them....
Thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it and they are priced between 30 and several thousands of dollars some of the smaller pieces were going for over $10,000 I wasn’t joking when I could barely afford my coffee LOL it was very nice of them to let me film
@@lapidarydave wow! really that is really expensive
Definitely my friend and it gets a lot more expensive from there you should check out the videos That I made on Arkenstone there’s little specimens that are going for $25,000
@@lapidarydave wow! That very expensive
FunkiesLOL Wait until you see my Tucson convention center video it’s the original venue of the Tucson gem and mineral show it’s been going on for 65 years and it’s probably the most pricey a show to the public there are some things in there worth millions of dollars smaller than the size of a fist
26:08 omg you have to restore the heart of tefeti!!! 😂 I want it! Lol
I always wanted to go but don't know what time of year or where it's at please help me out with that I would love to buy so many things
Matt atron I totally agree with you my friend it’s very deceptive and very rude to the crystal medicine
137% with ya on that one Matt!
@@lapidarydave So true, and it doesn't improve their energy, at the contrary !
Finally, here is a man like me, who respects and loves the products of nature in their original state rather than disguising them!
@@lapidarydave fantastic, thank you. Subbed and liked.
Thank you so much the sub really means a lot to me and it really helps the channel
Are you set up in a booth this year? Where at? Cool video; thanks for sharing.
아름답고 독특한 제품들이 많아서 보고 있으니 즐거워요.독특한 색챙와 형태를 가진 원석들을 보니 정말 놀라워요.
The reason I stopped going to the Chicago Gem and Mineral show... It became the Gem and Jewelry show !!!
my film crew?!?(😁😂🤣)
whoa dave dont get too ahead of yourself..lol just kidding love you brother!
I hired a homeless stranger off the street for my 2019 videos like happy Gilmore :) he turned out to be a awesome gentleman who has since passed away ❤️
Do these shows also come to Miami Florida?
Emma S. From doing a quick search it seems like there are a few Jem shows that are around Miami Fort Lauderdale area However The show in this video is the Tucson gem and mineral show is the largest in the world and though a lot of vendors might go to the Florida shows the show itself does not travel I would highly suggest looking up Jem shows in your area and if you can try to make it to the Denver gem show in September or you absolutely must go to the Tucson show in January and February it is 30 days long
Those rings and butterfly pendant wow.. mums totally into space so always wanted to get her a tiny piece of meteorite hard to find.. lot of rare stores here i have never even seen before
Just Cards By Sara I definitely feel the same way my friend I go every year thinking I’ve seen it all and then always pleasantly surprised
This man is a saint. God bless.
Are the jade is been sell is from the JadeMine company. I recognized the wooden box. The phrases that you use a lot are: “What a blessing” , “fantastic” and “stunning”.
Margui622 I’m trying not to see it as much I think it annoys some people when I say it over and over but it just came out that way LOL thank you so much for watching my friend I really appreciate it
Why did you get kicked out last year?
Unojoservir Last year I hired some traveling hippie kids to be my camera crew and outside of the venue they were playing with the camera gear and I don’t think the security like this very much so they kicked us out before we can even go in I think it was my camera crew that intimidated the people this year I had no problem at all in fact I was very welcome and invited to film different vendors and booths

What time of the year do they have this.
Late January through mid February

Yes! You are from the states...I found the answer to my question in this video...lol 😆
