- In this video I show off the rest of my footage from the Pueblo Gem and Fossil show which I one of several sections of the Tucson Gem And Mineral Show 2020 hotel shows
we take a lot at the beautiful carved gemstone birds , some fossils, and some lapis goods
All the carved birds are all magnificent. The reptiles are beautiful and the humming birds are gorgeous. Its definitely not a choir when I hear the black or white Cockatoos screaming at each other in Tasmania, Australia.
Beautiful Lapis Lazuli another of my favourites but then really I love all gemstones.
I'm loving the fossils, love this video for showing so much and in depth too.

We tracked Dave to his Grandmother’s booth at the Kino show. His friends at the Highland Park booth gave him up. Fun to meet Dave. There are 46 shows at 46 locations in Tucson, we did Ramada, 22nd Street and Kino. Could have spent 3 days at Kino alone. At one booth the guy behind me was from India and he spent $9,000 on a single buy of bulk rock.

Paige Lee The Hummingbirds and toucans are really nice But my favorites are also the hours there’s something very special about them especially that little blue and my grandfather scopes a lot of hours out of gemstone back home in Taos New Mexico they are one of his totem animals and are very special to me too thank you so much for watching and thank you so much for commenting I really appreciate it my friend

The bird carvings are fabulous...I could only imagine a space large enough to put that huge cluster. Yes I'm guilty of shopping chanels.....the jewelry is so beautiful as well. Hope you get some tacos ! Thanks man
that is nothing to be guilty about the material that they use on QVC and stuff is often pretty awesome in the prices are fantastic I buy men's rings from shopping channels myself

Diana Chack I totally agree my friend I tried to do the same but I literally only had about an hour and 20 minutes to check everything out and to film what I could I wish I could’ve been there Friday and Saturday as well but I didn’t get the ticket until the very last day of the show maybe three hours before it ended and it took me a long time to get there
@@lapidarydave wow, you explained a little but that's intense. Glad you got to make it at all to share some eye candy with us! All the epieces were amazing but some of them were just fantastic. Maybe next year will pan out better 🤗
Diana Chack Definitely I will make sure to buy my ticket early to get there for Friday and Saturday instead of just late Sunday that is if they even have the Tucson gem and mineral show in 2021 if they do have the gym show in 2021 I suspect that will have a lot less foreigners than it has the last few decades which would be very weird since they’ve definitely make up 90% of the show it will be a mostly all American show for the first time in decades a very weird show for sure but definitely something worth filming and explaining

I love Lapis! I swear I need to go to the Tucson Gem Show at least one time in my life! But I live so far from Arizona! I will one day go to a tucson gem and mineral show!
You should definitely take the time to go to the Tucson gem and mineral show it’s the largest gym show in the world and takes over a big part of Tucson 2021 is going to be a very weird show because of the wild world events and cents probably 80% or more of the vendors from out of the country who may not be able to make it into our country in January next year But 2022 will be a fantastic year maybe the biggest year ever even if you don’t have a lot of money it’s totally worth going it is a learning experience that cannot be experienced anywhere else you don’t have to go with a lot of money I went there last year with only a couple hundred dollars and it was a blast
Dont but it in water or wear a gas mask lapis are toxic in water

@@lapidarydave that's awesome man! Don't get me wrong, music is a giant part of my life. I have a few friends of my own in the music industry from country to 8 string shredder metal, I've dabbled with backup vocals in a few punk rock bands when I was a teen in the late 90s early 2000.
I think videos such as this need dialog, due to many factors. And music is very personal, it may be a wonderful song but if your not feeling it...it's trash

La Kimberlyts I’m sorry my friend I have no idea how much they cost because they were being sold by the kilogram I did not know how much per kilogram they cost and I did not know how much each bird weighed

Jack Phillson When it comes to the big pieces there were no prices advertised only numbers letting the vendor in the buyer know what it weights in kilograms If there were prices I would have mentioned them but only the weight of the stone on these particularly large ones
Robert Tinsley How do you do there my friend when it comes to the larger pieces in this particular tent they were no prices for the large pieces only a number letting the vendor and the buyer know what the wait is in kilograms this is probably to keep the buyers from being too intimidated by the piece is often times they can seem overpriced but sometimes also underpriced you’re in luck though I did ask the gentleman how much the large lapis obolisk column was He told me it was $15,500 I guess I just forgot and didn’t manage to make it into the video anyway thank you so much for watching I totally appreciate it

Are there rocks from Indonesia? Because in Indonesia there are so many beautiful stones.
I believe in this video the rocks are from Brazil Afghanistan and morraco there might be some from Indonesia
In indonesia have much gemstone like chalsedony, opal, idocrass, jade, agate picture, chrysocola in chalsedony.
I hope that Indonesian gemstone can be famous abroad

Are you really? Because in Indonesia now enthusiasts of gemstone are reduced so the price is cheap.
Pretty much all those fossil specimens need to be prepared. The reason they are so well preserved is they were encased in the matrix rock. The rock is chipped away to reveal the fossil.
Definitely some of them I think also a good amount of them are not even real They carve rock into the shape of the fossils they get different colors by layering different stones

Eating any reptile you know your eating reptile. Has distict flavor. I've had iguana crock, snapper turtle, frog. I have cousins in Cedar keys FLA. They prepare them in diff recipes. Its not chicken. 😉

Definitely considering the quartets feature trilos from completely different points in time! It is pretty neat to see the evolutions of the trilo on one piece though.
