    Just remember, everyone has to start somewhere, for those criticising the show, this show was Larry's window into entertainment, he met Richards here, valuable contact one, then he got the SNL writing gig based off of this where he met Julia, valuable contact two and because he had two TV credits when Seinfeld wanted his vehicle and Larry was called upon he was given the green light because despite him playing down he had no experience he'd been at the TV game since 1980, all of this helped get Seinfeld made.

      ​@@presto709 No, Michael Richards was on this show, Fridays, so Larry met him before Julia. Julia wasn't on this she was on SNL which Larry was a writer on for one single year during Julia's tenure. Fridays was an attempt to rival SNL and it failed.

      I remember Fridays and I thought Michael Richards was terrible at the time. He did this sketch where he was a kid in a sandbox and I thought it was torture to watch and yet it became a regular segnite.

    FRIDAYS wasn't a bad show. I watched it when I was a kid. I remember seeing this unknown band that was amazing, it was Huey Lewis and the News lol.

    I watched this occasionally because I believe pain and suffering is good for you spiritually. Although Melanie Chartoff blunted the hard edge of the pain.

    The only thing I remember about Frtiddays was Michael Richard's being a kid playing with toy tanks. I thought it was the most pointless unfunny thing I'd ever seen. And it was a recurring sketch! I was amazed to see him on Seinbeld being one of the funniest people I'd ever seen.
