A relaxing vlog focusing on simple living and enjoying the small things in life. I hope you enjoy this simple, back to basics English lifestyle vlog.
It seems everyone is busy, too busy, and it's taking its toll on our health and mental wellbeing.
We need to find ways to slow down, and stop rushing through life for the next big thing. What about the small things? These are the real day to day elements of our lives, so let's not speed through them, but enjoy exactly what they are; moments of your life!
This is only my second video, so I'm still learning! I hope you enjoy!

I spent 4 of my childhood years in England (in Alveston - a small village not too far from Bristol). This video gave me such warm fuzzies ❤️ We spent many days living a slow, small English countryside life; walking through fields in our wellies, lots of reading, and sharing meals with friends. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life and bringing back those sweet memories for me ❤️

I too am so glad I found your channel! love it... I currently live not far from John Muir's family Home and where once was beautiful nature, now is over population and all that comes with it... how I wish we could have more of the simple life... but we can try in our own homes and the space around us right?
It's so sad to see nature and beauty become urban sprawl - I understand there is a need for growth, but sometime I think development is a little inconsiderate and could be done differently. We need to save these spaces x Yes - we can all create a simple life - and it starts in the home xx

Now that looked like a PROPER Yorkshire pud batter. Fairly heavy with some substance to it. None of this ‘cut into it and it disintegrates’ in a puff stuff. As a Tyke myself, I like my proper Yorkshire puds and, as a vegetarian, meat free sausages in my toad in the hole. Delicious.

I so glad you loved it, but im sorry you're stressed. I've been there, college stress, big city noise... just remember its a chapter - not your whole book. It might help to look at it as a "stage" in life, and it's the key to the next chapter. Try to remember that 'this too shall pass" x

The sound at 1:44? That's Yorkshire, to me. I can't make Yorkshire pudding to save my life (bit embarrassing for a Yorkshire lass!), but toad in t'hole is one of my all time favourites. That meal looked divine!!
Walking in the forest, especially up at Dalby, brings peace to my soul. It connects me to my parents and loosens the worries and anxiety from my shoulders. Some people crave the crash of waves. I crave the gentle sussurance of the trees above and around me, the sound of birdsong and the smell of the earth and undergrowth. It reminds me how inter connected we are. These things remind me of how small we are, and in the broad spectrum of time, how inconsequential our worries. Time in a forest reminds me to be present in this exact moment. Everything is exactly as it should be, right now. I am healthy, I am happy, I have all I need. I am enough. The Divine Spirit and it's beauty live within me. And within you, too.

It's exciting to find a vlogger in Yorkshire, James Harriot country! :) The BBC did a new take on his books last year, which I love! The fact you put aspects of nature and its appreciation into your vids, as well as quotes by one of my all-time heroes John Muir. His writings are amazing! Also, I'm dying to ask, what is the significance behind the name of your channel, "Apron Full of Stones"?
Enjoyed watching many of the same things I do only over here in Yankee New England where we still carry on many of the same traditions from the UK, similar recipes and even have a chain restaurant here called "The British Beer Company" in Plymouth and on the Cape where many of the towns are named after towns in the UK! Still close to our motherland, along with the tea rooms and English teas served at many of our old country inns! Thanks for sharing your beautiful life in the UK...blessed be~
