Subject AC: DSA-2 Full Armor Moonbreaker
Callsign: The Grey Gecko
Heavy assault AC developed using the DSA-2 Moonbreaker as a basis. The original fame of the Moonbreaker was a generalist AC designed to fit into any combat situation, initally intending to make use of the IA-CO1W2 Moonlight Light Wave Blade, but the Hokushi generator could not provide the necessary energy output to utilise the weapon to its full potential. Adjustments to armor and armaments allowed to changes needed to install the heavyweight VE-20C generator, much more potent energy efficiency allowed this new AC unleash the full power of the Moonlight Blade. Even with this new generator EN demands were still rather strict, as such it was forced to make use of weapons that were less energy demanding and unable to benefit from the VE-20C's high energy adjustment

Very similar to a build I used to use. I had the songbird rather than earshot, but otherwise near identical build.
I know it won you the fight in the end, but I think your making the same mistake I used to make with the moonlight and only going for the charge attack. Or at least overly relying on it.
Mixing it up a bit and only going for the charge when you've just dodged a big attack (so they are on cooldowns) made a huge difference for me.
Also use the standard attack when the opponent is staggered as the charge gives them enough time to recover and you usually miss.
