These stories inspired by Herculean quests are amazingly good. It's strange that I had read so many books of Christie and hadn't found these before! And the narration is perfect. English is not my native language, but I can understand this narration easily. Also subtitles are a great idea. Thank you, I'm subscribing to the channel!
Hihi. I love that comments are mad that Jason doesn’t read as well as Hugh or whatever. Uhhhh… This is a robot! This is a sample of Jason Fraser. Not a human. An amazing synthetic voice computer program but it is not a human at all. Still, it’s free and read good enough to be interesting.
I quite agree. Constructive comments are ok, complaints are not. It's quite scary to realize that many people were probably put away or driven mad in the past by "loving " relatives
The little noises in these recordings - such as at 39:05 - often seem to be short words or a couple syllables, played back perhaps 4 times normal speed. This one says something like "uh-vet", but in another recording on this channel I clearly heard "snippet". I've no idea why these are so consistently, albeit infrequently, injected.
CREEPY listening to rip-off AI voice of Hugh Fraser. I listen and all I can see ilin my minds eye is a dark abyss. n NO THANKS, AM BOYCOTTING AI and will block this channel.
Another beautiful Fraser voice, and an AC story that’s new to Me; Thank-You! (I’m curious about the relationship between Hugh and Jason: Brothers? Father/Son?…) I am enjoying these readings, and would offer some constructive-criticism - if it’s desired: 1.) A slightly slower reading pace would be more enjoyable. 2.) The mispronunciations and sometimes choppiness-of-timing can make the reading feel a like AI. 3.) I miss the accents of Each Character (especially of HP) - but accept that this may not be possible to replicate without the yrs of Experience in acting/hearing. 😉😄🤍 Thanks, again; I’m looking forward to hearing more of this group of stories - from the ‘Labours of Hercules’ group!

Unsurprisingly a great story but really well read. Thanks very much.
Just joined and I'm glad i did. Thank you wonderful reading voice.
Captivating AC story. So very well written and the narration is quite good.
The problem is, that I often cannot tell the difference between one character and another with this narration...Otherwise a great story!
Very Good. That great Fraser voice!
New subscriber. Thanks for this channel ❤

Quit complaining people, it’s free. Either listen to it or NOT! Get the books and read them, if perfection is what you seek.
Calling out artificiality, nothing more, don’t get upset. Listening to Hugh Fraser reading the Poirot books is free too
Thank you!
It's not free if you if you pay premium, to hopping listen good with no commercials

I enjoy a story where the writer can fool me. I was believing it was the unmarried Colonel all along UNTIL the very last moments. Good job, Agatha!
Thanks!
Thank you for the loading

It's AI , not exactly a finished product .
Your voice really like Hugh Fraser
I have to wonder if it's an AI reproduction of Hugh Fraser. The voice is like enough, but occasionally the emphasis is atrocious.
@@CarrieOBrien-gi7ncSpot on. HF’s voice has been cloned by AI
It's definitely AI

DONT FEED THE AI BEAST!! BLOCK THIS CHANNEL IF YOU CARE ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS.
I enjoyed the story but it sounded like AI not human.
It was.
The narrator’s tone is “ off” and there’s no warmth like there is when this story is read by Hugh Fraser. Im going to listen elsewhere.
Anyone who thinks this is a human should listen at 39:53
Great narration- a rival to Hugh Fraser

I like a slower reading pace as well, do l go yo settings and change speed to 75%....much better, especially as a bedtime, go to sleep story.
@@malina1239wrong. Jason is Hugh's nephew. Learn facts before making statements. If you don't it make you look stupid.
This is poor narration but listenable.
This should be Hugh Fraser
Was great till the ads started. Sorry but adios.
All the best:)

Not well narrated.
Voice of poirot not right. Hugh Fraser could manage it.
Who's making you listen? If you don't like it don't listen.
1/4 the way through the story; I’m thinking it’s Revenge.
Jason Fraser is he relation of Hugh Fraser ??
Yes. He's his nephew.
Some highly idiosyncratic pronounciation and stressed syllables!
Why the heart?
It's called enunciation.
