I also think the narrator is AI. A real actor who spoke as well as this one would not have such unnatural pauses and would certainly give Poirot some sort of Belgian accent
There's MANY mistakes made with pronounciation too - often with quite simple words that could never have been mistaken by an actual person. A shame, as I DETEST dishonesty and any acts that seek to deceive people....that said, it is probably the best and most natural sounding A.I. I've come across....
@@JayJay-jl8pn Again, you're clueless. Many narrators DO make mistakes with their pronunciation and of course, it is NOT A.I. Educate yourself on some basic copyright law and Google the original which proves I am correct. Btw you poor uneducated thing, I am the lawyer and double honours graduate here, NOT YOU.
I have found that if you push Pause before Stop, whilst recording, you can rewind, find your spot, push Record, then Pause (to un-pause), to pick up where you left off. This way you can correct errors without leaving a trace. Cheers. Jon in rural BC, Canada
@@cindygrubbs5856 he sounds very much like Hugh Fraser, but i doubt it is him given in all the other audiobook's narrated by Hugh Fraser, Poirot has a distinct Belgium accent, which is not the case here
I do think this is AI actually. There's the fact that while Jason Fraser is a real voice actor, what's perported to be him here does no actual voice acting for the characters at all. Then there are the two or three weird AI stutters in the recording. Those are more obvious.
It says narrated by Jason Fraser. Is it common to give AI sir names. I like the narrator. Being hard of hearing I don’t have any problem understanding.
@C.Hughes-Lloyd You poor thing, yourself. You do know that the characters should sound different? Listen to a Peroit from HUGH Frazer. This is a knockoff.
@@kimpulsipher647 Haha, love how you just shot yourself in the foot. First of all, it's Hugh FRASER, not Frazer. Secondly, I have heard all of his narrations, Agatha Christie and more. I have seen him on stage. None of that applies to you, you inappropriately patronising fool and child. If you had bothered to scroll down on the information given (which you didn't), you would have seen a photo of him plus details of others he has narrated. @@C.Hughes-Lloyd 22:34 - there's no way a human narrator would pronounce it "Poi-Rot" it's definitely AI 😂 There are so many little things that are said wrong throughout the whole script, that it's quite clearly not a real person.
A narrator par excellence! The biographical introduction that preceded "The Lemesurier Inheritance", and "The Lost Mine" was a nice touch. 😊
Narrator is excellent. ( couldn’t just say “excellent narrator” like everyone else, 😊)
I'm one that has the opinion that it's an AI voice. The strongest reason is that sometimes it pronounces the T in Poirot.
@Steven-tm6kr Yes it hasn't quite got its act together; it would turn Peugeot into Perjo.

AI. Personally dont likre.
Yes it is AI. Hope AI improve as they will useit moreand as it is cheaper.

Well done subbed right away or immediately thanks for this
Same!
Well done😊
New sub here! Marvelous voice!
Interesting
Thanks!
Narration is very well done!
Excellent narrator, related to Hugh ?
Has similar tone to voice, maybe A.I.
@@robyn7287not AI. He is a real live voice actor.
Hugh Fraser , according to Google, only has a daughter. It sounds so much like Hugh!

I heard the noises on another recording on this channel as well.
