In actual fact, the other contestants also fell in love with Dimash. The others are all well established artists in China, with their own fans. It’s not like our X factor type contests, showing new undiscovered talent. The Chinese artists all feel honoured to go on this competition. They get the amazing full orchestra. Some of them asked Dimash to appear on their own concerts. Dimash is so humble. How could they not love Dimash. He has no ego. I believe Dimash stayed in China for three years,

He is unreal, everything in one person, how is this possible i don't know, his chest voice is so powerful more powerful and clear than most of the tenors, his mix is phenomenal, his head voice is really unbelievable, as some of the vocal coach said he sings better in head voice than soprano singers, his transitions, breath control, G5 Belting, passion, presence, i am just so happy to live same time as dimash, he is the one and only #thebest❤️❤️❤️

That's what makes Dimash a genuine artist: he loves music, he knows about music, he can express himself through his music and can create music. ❤🎤🌹

Dimash here is competing in "I am a singer" China 2017. No recorded tracks are used here. The singer performs with a live orchestra and choir present on stage. Dimash was 22 years old and was the youngest contestant in the pageant. He won second place because I read that first place should go to a Chinese-speaking singer. First place is not important for Dimash because he became known all over the world. At this time he started calling his fans "dears".

All the contestants became really good friends with Dimash because he is such a lovely person & never behaves like a 'star'. His English isn't great because he was learning the songs phonetically as he was only just beginning to learn English as well as learning Chinese. Love your reactions 👏

The 4 guys play in their band and are fantastic. All the singers in the back are really good. He sings in 13 languages. Japanese was the last one he sang. You have to hear the song he wrote War and Peace. Its a blazer.

Those ‘unhappy’ boys really love Dimash. They are the ‘Lion’ band led by the guy in the white jumper facing the camera right hand side, Jam Hsaio, a fantastic Taiwanese singer and actor, multi-instrumentalist and song writer in his own right who formed the rock band in 2016. They placed third on this show - The Singer 2017 - Dimash placed second and the show was won by the amazing Sandy Lam, Hong Kong singer and actress.
This Singer was a showcase for established, professional Chinese Singers and is worth watching not only for Dimash’s performances but for the other incredibly talented competitors like Sandy, Lion band, Jason Zhang and Terry Lin to name a few.
Wonderful that you credit the musicians - they are first class along with the background singers, technicians, directors and production team. Their jobs couldn’t have been easy when you consider each contestant (14 in all) had to learn and present a new song every week. The production pressures would have been enormous.

It looks like you are doing all of the performances from “The Singer”. If so, please skip episode 5 🤣🤣. My suggestion would be to sprinkle in a few recent performances in between, so your subs don’t lose interest. If you go through all of the old performances (there are a lot) before getting to any recent ones, you may see your views drop. I’ve seen it happen to other reactors, and I don’t want it to happen to you. You will also see how much his English has improved in his more recent work. Thanks again for reacting to our Dimash.

The 4 guyes is the rockgroup"Lions"! They got to be close friends with Dimash during this show. They, Dimash and Sandy was the onley ones that got to the finaly from the start group! This contest was 13 weeks long!!! Dimash loves rock and Lions was shocked he was gonna do this song. The guy in the end was just gonna start in this contest and was asked what he was thinking about Dimash! His answer was "fieras"!
The singer from "Lions" and another contestent "Tia" have been singing some outher showes after this contest.
The contest was a bit unusel I think from what we are juse to becouse there where I think 8 people starting in episode 1 and 2 was out after 2 showes and in the 3:e episode there wher 1 new and 1 artist that hade been in the contest before starting. Then after 2 more episodes and 2 moore that was woted of 2 outher started like before. They al where well known Chinese artist and older then Dimash!
I love this contest and its so mutch fun watching it al. There are eng subs from the contest if you looking for them on you tube if you whanna react to the outher contst to!!! They are al good and doing so many categories of the songs and artistts.

At that time (2017), Dimash only knew a few words of English and had to learn this song phonetically. His English now is much better, partly due to having to communicate in it with his Chinese team and fans (he says Mandarin is really too difficult - although he sings it beautifully!).
Dears affectionately call it ‘Dinglish’, due to his charming accent and Russian-type quirks ...!
You shouldn't be surprised he sang this in English given that it's a Queen song. One of Freddie Mercury's best.

The 4 guys are members of the Lion Band, very popular in China. Dimash has appearing in several other performances with Jam, the lead singer.

I love it when the reactor puts the singer first instead of himself. You totally ruin it with stopping and putting yourself first. Some of the reactors actually put Dimash up high and themselves in a small box on the corner.You ruin the viewing experience

Some people put Dimash’s performance in this little square and tell you that there are no subtitles when you know there are,but they get them in that little square ,then they tell how they are fixing up their space.We don’t want to see their space. A bigger screen at Best Buy doesn’t cost that much anymore.Put the money into that and not the space we could care less about. In the meantime we get to look at a big picture of them ,their chair,their wall,their dog.and another thing if they are building themselves up,some even showing they can sing that part of them songthey should be getting the singers background,where he is,the background of the song !its important.All they tell you is he lost a competition instead of how he stepped out of a competition he would have won to gallantly let the younger ones a chance.And if one more person calls him a little man once more when he probably has a foot on them,I’m going to scream. I never swore,I just didn’t but my iPad has heard more swearing than I want to admit.I really enjoy seeing people listening to his reactions when they hear his voice, but come on people take some time and give us some information on the performer. Also they all show him singing SOS.there are way better songs to introduce them to.One for young people and one for older people.And it’s my opinion that they they should show his songs right before it and learn that he has a heart that cries for peace before they drop One Sky on their heads..Sorry for the rant. I just get angry,when reactors can’t even pronounce his name then feature his song Daybreak really broke my heart. He was so passionate about that song.they tell people to listen to first song when he was 17 and sick. Ich bin seit 2019 Fan von Dimas und schaue fast jede neue Rezession an, wenn ein User Dimash zum ersten Mal hört und sieht. Denn Dimash ist nicht nur ein fantastischer Sänger sondern auch ein super Performer. Übrigens der Herr der kurz bei dem Gitarrensolo 🎸 eingeblendet wurde, im Publikum, nicht im Raum wo die anderen Teilnehmer saßen ist sein Vater.
Seine Eltern sind ja beide Bekannte und berühmte Sänger im heutigen Kasachstan. Haben aber für die Karriere ihres Sohnes eine Pause eingelegt um ihn überall hin zu begleiten.
All seine Biografie und Preise wirst du sicherlich schon erfahren haben, das spare ich mir hier. Doch was er mit gerade 28 Jahren schon erreicht hat, ist phänomenal.
Doch am meisten beeindrucken mich seine Life Konzerte, was dieser Mann kann ist wirklich kaum zu glauben. Ich denke er ist ein Jahrhunderttalent und das zu topen wird kaum möglich sein.
Trotzdem gibt es noch einige tolle Sänger für dich im weit entfernten Australien zu entdecken.

Und Dimash hat sehr hart an seinem Englisch gearbeitet was man an den Songs von 2021 und 2022 wirklich hören kann. In 15 Sprachen zu singen ist wirklich eine Super 👍 Leistung von ihm.
Es macht Spaß dir zuzusehen wie du auch diese Leistung würdigst und überwältigt bist.

Participants in the 'The Singer' competition had a week to learn and arrange the song that has been chosen for them. Dimash didn't speak a word of English at the time and only learned the lyrics phonetically. It was the 3rd song in the competition.

In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden until then. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
"The Show Must Go On" was the 3. song in the competition. Participants have one week to learn the lyrics and arrange the song. Dimash did not speak English at this point.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to UA-cam ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).
