But I`m also so exited..he won`t stay there for long, because his MV "The Story Of One Sky", is NOMINATED for an Award in England at the CPIFF: Chrystal Palace International Film Festival in London. It will be presented on 03.07.23, and the result will be announced on the 25th.
Dimash is a breath of fresh air, a rare gem, in the midst of a crowded entertainment industry. He is a young man with an old or mature soul; one who is wise beyond his years. He cares about doing the right thing in life and doing his best. In interviews Dimash has stated he is aware that success and adulation from fans will one day end. When that time comes, he will be in the audience and would be honored if people will say he behaved admirably and led a virtuous life. There is a clip of an interview Dimash gave when he was about 11, as one of the precocious Kazakh pupils, where he talked about his dream of bringing honor to his country through his (future) hard work. He met the Pope in Kazakhstan last year, who gave him a badge of recognition. He performed his song "The Story of one Sky" to him, itˇs about love and peace. I saw this song last year at his solo concert in Almaty, it's a heartbreaking, touching, crazy song.
Dimash has captivated people without difference in age, gender, language, first we are captivated by his voice and then that enchanted personality, his dears told him that he is "the best" but, he always says "there are many good singers in the world, I am still young". Dimash is exactly the same in every interview, He has said that he has been given so many gifts, his talent, his loving family, his country and needs to work hard to deserve them. He respects all people, old, young, every religion, every country. Watching the live he has for his grandparents, parents and sister and brother, he is always so sweet with them. He is such a darling, it's amazing how much his English has improved to the extent that he can now hold an interview without a translator. He's supposed to be spending a year in the US studying film directing in Los Angeles this autumn so his English will only carry on improving but we hope he never loses that beautiful accent and his cute way of occasionally getting his words wrong. I love that you picked an interview, he's a lot more philosophical when he's interviewed in Kazakh. I also hope he doesn't lose his " accent" which is just his way of talking really and his English is lovely, so I hope it does not change either. I am not sure being in the US will improve his English, it is so regional and different people here have different accents too. It might be difficult for him to differentiate when hearing other pronunciations of the same words.But I wish him good luck with all his endeavours.

Dimash also has given a lot of time and money to charities, from donating food to those in Kazakhstan during the pandemic to world health organizations. Always takes extra time to welcome and encourage children, and has tremendous patience with crowds of people greeting him at airports when he must be exhausted from travel, plus, of course, giving singing advice to young people.
One of the thing I love about him is that he loves his country very much😊I personally watched almost all his interviews, even though some are in Kazahk/Russian language which I do not understand but I still enjoy watching him speak😄You definitely need to check out Dimash latest work "The Story of One Sky"

This interview is pretty recent and took place in India. It's not his most revealing interview (as far as getting to know who he is) but it does give you a little glimpse into his personality. Yes you need to see the MV of The Story of One Sky it’s epic and a MASTERPIECE! And then go watch it in his concert in Astana that he put on a couple of months ago it’s on his UA-cam channel in part 3. His concerts are usually 3 to 4 hours long. Dimash is AWSOME in his concerts. He sings with his audience. Can you imagine 35,000 people singing with Dimash a Russian or Chinese,or English song? It’s great! Can’t wait to see you react to it. Thank you for your interest in Dimash❤️. He really is a very humble, respectful and incredibly kind person. He respects people regardless of their origin, religion or profession. And he's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. You may also want to watch videos, especially the ones from his time in China where he participated in The Singer competition are very funny and give a good insight into his friendly, respectful manner. There is also a video where he meets Jacky Chan. I've seen videos of him talking to fans on the train, or serenade them. How he comforts a fan when she hit her head. Or how he jumps up from his seat at the airport to make a seat available for an old woman. There are so many examples... That might sound like an exaggeration now, but I've already noticed that I've changed in some ways as well. Always watch his videos to the end. He usually thanks everyone who accompanied him musically, speaks to the audience or sings with them. He considers all people are equal, no matter what religion, age or profession someone has. He has often said in his concerts that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). He always says you shouldn't idealize him, that he's a completely normal guy who can be angry at times (can you believe that ;)?). The Story Of One Sky really is a masterpiece and it’s incredibly important to him but I don't know if this MV isn't too early. It's incredibly difficult to focus on his singing and at the same time on the content, the message of the video, which in this case is more important than his singing. One of them will probably suffer. So if you decide to react to the MV, be forewarned. If you are a very emotional person, take tissues with you. It is also helpful to read the description beforehand. Later please react to a few performances from The Singer competition. For example, the second performance after SOS was Opera 2. I recommend the video of Opera 2, where his father was in the audience. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed. I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. As far as I know, he lived in one house with the whole family, grandparents, parents and a sister and brother. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language and up until then he (almost) didn’t speak any English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 19 so I can imagine…) And after that performance he saw his dad. Indescribably beautiful and emotional. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that 🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. The Story of One Sky (the official music video--there are also live versions that are worth watching too) is a masterpiece--Dimash wrote the story, composed the music, sings and acts in it. The video (really it is a short movie) is so riveting his voice ALMOST takes a back seat to the imagery. But it all comes together in a heart-wrenching plea for peace among the many peoples, cultures and religions. It is a magnificent work of art--but don't go into it lightly. It just might break you.
Yes, be prepared for a very intense video. It's not a cheery sing-along. It is, however, a mind-blowing masterpiece. I did feel bad for one reactor with PTSD who had a difficult time getting through it. Props to him, he stuck it out and had only good things to say about it.

So very glad that you did this video of his interview. Also very pleased for you as u quoted a southerner which I am one also and proud to be. Born and raised in S.C. living in Florida as well. To me as a southerner we see people from what they are inside. We can tell who are foney and "blow smoke" to coin a phrase. Ever since my discovery of Dimash in 2017. I have loved and respected his abilities. He is a master of his craft. Not for fame but to bring his beliefs of peace and love for humanity to the world. No, he didn't spend 7 millions on it, it was just yellow press inventing those numbers out of nowhere. We have no idea how much he spent and it's not our business. After reacting to the music video believing there is no way he could ever sing this song live, then react to the live version at his concert in Almaty which took place the day before the release of the music video and be absolutely blown away! Dimash speaks English, and his vocabulary is still limited. This should evolve very quickly because he is currently in Los Angeles for studies in cinematography (he has just obtained a scholarship for 1 year). I prefer the interviews he did in his language or even in Russian, because he can develop his thoughts more. The Story of One Sky. A masterpiece of an MV, but if you dislike war films, it can be a bit hard to watch. Dimash's acting is so good though. UA-camr Lilasi made the ultimate guide to Dimash, which I do recommend watching. 1-12. A few are long, but a few are only 5 minutes. Also watch the song Daididau, he mentioned that when he was 15 it was being created as a song. The story is about a young man, who is imprisoned, learns (falsely) his wife has left him, and he wrote a poem lamenting his woes (Daididau is her nickname). Dimash didn't write the music, but he sings it so beautifully. Thanks for reacting to an interview, so rare are people who dive in.

Daididau from New York concert was one of the most moving performances ever. I had the chance to go to this concert and I am not sure there was a dry eye in the place. Dimash himself was fighting tears on stage. It was just incredible. The Story of One Sky MV is the place to start so you can see the story with subtitles. I did not even notice the way you said sky because I am from Texas so we have our own accent too! Wait until you meet his grandparents, his parents, brother and sister. Just beautiful people.

The Story of One Sky is pick of Dimash’s production. The video is hamongous and he san it in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the first ti e even better than in the video ( just impossible to believe). Maybe you should watch more Dimash, before that one. Just a historic musical master piece that has been recently nominated I’m teh Cristal Palace International Film Festival in London.
If you want to see where his voice came from, find the older video "Dearest Mother", where he sings with both his parents. You'll see the connection between his soprano vocalizations and his opera singing mother. The song was written by his father for Dimash's grandmother, who was in the audience.

He has birthday May 24.2023, he turns 29 then. But also a very busy young man. With a huge bright future ahead of him. This is just the beginning for him, being worldfamous, and able to travel all around the world. I recently saw a picture taken 2 days ago of Dimash at Santa Monica pier in US. But I`m also so exited..he won`t stay there for long, because his MV "The Story Of One Sky", is NOMINATED for an Award in England at the CPIFF: Chrystal Palace International Film Festival in London. It will be presented on 03.07.23, and the result will be announced on the 25th.
Dimash is a breath of fresh air, a rare gem, in the midst of a crowded entertainment industry. He is a young man with an old or mature soul; one who is wise beyond his years. He cares about doing the right thing in life and doing his best. In interviews Dimash has stated he is aware that success and adulation from fans will one day end. When that time comes, he will be in the audience and would be honored if people will say he behaved admirably and led a virtuous life.
There is a clip of an interview Dimash gave when he was about 11, as one of the precocious Kazakh pupils, where he talked about his dream of bringing honor to his country through his (future) hard work. How prescient!

Dimash has captivated people without difference in age, gender, language, first we are captivated by his voice and then that enchanted personality, his dears told him that he is "the best" but, he always says "there are many good singers in the world, I am still young". Dimash is exactly the same in every interview, He has said that he has been given so many gifts, his talent, his loving family, his country and needs to work hard to deserve them. He respects all people, old, young, every religion, every country. Watching the live he has for his grandparents, parents and sister and brother, he is always so sweet with them. I think that’s why we all love him soooo much. No alcohol, no drugs, no ego, no scandals.

What I love about Dimash is that he sounds exquisite at any range, which is incredible in and of itself. Also, his voice has so many colors and tone to it, not mentioning his vocal dynamics. His voice is soaring only to express his intense emotions, whether it’s a cry for help (SOS), a yearning (Samaltau), or to express pain or loss (The Story of One Sky). Dimash, being a composer himself (“Unforgettable Day”- Ұмытылмас күн, The Story of One Sky, El Amor en Ti…) knows how the song he interprets must be delivered.
Indeed, Dimash does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story. In short, he’s not only a masterful vocalist - It’s precisely thanks to his mastery that Dimash is able to freely dive, and tap, into his emotions; but also an amazing storyteller. Above all, he’s a soulful, genuine, passionate, and humble artist.

He is such a darling, it's amazing how much his English has improved to the extent that he can now hold an interview without a translator. He's supposed to be spending a year in the US studying film directing in Los Angeles this autumn so his English will only carry on improving but we hope he never loses that beautiful accent and his cute way of occasionally getting his words wrong.
I love that you picked an interview, he's a lot more philosophical when he's interviewed in Kazakh. I also hope he doesn't lose his " accent" which is just his way of talking really and his English is lovely, so I hope it does not change either. I am not sure being in the US will improve his English, it is so regional and different people here have different accents too. It might be difficult for him to differentiate when hearing other pronunciations of the same words.But I wish him good luck with all his endeavours.

Dimash also has given a lot of time and money to charities, from donating food to those in Kazakhstan during the pandemic to world health organizations. Always takes extra time to welcome and encourage children, and has tremendous patience with crowds of people greeting him at airports when he must be exhausted from travel, plus, of course, giving singing advice to young people.
One of the thing I love about him is that he loves his country very much😊I personally watched almost all his interviews, even though some are in Kazahk/Russian language which I do not understand but I still enjoy watching him speak😄You definitely need to check out Dimash latest work "The Story of One Sky"

This interview is pretty recent and took place in India. It's not his most revealing interview (as far as getting to know who he is) but it does give you a little glimpse into his personality. Yes you need to see the MV of The Story of One Sky it’s epic and a MASTERPIECE! And then go watch it in his concert in Astana that he put on a couple of months ago it’s on his UA-cam channel in part 3. His concerts are usually 3 to 4 hours long. Dimash is AWSOME in his concerts. He sings with his audience. Can you imagine 35,000 people singing with Dimash a Russian or Chinese,or English song? It’s great! Can’t wait to see you react to it. He really is a very humble, respectful and incredibly kind person. He respects people regardless of their origin, religion or profession. And he's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him.
You may also want to watch videos, especially the ones from his time in China where he participated in The Singer competition are very funny and give a good insight into his friendly, respectful manner. There is also a video where he meets Jacky Chan.
I've seen videos of him talking to fans on the train, or serenade them. How he comforts a fan when she hit her head. Or how he jumps up from his seat at the airport to make a seat available for an old woman. There are so many examples...
That might sound like an exaggeration now, but I've already noticed that I've changed in some ways as well. Always watch his videos to the end. He usually thanks everyone who accompanied him musically, speaks to the audience or sings with them.
He considers all people are equal, no matter what religion, age or profession someone has. He has often said in his concerts that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders).
He always says you shouldn't idealize him, that he's a completely normal guy who can be angry at times (can you believe that ;)?).
The Story Of One Sky really is a masterpiece and it’s incredibly important to him but I don't know if this MV isn't too early. It's incredibly difficult to focus on his singing and at the same time on the content, the message of the video, which in this case is more important than his singing. One of them will probably suffer.
So if you decide to react to the MV, be forewarned. If you are a very emotional person, take tissues with you. It is also helpful to read the description beforehand.
Later please react to a few performances from The Singer competition. For example, the second performance after SOS was Opera 2.
I recommend the video of Opera 2, where his father was in the audience. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed. I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. As far as I know, he lived in one house with the whole family, grandparents, parents and a sister and brother. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language and up until then he (almost) didn’t speak any English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 19 so I can imagine…) And after that performance he saw his dad. Indescribably beautiful and emotional.
During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that 🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰.

I think it's great because he still seems so innocent. Just a boy and he doesn't seem as serious as he does now and then. He still looks unconcerned. I think what's happening today is giving him a lot of trouble.

The Story of One Sky (the official music video--there are also live versions that are worth watching too) is a masterpiece--Dimash wrote the story, composed the music, sings and acts in it. The video (really it is a short movie) is so riveting his voice ALMOST takes a back seat to the imagery. But it all comes together in a heart-wrenching plea for peace among the many peoples, cultures and religions.
It is a magnificent work of art--but don't go into it lightly. It just might break you.
Yes, be prepared for a very intense video. It's not a cheery sing-along. It is, however, a mind-blowing masterpiece. I did feel bad for one reactor with PTSD who had a difficult time getting through it. Props to him, he stuck it out and had only good things to say about it.

So very glad that you did this video of his interview. Also very pleased for you as u quoted a southerner which I am one also and proud to be. Born and raised in S.C. living in Florida as well. To me as a southerner we see people from what they are inside. We can tell who are foney and "blow smoke" to coin a phrase. Ever since my discovery of Dimash in 2017. I have loved and respected his abilities. He is a master of his craft. Not for fame but to bring his beliefs of peace and love for humanity to the world. He loves people and he lives bring things to people to get them to understand how important they are to the world. Wasting of lives in war just for someone's greed it's so wrong. I'm like he says. I love people. No matter age gender religion whatever. We were taught from birth by my parents everyone is different on outside. But inside no one has color. We came from God. God doesn't make mistakes. It's how we're raised. A baby is innocent and brought up believing in the right way that determines their future. Dimash was taught respect for the living his country and mankind. He will be a role model for peace for me and hopefully he will become more and more recognisable in USA. Thank you for the reaction. It was time well spent. The story on one sky the movie is heart wrenching. I cried. Then he did this live. Try to check that one out also. It is amazing. When I first saw his Singer performances in 2017 I just had to research the original artists.. Then I watched a interview with his mother which told me more about his childhood.. Watching her face shine with love and respect for her eldest son touched my heart.. Svetlana radiates her emotions on her face.. The combination of the mini movie and Dimash vocalising reduces most new reactors to be speechless.. The movie contains symbols which lead to historical facts.. Dimash prepared The Story of One Sky for three years and spent $7 million on it, which is $2 million more than was spent on Michael Jackson's Thriller. Previously, the thriller ranked first in terms of the cost of producing one clip.
No, he didn't spend 7 millions on it, it was just yellow press inventing those numbers out of nowhere. We have no idea how much he spent and it's not our business. Dimash was talking about how this composition was precious to him, not how expensive it was. Please stop spreading this false info about costs.
If you react to the music video The Story of One Sky, remember to have a box of tissues close by! After reacting to the music video believing there is no way he could ever sing this song live, then react to the live version at his concert in Almaty which took place the day before the release of the music video and be absolutely blown away! I would suggest the music video first though for the full story of this amazing song, that Dimash composed. He also wrote the screenplay for the video and acted as the main character. He’s an amazing actor!

😘😘 thank you for your appreciation. Your outlook on Dimash is quite similar to many of us. Regarding the interview I would like to say one thing. Dimash speaks English, and his vocabulary is still limited. This should evolve very quickly because he is currently in Los Angeles for studies in cinematography (he has just obtained a scholarship for 1 year). I prefer the interviews he did in his language or even in Russian, because he can develop his thoughts more.
Regarding the creation "story of one sky", know that there is on his channel: a live (concert Almaty 27/09/2022, video part 3 from 27:10 to 39) and the MV. But beware, pictures can be tricky. Dimash likes symbols and metaphors but he knows how to cut to the chase.

Dimash s'exprime en anglais, et son vocabulaire est encore limité. Ce qui devrait évoluer très vite car il est actuellement à Los Angelès pour des études en cinématographie (il vient d'obtenir une bourse d'études pour 1 année). Je préfère les interviews qu'il a faites dans sa langue ou même en russe, car il peut davantage développer sa pensée.

The Story of One Sky. A masterpiece of an MV, but if you dislike war films, it can be a bit hard to watch. Dimash's acting is so good though. UA-camr Lilasi made the ultimate guide to Dimash, which I do recommend watching. 1-12. A few are long, but a few are only 5 minutes. Also watch the song Daididau, he mentioned that when he was 15 it was being created as a song. The story is about a young man, who is imprisoned, learns (falsely) his wife has left him, and he wrote a poem lamenting his woes (Daididau is her nickname). Dimash didn't write the music, but he sings it so beautifully. Thanks for reacting to an interview, so rare are people who dive in.

Daididau from New York concert was one of the most moving performances ever. I had the chance to go to this concert and I am not sure there was a dry eye in the place. Dimash himself was fighting tears on stage. It was just incredible. The Story of One Sky MV is the place to start so you can see the story with subtitles. I did not even notice the way you said sky because I am from Texas so we have our own accent too! Wait until you meet his grandparents, his parents, brother and sister. Just beautiful people.

The Story of One Sky is pick of Dimash’s production. The video is hamongous and he san it in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the first ti e even better than in the video ( just impossible to believe). Maybe you should watch more Dimash, before that one. Just a historic musical master piece that has been recently nominated I’m teh Cristal Palace International Film Festival in London.
If you want to see where his voice came from, find the older video "Dearest Mother", where he sings with both his parents. You'll see the connection between his soprano vocalizations and his opera singing mother. The song was written by his father for Dimash's grandmother, who was in the audience.
This was Dimash's first visit to India. His popularity in India just skyrocketed after this. He's just the best possible version of what a human should be! He's so loved! 💕💕💕
