@@NancyHole yess in English and i believe are on youtube but the chinese site "bilibili" has so many rare footage and performances from before 2017 that i havent seen anywhere else and trust me he's grew up listening to English singers and singing their songs he's even sung "what a wonderful world" and other English songs :) he's definitely prepared and has sung adagio as far back as 2015 and i believe hes been practicing them singer2017 songs before 2017 to because its a tv show afterall everything needs preparation which is why theres songs like late autumn being sung in a studio area when he had long hair (back in 2016) and his English being alot better than mandarin its not hard to believe he had much more time than a week to learn the lyrics since his English still needs improvements even after singing certain English songs since 2015 and still having very basic errors till this day but ofc thats fine but just using it as proof why he definitely would have needed preparation for not only this song but other songs to :) but yess it was English I'll find it for you if its still on youtube 😊

Well, he kept winning ! And winnng ! Summer is over and he's in China ! And out of clothes, He's worn every piece of stagewear he's ever owned twice, learning a new song every week, on international live tv, cant speak the language, all the family and friends are running all over Kazakhstan and overnighting outfits. He's 6'3 " remember, but he was working so hard !! Well...then..he wanted 3 each week for comparison. The interviewer said, what did you say ? She looked down into her lap, up straight into the camera, smiled sweetly and said No. God, that was funny. Mom put that foot down.

You know you can go back as much as you want, pause as much as you want, or even watch for a while without subtitles to get a sense of it one way.. then start it over with subtitles.. it’s an emotionally heavy & exquisitely beautiful, powerful performance about heartbreak (to put it mildly). Exception pour d'autres reprises comme "singfull passion" ou "Love" ou "love is like dream" ou "adagio".... mais "show must go on" est à part. Selon mon point de vue. Vous aimerez je pense une autre reprise de MJ qu'il a faite en duo avec un rappeur Victor Ma. C'est extraordinaire ! complètement original. Concernant cette reprise de Queen, vous voyez le public, qui sont les juges. Vous pouvez voir aussi par moments les autres concurrents, tous des chanteurs chinois confirmés. Nous avons pu les suivre pendant 3.5 mois. Franchement il y a parmi eux des personnes vraiment très talentueuses attachantes et sympathiques. Celui qui apparait en dernier, est un vrai poëte. Il dit à la dernière image quelquechose comme "rhoo", ce qui se traduit par "féroce" puis j'ai vu sur une autre vidéo qu'il disait en se levant : " maintenant je n'ai plus envie de chanter" ! ça m'a fendu le coeur. Dans le public à 2 reprises on peut voir le visage du père de Dimash. Je pense que vous pourriez apprécier "olympico" (création pour Dimash en 2019 je crois) mais aussi toutes ses chansons en kazakh qu'il a présenté dans son show virtuel de janvier 2021. This is baby 22 yr old Dimash on I'm a Singer 🥰 he didn't know English here but that note at the end kills me. If you want to feel the music I would suggest Ikanaide based on a sad true story, he released it recently and sings in Japanese it's stunning. The same song he sang on I'm a Singer is called Autumn Strong and has a back story on Gloria Wu's channel it has different lyrics and he sings it in Chinese. Or try Samaltau a Kazakh folk song, there's a few versions the latest is from his digital show Jan 2021 on his yt channel. So many to choose from. 🥰
Dimash always gives credit to everyone else. During interviews when asked about his success he first thanks God, his parents, grandparents, teachers and fans. When fans have worried about him staying up all night working on things etc, and expressed it to him, he has said, don't worry about how hard he works, just enjoy the result. He always acknowledges others first. I watched a video where a lady from New Zealand went to see him in concert in I believe China and then flew to Kazakhstan. She had been recovering from cancer and found his music and she felt it had helped to heal her. A very nice young woman from Kazakhstan aided her in her travels. There was some program, event in Kazakhstan where Dimash and his family were. He did not send people out into the hall way to find her, HE and his family went out to find her, he pushed her wheelchair into the auditorium and someone took over when fans mobbed him. Later, she was a guest in the family home. From what I can tell, he was taught from a very early age to be humble, to respectful and generous. One of the reasons I think so highly of him. That is a video I will always remember because you see the beauty of his family as well and trust me, they are very talented people as well.

Dimash does a great version; I mean he can sing the phone book and it will sound great, but I get what you are saying about "feeling" the song. I love Dimash, but this one doesn't hit me in the feels like some of his others. Great reaction from you both.
Every performance in this I am Singer competition only allowed a short time to learn and prepare the song; and to have so many good performances come out of it due to the time constraints of the show, is simply amazing. Especially since his English was not the best at this time; I can't help but wonder how much better he could do the song now. This is a hard competition, when you are told what your category of music is and find a song in short time to learn and do; others in this group were professionals and working in music, and it was not as difficult for them; but triple harder on DIMASH as he was just getting started; while most of the others were performing as a career for close to 20 years. Mind boggling to me.

Early days for Dimash, venturing English territory. Furthermore, this was for a competition show...hence he kept doing covers and he had little time to learn the lyrics, practice, make the arrangement, etc...! The war and peace is a piece of music he performs in his concerts and by that time his English had also improved and not just that, he understands it now which before he did not (he was not fluent in English at all back then). Should he decide to cover this song again, I'm sure he would be a fantastic production. Regardless, you guys seem in tune as a couple, and that is so great. Keep rocking!

She sang, as always, well, but my heart did not flinch. To sing the songs of the Queen, you need to have courage and self-confidence. Dimash did not copy or imitate Freddy. Dimash made his own personal version. I've been listening to Dimash for almost two years. One day I was met by a comment from a viewer who tried to explain why Dimash sang this song this way: - FIRST CUPLET means Freddie's childhood in India. There everything was quiet and tender, and the show was in dreams, in the distant future. Here Dimash sings softly and beautifully. - SECOND CUPLET marks the beginning of Freddy's career, the conquest of fame and popularity and, finally, the world fame came to him. Here Dimash sings in full voice. It surprises us with a change of several ranges. And makes it easy. - THE SONG means that Freddy tells everyone that if he leaves, "the show must go on". Dimash 'doesn't talk', Dimash shouts that "the show must go on!!!". And, of course, we hear the final D6 and fly into space. I think Freddie would have liked the way Dimash sang. @@NancyHole yess in English and i believe are on youtube but the chinese site "bilibili" has so many rare footage and performances from before 2017 that i havent seen anywhere else and trust me he's grew up listening to English singers and singing their songs he's even sung "what a wonderful world" and other English songs :) he's definitely prepared and has sung adagio as far back as 2015 and i believe hes been practicing them singer2017 songs before 2017 to because its a tv show afterall everything needs preparation which is why theres songs like late autumn being sung in a studio area when he had long hair (back in 2016) and his English being alot better than mandarin its not hard to believe he had much more time than a week to learn the lyrics since his English still needs improvements even after singing certain English songs since 2015 and still having very basic errors till this day but ofc thats fine but just using it as proof why he definitely would have needed preparation for not only this song but other songs to :) but yess it was English I'll find it for you if its still on youtube 😊

Well, he kept winning ! And winnng ! Summer is over and he's in China ! And out of clothes, He's worn every piece of stagewear he's ever owned twice, learning a new song every week, on international live tv, cant speak the language, all the family and friends are running all over Kazakhstan and overnighting outfits. He's 6'3 " remember, but he was working so hard !! Well...then..he wanted 3 each week for comparison. The interviewer said, what did you say ? She looked down into her lap, up straight into the camera, smiled sweetly and said No. God, that was funny. Mom put that foot down.

You know you can go back as much as you want, pause as much as you want, or even watch for a while without subtitles to get a sense of it one way.. then start it over with subtitles.. it’s an emotionally heavy & exquisitely beautiful, powerful performance about heartbreak (to put it mildly). Je suis d'accord. Dimash est mille fois meilleur quand il fait ses propres chansons. Exception pour d'autres reprises comme "singfull passion" ou "Love" ou "love is like dream" ou "adagio".... mais "show must go on" est à part. Selon mon point de vue.
Vous aimerez je pense une autre reprise de MJ qu'il a faite en duo avec un rappeur Victor Ma. C'est extraordinaire ! complètement original.
Concernant cette reprise de Queen, vous voyez le public, qui sont les juges. Vous pouvez voir aussi par moments les autres concurrents, tous des chanteurs chinois confirmés. Nous avons pu les suivre pendant 3.5 mois. Franchement il y a parmi eux des personnes vraiment très talentueuses attachantes et sympathiques. Celui qui apparait en dernier, est un vrai poëte. Il dit à la dernière image quelquechose comme "rhoo", ce qui se traduit par "féroce" puis j'ai vu sur une autre vidéo qu'il disait en se levant : " maintenant je n'ai plus envie de chanter" ! ça m'a fendu le coeur.
Dans le public à 2 reprises on peut voir le visage du père de Dimash.
Je pense que vous pourriez apprécier "olympico" (création pour Dimash en 2019 je crois) mais aussi toutes ses chansons en kazakh qu'il a présenté dans son show virtuel de janvier 2021.

This is baby 22 yr old Dimash on I'm a Singer 🥰 he didn't know English here but that note at the end kills me. If you want to feel the music I would suggest Ikanaide based on a sad true story, he released it recently and sings in Japanese it's stunning. The same song he sang on I'm a Singer is called Autumn Strong and has a back story on Gloria Wu's channel it has different lyrics and he sings it in Chinese. Or try Samaltau a Kazakh folk song, there's a few versions the latest is from his digital show Jan 2021 on his yt channel. So many to choose from. 🥰

Freddie Mercury wrote this right at the time he learned of his AIDS diagnosis. Very poignant and does Freddy justice, he is one of Dimash's idols.
Dimash always gives credit to everyone else. During interviews when asked about his success he first thanks God, his parents, grandparents, teachers and fans. When fans have worried about him staying up all night working on things etc, and expressed it to him, he has said, don't worry about how hard he works, just enjoy the result. He always acknowledges others first. I watched a video where a lady from New Zealand went to see him in concert in I believe China and then flew to Kazakhstan. She had been recovering from cancer and found his music and she felt it had helped to heal her. A very nice young woman from Kazakhstan aided her in her travels. There was some program, event in Kazakhstan where Dimash and his family were. He did not send people out into the hall way to find her, HE and his family went out to find her, he pushed her wheelchair into the auditorium and someone took over when fans mobbed him. Later, she was a guest in the family home. From what I can tell, he was taught from a very early age to be humble, to respectful and generous. One of the reasons I think so highly of him. That is a video I will always remember because you see the beauty of his family as well and trust me, they are very talented people as well.

Dimash does a great version; I mean he can sing the phone book and it will sound great, but I get what you are saying about "feeling" the song. Every performance in this I am Singer competition only allowed a short time to learn and prepare the song; and to have so many good performances come out of it due to the time constraints of the show, is simply amazing. Especially since his English was not the best at this time; I can't help but wonder how much better he could do the song now. This is a hard competition, when you are told what your category of music is and find a song in short time to learn and do; others in this group were professionals and working in music, and it was not as difficult for them; but triple harder on DIMASH as he was just getting started; while most of the others were performing as a career for close to 20 years. Mind boggling to me.

If you want to “feel his music “ listen to Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2021. He sings in perfect Japanese but you will absolutely not need the lyrics. It’s done in a studio because of Covid restrictions, but you will think you are not on this earth. 🎶🎶🎶🎶

Participants in the 'The Singer' competition had a week to learn and arrange the song that has been chosen for them. Dimash didn't speak a word of English at the time and only learned the lyrics phonetically. It was the 3rd song in the competition.

Rollen...Being honest is always best. Queen & Freddy Mercury left big shoes to fill. Dimash chose to sing this in that competition because he idolizes Freddy Mercury and he likes a challenge. You and Angie are such a cute and sweet couple. I love how you respect her. You all have a fan in me.

Early days for Dimash, venturing English territory. Furthermore, this was for a competition show...hence he kept doing covers and he had little time to learn the lyrics, practice, make the arrangement, etc...! The war and peace is a piece of music he performs in his concerts and by that time his English had also improved and not just that, he understands it now which before he did not (he was not fluent in English at all back then).
Should he decide to cover this song again, I'm sure he would be a fantastic production.
Regardless, you guys seem in tune as a couple, and that is so great. Keep rocking!

The great Freddie Mercury sang this song in a way that no one can sing. But some modern artists sing songs of the Queen. I heard a cover by Celine Dion. She sang, as always, well, but my heart did not flinch. To sing the songs of the Queen, you need to have courage and self-confidence. Dimash did not copy or imitate Freddy. Dimash made his own personal version. I've been listening to Dimash for almost two years. One day I was met by a comment from a viewer who tried to explain why Dimash sang this song this way: - FIRST CUPLET means Freddie's childhood in India. There everything was quiet and tender, and the show was in dreams, in the distant future. Here Dimash sings softly and beautifully. - SECOND CUPLET marks the beginning of Freddy's career, the conquest of fame and popularity and, finally, the world fame came to him. Here Dimash sings in full voice. It surprises us with a change of several ranges. And makes it easy. - THE SONG means that Freddy tells everyone that if he leaves, "the show must go on". Dimash 'doesn't talk', Dimash shouts that "the show must go on!!!". And, of course, we hear the final D6 and fly into space. I think Freddie would have liked the way Dimash sang. I think he would only be glad that his art didn't die, that different singers sing his songs. Thanks for the reaction.
