I think the most interesting things about Gargantua as a floor guardian, is that he’s the closest, if not the last one to match the original meaning of the term.
When you talk about floor guardian (or level guardian, or donjon guardian), you expect a boss, a monster, usually stronger than the goons, that blocks you way, that “guards” something. A glorified door, a test of your strength and worthiness. But in Yggdrasil, because of the heavily customable scripting, and the subsequent self-conscience in the new world, the term deviated from this original meaning to add an aspect of leadership and management. The fact that Ainz kept Gargantua in this position that doesn’t fit him anymore, is probably a testament to the faith he has in the golem strength. It can also be the result of some nostalgia, or ideal. I am myself a sucker for this kind of “characters”. Unchanging beings, dedicated only to one goal, unaltered by anything and waking up only to fulfill their one duty, until defeat or time turns them into dust. I find them tragic and poetic. Especially in the middle of “normal” people. Among countless NPCs, Gargentua is just another mindless monster, but in the new world, among all these sentient AIs, having only one such being gives him a particular aura of ancientness, strength, dedication and fatality. And I love it. Maybe Ainz loves it to.

hows the progress on gargantua vid?
"It's not that interesting."
In a guild full of all things demonic and overpowered, you can't just say that the second, third, first (I don't know) strongest being isn't interesting. I love the story of Overlord, but hot damn does the anime give up on world building in exchange for a lightning fast plot.
Can you do lore for the eminences of shadow
So granguta wasn't made by the sprime beings he was won by the guild and was gifted the floor guardian spot he can't think on his own but he is quite strong and has no weakness he however needs orders he is unable to think on his own so the 4th floor area guardians go to aniz . The 4th guardian has no independence it most be given orders some actually thought it was lucifer's but his stone goulms acutally have a brain and can attack by themselves you see this in the bath area shelater didn't have bathing manners and lucifer was pissed.
There is no weakness of garuatana so thats good nazzerick is safe
I’m ready for spoilers tell me how it ends AniNews!!!! 😭😭😭😭
you know I wouldnt mind watching you play elden ring
He can dance, he can sing
what is the other anime he was showing with the golems?
Can you do a video were you designed a character you’d make/use if your were in overlords (one designed for the game yydrisal and one designed to work better in the new world)
There is a short scene in this video, it literally consists of several frames, between 2.37 and 2.38. An elf sleeping. Anyone recognise the anime? Some insight would be much appreciated. Thanks guys. And gals.
