Curiosity caused me to look up Odney Manor on the internet and see what the manor was actually like. I was amazed by what I found. Odney is a village near Maidenhead, and it does actually have a manor, but the manor is called Lullebrook Manor not Odney Manor, so there is no such place as Odney Manor. Lullebrook Manor was apparently the model for Toad Hall in Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows." Are others aware of this?
This is oner of the heritage UK railways I've yet to travel on (though have been to Penzance by rail) so I can't wait to travel in 2021 after a long journey from Australia. Jake, a great video with the first scene having lovely light. GWR locos are splendid. We owe a lot around the world to IKB. I hope and especially pray to Our Lord that the pandemic will pass by the end of the year (even if a vaccine is not developed) and that your 217 wonderful tourist and heritage railways, the best in the world, will mostly be financially able to reopen in 2021. Difficult times!
@@westsomersetrailwaytv1212 Indeed. Because we live so far away, we're used to travelling and many will want to visit the UK 'when conditions permit.' I've extensively used BritRail passes on previous visits and found them great value, complemented by wonderful heritage railways, interesting accommodation and wonderful quaint pubs. If I could travel in two months' time, I would - and so would many others. But great to see in previous FY you made a reasonable surplus (before COVID-19).

We look forward to welcoming you in 2021. Meanwhile, can you help us by spreading the word about WSR-TV in the Antipodes? Many thanks.
