Welcome to Gahaha Ippatsu-Dou! Where you can find yourself getting frustrated with moments like: 8:33 - "Oh you cheating jerk! We *almost* got you!" 9:22 - "You're failing us over *ONE* drop of milk? No fair!" 10:19 - "Some of our inputs didn't even get registered!" *screams* 15:23 - "You're failing us over *ONE* mosquito? I see the pattern now. What a agony-inducing game." 22:07 - "Just a few seconds of holding on and we would have won, what a pain..." And (hopefully) you still have 25:12 regardless, because this game is humorous (in a way). Just try not to think too hard about this minigame in 19:59 .
My version: 18:11 - "Did you even press?! Our input didn't even get registered for that!" 19:39 - "You should've spin that joystick faster, dammit!" *external screaming* 20:53 - "You literally messed with the swing timing…"
‘Gachaga Champ ripoff’: “Well they (Gachaga Champ) don’t have a minigame where cows *milk* a cow, players put diapers on hyperactive babies, couples play ‘red light green light’ with *kissing* ,and most importantly of all, they don’t have a *roulette* that tells them how many spaces they move! But sure I’m a Gachaga Champ ripoff when you don’t get to pick your name in the beginning of this game.”
Yes, it is an analog stick. That was where I was having some difficulty, because I wasn't getting at first that you're supposed to hold the joystick out only partially for some of the positions. Even then, I don't think it's super easy to do that fast enough.
I can't believe that an Wario-ware style arcade game in the vein of Gag manga Biyori like this can even exist! Wonder if you and Mark will do Namco's "Panic Park: one day, then things will get REALLY wacky and crazy!
This reminds me of another namco(?) Game where you have two cyborgs running and shoving each other from alien invasions to off a giant cake, the arcade controls were also sticks, but as levers to push against the players controller.
With how chaotic and bishibashi-like this game is, you'd think they'd keep it in Japan for the sake of ragging on us,but oddly enough, they let us experience the game too. How odd,am I right?
The Ashura-X MAME website has some builds early. I believe it would also be possible to compile this yourself ahead of time, but I haven't tried that with any recent MAME versions.

I find it fascinating how companies were able to take the Bishi Bashi formula and run wild with it making crazy games like this
It’s like WarioWare but even more cursed
More like a Gachaga Champ ripoff

@Rurtle The Turtle This game is creepy actually
@Munneke Challenges WAIT WHERE THE BLOOD?
@Munneke Challenges OK WHERE DID YOU SEE
at first i thought it was just two 8-way joysticks, but evidently from the macho man mini game they’re some kind of analog stick.

@@arronmunroemaybe it’s easier to do on the actual machine, the eye joysticks look like they’re the size of your entire hand from images

Wow, this game's continue countdown speed is very fast compared to other games.
The iinner machinations of my mind are an enigma. (shows some spilled milk)
This is whst best describes of high Namco was at by making this game.
Developed by Metro
Similar to Konami's Bishi Bashi: Gachaga Champ.

Panic Park
The NAMCO counterpart of Bishi Bashi a.k.a Gahaha Ippatsu Dou
The fact than Namco can make a game like Point Blank 2 and then immediately release this is funny.

I can't give you any links to the game, but you can probably find it if you search for "gahaha.zip".
