Ultimate Butouden is genuinely one of the best looking DS games out there. The graphics are stunningly good for the DS, when upscaled you can mistake it for a 3DS game.
I also love SRW W. One of the best SRW games alongside Alpha Gaiden and Z.
That's right, it would just be more perfect if the DBZ:Kai Ultimate Butouden game didn't have to enter the scene when launching ultimate moves, which to me feels like a waste of time

Oh my god, i played the heck out of Jump Ultimate Stars when it came out, I played it competitively on GameFAQs 😂 Was some of the most fun online gaming ive ever had. I didnt know there was ever a fan translation, I've gotta check that out and finally be able to understand everything :D
I don't think you young cats fully understand how big of an impact Tales of Innocence and Soma Bringer getting fan translations was back when it first happened.

Still waiting for my Tales of Hearts fantranslation since I prefer the DS version musically more then the PSP version. Also because apparently it plays better and is more balanced then the PS Vita R Version.
Really happy you added partial translations to the list. I notice you missed the chocobo dungeons plus cid one since you had several of the mystery dungeon like games.
Thanks for understanding, and besides that, the reason I didn't include Chocobo Dungeons is because the game doesn't translate the story, it only translates: Item names, Jobs & Skills, Enemy Names, Menus & System Dialogues.

Its original was Final Fantasy Legends after all.
Except legends 3. That was actually played like final fantasy Mystic quest/usa with level and such. Saga 3 remake actually returned it to play like saga 2 though.
I recently finished the 7th dragon fanlation, its a bit slow with old rpg design sensibilities (lots of encounters, little guidance) but it's got a lot of game to it. As far as I know, a lot of the same team that made the first Etrian Odyssey made it, and its got good music! Just a bit of a slow burner. Still gotta try 7th Dragon 2020.
well, luckily cd romance provides a rom hack reducing 50% encounters for the 7th dragon nds

89% Fan Translated games on the DS are very fantastic.
One thing about Zoids Saga DS and Zoids Saga III: They never intend to translate the battle quote, people already asked them and they said there's no need to translate the quote. Some of us actually wish for full translation which include the battle dialogue

All the other picks are good, but I really have to question adding La luna splende, an incredibly basic platformer that doesn't even make good use of the Sailor Moon universe. Something like tengen toppa gurren laggann or soul eater: medusa's plot would have been much better.

There is, but it's only a demo version of the game.
What i got is that the fan translation can be really good but the game can suck.

2. maple story game mechanics is simple and fun. Yet the story is bad and slow. You'll often see the same npc the whole map. That's just plain bad.
2. Ore ga omae o mamoru: I will protect you has a very bad game mechanics, clunky attacks, not responsive because your attacks is slow as hell. The most hit sequence you do is 3, this is castlevania but in 3d and worst.
3. Nora to Toki no Koubou is one of the best rpg in this video, but sadly this game has day limit, it's similar to harvest moon. Your ending will be based on your progress. Grinding is literally pointless at this game.
BRO. There is a very much better patch for dragon ball kai ultimate butoden. Check it it's over on gba temp. How did you not notice it before posting this video😢😢😢. Anyways, if you want to edit this video or make an update to it, there is a much newer version in which everything is translated except the cutscenes, but other than that it is all translated, even the images. Check it out! And tell me what you think

@IbanBan27 No worries! Cd romance only posts roms, not patches. And it seems they haven't been keeping them up to date, as they don't even have the most translated version before the one on gbatemp. So just download the official rom and patch it with the latest patch from gba temp using rom patcher js. Enjoy!
