  • You can play now two game modes, "Minigame Selection" and "Story mode". The story is the same has the first game, so if you select that mode, you'll play the same game as the original but with the new minigames added.
The game has now 39 minigames with the new ones been a mix of 3D polygon and 2D spirtes. The game is still played with two analogue sticks. Control is unique and simple; players shake, tilt, rotate, hit sticks to play various mini games.
In this new game mode you play 5 stages and you pick 4 mini-games for each one. The difficulty of those minigames is random, even tho is pretty obvious than it will increases the better you do and viceversa decreases every minigame you fail. You still have 2 lifes.
After the fourth minigame you play a bonus game which gives you a chance to win a extra life, the difficulty of this stage will also increase the better you did in the previous stages, becoming even rigged when you are doing a great score.
At end of all stages, you play the same air hockey minigame versus the final boss, but this time there is a good ending, instead of the "looping / not-achieving anything" of the original game, even though this is weird one as well, it's definitely better.

What is this? Namco's version of Bishi Bashi or Warioware?

More like Namco's version of Sega's Puzzle and Action series.
