"Remain seated please. Permanecer sentados por favor!" On that old recording, they had the same voice actor do both the English and Spanish announcements, which sounds so much better, IMHO. IIRC, the old lady ghost making announcements in the old Tower of Terror just outside the elevators was also the same actress and same characterization for both languages, so never interfered with my suspension of disbelief.
@@lohphat Thanks for filling me in. Fantastic announcer voice, and I see he wasn't limited to that, having done Mickey, Scrooge McDuck, Goofy, and others in _A Magic Kingdom Yuletide Special_ at age 60!
Fabio Rodriguez not only did Spanish spells for haunted mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean but Paul frees did English for Haunted Mansion and Corey Burton for Pirates of the Caribbean
No offense to this voice actor, who has some nice pipes, but I cringe hard when the previously absent Spanish safety spiel abruptly "fills in" for the incomparable Paul Frees' "Ghost Host" in the Haunted Mansion. Having some random Spanish-speaking ghost have to interject for safety's sake just really breaks the illusion they so carefully constructed with all the narration that the Mansion is not a ride. For example, it's a "DOOM Buggy", dammit, not some generic "vehículo".
He should go to Disneyland and ride one of the rides and say the spiel to freak people out in line.
Oh my gosh he's speaking Spanish.
@@jameskreidler9443the guy's Hispanic, so what!
@@jameskreidler9443fr, homie forgets disneyland is in california lol

Should have said the Matterhorn one! It's one of my favorites Spanish announcement at Disneyland.
