Im so happy you guys decided to watch Coldplay x BTS my universe this song was all done during the pandemic and chris martin flew to Korea to record the song with them and the holographic images helped show the meaning of the song 💜 i purple you guys and Chris Martin mad a special dance break part at the end especially for BTS i love their friendship
This is an awesome song and so happy you are going to watch how the song was made and you can see the beginning of their friendship. It is so great to see two great groups come together and just encourage each other and have fun.

Chris came to Seoul for recording the song, but the MV was shot separately because this is a Covid-era production. Notice how the enemy space ship looks a bit like a virus cell?
Anyway, the story of this video is a continuation of Coldplay's "Milo Xyloto" storyline. Milo is an ex-Silencer who now fights for the rebels who want to bring music and color back to the world.
Yes! Coldplay has a storyline that started before any K-pop group created one. They were also the first group to have a stadium-wide light show produced by giving the crowd controllable lights. Unlike K-pop light sticks, Coldplay hands out lighted wristbands (Xylobands) free at the show which are then collected and recycled for the next show.

Glad you will watch the behind the scenes. I hope it is the one on BANGTAN TV channel where Chris flew to S. Korea during the pandemic to record the music. It's heart-warming. There is also a Bangtan Bomb showing BTS goofing around when they were recording their parts for the music video (green screen). I believe Chris/Coldplay were on an actual location in Spain if I remember correctly. Not sure if there is behind scenes for that (maybe?).
Beautiful story from the time Chris went to Korea and i also think that was the first time he met them, he only had 2 days to record with them due to covid restrictions. To the time they shot this mv. They have a documentary and some behind of the scenes of making the mv. Pretty cool actually.
Chris Martin did want to show respect to BTS even though he’s the sunbaenim. How did I live without Korean words before 2020? (Sunbae= elder in the same field)
This song brought all the ARMY of our universe together and made it to #1 on the Billboard 100. Both Coldplay and BTS make music that brings people and aliens together.😄

I have never seen the full video so it was good to watch it with you guys. I do like this song and then the spheres tour happened after this and Chris Martin wore the shirt that said "We are all Aliens somewhere" and that really tied this, The Astronaut, and the tour together. As always great reaction!

Forgot to mention J-Hope one of the members of BTS is coming out of the military in 28 days. So that means even more content will be coming. I'm sure Jin and J-Hope will be doing things to release until the rest of the members are done with their military service in 2025. Jin started doing things as soon as he was released. JIN CARRIED THE OLYMPIC TORCH THIS YEAR. There are doing so many things it's hard to keep up on all of it. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

There are few different remix versions of this song as well. I personally like Suga's Remix the best. :) I feel like you can hear the harmonies really well in it.

Also, this mv was made during the pandemic and I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard somewhere that the Silencers’ ship/Death Star was conceived to look like the COVID19 virus 🦠 itself.
