I suggest a video about different firewood splitting machines.I was thinking about purchasing the duel horizontal and vertical splitter .Great content,I really enjoy bush trail building and improving with a tractor.
i love your road building videos but i would learn so much more if you shared the logic of why you do what you do, i.e. water run off, ditch building and share the different attachments you are using and how to use them...keep up the videos!
You do work em hard that’s for sure. That power steering gets a workout when you’re steering with a loaded bucket not moving yet. My power steering is so smooth on mine but I have some play in there that needs adjusting. My manual shows 2 points of adjustment for tightening the steering back up.
back in 2007 i bought a new kioti DK55 and bought a blade like you have, that was one super heavyduty blade. i cut into hard shale with no problem with it. i sold the tractor a couple years later because those tractors had the fuel tanks underneath with a pipe joining them, problem is if you had a half a tank of fuel and got on a hillside the fuel ran to the low side and the engine starved of fuel. thats not good in the west virginia mountains
When cutting ditch are you in 4 wheel drive? I waz informed not to bein 4 wheel drive so as not to break equipment if i hit a big rock? Your helper did good vid camra work! Thankz 4 sharing.
Seems like the front wheels over pull the rears a bit. I bet they do this on purpose because it’s better than the rears pushing the fronts. It’s hard to get all equal when tire sizes are so much different.
This was much anticipated and worth the wait. The transformation was remarkable. Amazing what all you did with those tractors...especially pushing full buckets uphill with the Kubota M6060. Clayton is shaping up to be quite the top-hand - I'm impressed with the boy 👍🏻
@@khtractors Going to be building a home for our retirement, but not for about 7 years...meanwhile, will need to upkeep about 1/2 mile of driveway/road. Looking to buy my first tractor before long.

Watching re-runs this evening LOL. Great job, by the way. Not only do I want more content like this, I like digging and pushing dirt lol Was that a center crown or a slope towards the ditch? Nevermind you answered at about 30:00. Gosh, I want to dig. I need an excuse and a few dry days!
Election Day made one year since this job, it’s held up great! Probably one of my favorite jobs we’ve done in along time. I hope to get another good dirt moving job before long.
Hi, I'm looking at building a driveway to my home and have a Kioti RX7320. Would you recommend a 6 way front mounted dozer blade or a rear mounted 6 way blade?
Personally I’d recommend the setup I have, using the rear blade and loader bucket together. A 6 way front blade would be very costly. Something I think would be nice is a 4 in bucket, that way a person could use it as a blade and a bucket. Thanks for watching!
I have a land plane I built, very good for refinishing gravel driveways but limited in uses. If I had to pick it would be a rear blade any day! Thanks!
Your video really demonstrates the advantages of using a tilting back blade to cut a ditch beside a road.
It’s a very useful tool! One of my favorites! Thank you

@@jameshopkins365 I built a horizontal splitter with a 4 way wedge for my tractor, I love it. Difficult with big blocks though.
Yes I watched that video those were big firewood rounds.👍
Really enjoy your videos - I’m learning how to operate my tractor better on my property thanks to you 🤘🏻
Great to hear! Thanks
You and Clayton done a good job building the driveway I enjoy watching your videos
This was one of my favorite videos to make! Thanks
Awesome job!! Looks great!! Clayton done a wonderful job!!
This was one of my all time favorite jobs! Really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
love the videos. I finally was able to purchase some land and I need to learn how to maintain my driveway and ditches. its about 1600 ft long.
That’s alot of road to keep up! Thanks

I really like the blade, it’s a good one! I’ve seen that fuel tank setup on some Kubotas as well, doesn’t work good on hills. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. Watching while I’m working from home
Thanks!
Good times. Great approach to the problem, culverts a great idea.
This road has held up very well so far! Appreciate you watching!

Great I hope by doing these videos I can help people learn something they may not have known. Have a great day!

Totally needed to see this one... I gotta do the same thing with my dozer! Have to do this before we can move in! First project to do!
I’ll be looking forward to your video on it! Best of luck! Thanks for watching!

I use 4 wheel drive but you have to be ready to stop if you catch something solid. It is an easy way to damage the blade. Thanks for watching
An offset blade sure would be nice to work that lower bank eh! Think I’m gonna buy a small one for my TYM T25. THOUGHS?
We have an offset blade, I don’t use the offset much but it’s handy when you need it.
Seems like the front wheels over pull the rears a bit. I bet they do this on purpose because it’s better than the rears pushing the fronts. It’s hard to get all equal when tire sizes are so much different.
I think it’s because my rears are 28” wheels and some come with 30” and still run the same front tires.
Do you have a vid showing the blade on the front of the farm tractor?
No I haven’t used the front blade much since starting UA-cam but I use to use it a lot.
Es. Lo mejor de lo mejor que estoy mirando un buen video. Todo se puede cuando se quiere
Thank you very much!
That Kubota is a beast! I'm planning on starting my own business doing property maintenance. Been looking at the b2601.
It really is! Been a great tractor!

It gives people an idea of what they can do with tractors. I wouldn’t know what to do without Clayton’s help now days! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Nice work
Appreciate it! It’s been almost a year now and still in good shape!
I always had way too many rocks on my farm to use my Kubota box blade and grader blade to do any good. Looks like you are doing it right.
Rocks make it really difficult! This road has held up very well so far. Thanks for watching!
Amazing vid going to get a 68 hp kubota for my farm she’s gonna be a bulldozer for my lil drive way n tracks
I appreciate that! I hope you like your tractor, would it happen to be an M6800 your looking at?
Nice job!

hello, can you make a video how to build a front dozer blade for tractor like a front blade on your Ford tractor? Thanks
I just repurposed an old 3 point blade, making a good mount is the hard part. Thanks for watching
@@khtractors ok thanks
That turned out good!
Thanks Jacob! I was pleased with the outcome!
Enjoyed watching this -- recently bought some property in Bland County, and we're going to need some serious driveway maintenance.

what bucket is that? toothed?
Yeah, I made the tooth bar on it!
Tube at the lower end would be a nice improvement. Looks about 20 times better. The rock will be the coup de gras.
Thank you!
Pretty good teamwork who needs a dozer anyway when you got a Kabota with those big front tires

On the cranes nest video you sure did need a squeeze grapple so you wouldn't have moved so much topsoil around
Well it would be nice but I didn’t have one so it wasn’t an option.
Clayton is learning pretty good from his daddy!
Thank you! He’s a fine young man!

Do you go up there a lot when it's wet like that or just when you are haying and it's dry
