50th Birthday Retrospective - Age 44

This was the hardest year to talk about, because in 2016 I lost my husband to suicide. While it was a tragic loss and I still miss him dearly, it also was a turning point in my life in many ways. It's important to acknowledge that suicide happens and not to continue to allow the stigma of shame to cloud over the need to raise awareness.
