Mmh....I think this was more symbolic to the fact Obito rejects reality cause of its cruelty....but somehow you right....Kamui reflects some of Obito's mind.
And seconds before "I'm in hell" the woodstyle starts warping towards the moon. The moon turns red and woodstyle forms his mask.

One of the saddest parts in the series, wish we'd have gotten more episodes with the Great Wars being shown.

@@allipse8224 nope, none of these counters kamui, both flying raijin and limbos can't hit kamui user unless they are off guard. and if you want to argue catching people off guard = counter, then transform jutsu would also count as countering everything other than sensory ability, which is blantly wrong
amenotejikara was shown to be unable to cross dimensions while kamui can as sasuke can't link between kaguya dimensions despite being way stronger than obito and it took boruto sasuke to cross dimensions.

But with flying raijin, it isn't easy. But minato managed to counter it when he materialised to attack.

@@74z9 Late but its the Hashirama Cells. Doesn't mean it's a guaranteed Rinnegan if you do since even Sasuke only awakened one eye while Madara has both but only awakened when he was old.

i know this is old video but i have to say this because until now some people still got it wrong... obito's tobi mask is just mask, inspired from guruguru, not guruguru itself. obito just using guruguru as reference for his tobi's character and the rest is his acting, it's not guruguru nor him merging with guruguru.

Yeah a lot of censorship happened in this mainly at the end plus the anime for this episode since it's at night is a bit darker. I'd check out at least chapter 605 (maybe 604 too if you want to watch the full episode)

This was one of the best episodes ever: just imagine you have a second chance in life only to realize that you trapped inside a nightmare that turns in hell.
Since Obito's perspective this was just another war.....another tragedy and it resulted in the creepiest awakening of the most OP Mangekyo ever.

It's shocking and heartbreaking seeing Obito, this kid who was compassionate about helping people, become instantly consumed by rage and mercilessly slaughtering everyone around him.
Also, notice how the form of the wood-style surrounding the red moon represents the Tobi mask with the red Mangekyou, and the red moon is also symbolic of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
