No, i dont think that is exactly what it says. I think it says something like when 2 opposite forces work together then you can get true peace. Then Madara interpreted that to mean what you said.

I think that's because he hate the world more than he hate them. Remember what Tobirama said, that an Uchiha who knows love and have that love taken will replace that love with an even stronger hatred. So I think Obito simply replace his love for Rin with hatred to the shinobi world that make this situation (Rin's death) happened in the first place.
Well he was hiding in there in some of the time by controlling Yagura aka the 4th mizukage.

Crazy when you realize Obito had been playing 3 different characters this entire time. He may be a "fake Madara" but he is still insane both psychologically and in his skill level as a shinobi. So Akatsuki was controlled by nagato, which was controlled and manipulated by Obito , who was being controlled and manipulated by madara who was being controlled and manipulated by black zetsu, who was being controlled by kaguya, who did all this shit to fight the otsutsuki clan , how many pupetters were behind each other's back?
The next couple of filler episodes are really good.

People think that you could only awaken rinnegan if you fused indra's and ashura's chakra or gen (which was hashirama and madara)...
But i think its not like that. You could awaken rinnegan if you have Hagoromo's gen. The process could be vary.
But thats the end result, as long as you could have Rikudo's gen... rinnegan is yours.
Remember, why orochimaru really want sasuke's body?
Or when kabuto said, there is another way, other than obito's tsuki no me plan.

Obito wouldn't care about it because it was Rin's death that motivate him to create a "peaceful" new world of dreams. He ain't doing this only to revive rin but to also make his own version of peace.

-It was actually meant to rise an army of white Zetsu's so she can fight the other Ōtsutsuki members that were going to show up in the future so every person that was put into the infinite tsukoyomi dream would slowly turn into a white zetsu.
