They weren’t the real enemy. Muldano was. He would’ve killed Mark. Mark wanted witness protection before he would talk. Reggie and Mark needed to play this in his favour.
This has to be one of the dullest movies I’ve ever had the misfortune to sit through. Mark Sway is such an obnoxious little shit, I really wanted the mob to chop him up and feed him to an alligator. Which might have actually happened, except that the mob in this film are cartoon character villains. I just couldn’t take them seriously. The opening scene with Jerome Clifford was good though.

The storyline and plot needed Tommy Lee Jones and his staff to be outside of a jail throughout the length of the movie
