- The final part of our American trilogy and we look at what is possibly the most interesting new release from an American manufacturer; the Indian Scout. Looks, performance, quality; is there nothing wrong with it? Donovan finds out.
Another great vid as usual Gents, but please get rid of the annoying music while riding along. Music has its place, but not when in conversation or when listening to hear how a bike sounds.
wozza59 We agree completely. We have a new sound engineer and he's got a bit enthusiastic with his music library! He just needs to be taught our ways!
I enjoyed the music. Maybe I have bad tastes. :)
The music was great!
WHAT DID YOU SAY!! I CANT HERE YOU OVER THE LOUD MUSIC.
Fuck me, how beautliful is this bike! I absolutely adore it
By far the coolest review of the Scout I have seen...
Thanks!
This guy's a renegade. He's riding on the wrong side of the road like he owns it.
The best video of the Scout so far. Love the filming and the final Verdict. I’m buying one and this will be my first ever motorcycle! Never been in love for a 2 wheels machine other than bicycles but that changed when I saw the scout a couple of weeks ago. My only concern is the bike clearance since I’ll have it in mountain areas where twisties are the dish of the day.
It's a great bike
It will carve curves just fine. You can lean the 💩 outta it, no lie. I have a Triumph Street Triple, and I was surprised how well the Indian took curves
I don't really get the argue about what one rides. Often there's a war on between Harley riders and the rest. Not fair. I beleive we all have the best bike! That's why we bought it in the first place! So cheers, all you Harley, Indian, Victory, Ducati, BMW, KTM, Husqvarna, Moto Guzzi and Triumph riders! ...as long as it isn't japanese! ;-)
Honda makes the best motorcycles :) just saying... I even bought one
fackhad, yea the best ugly ass bikes.
incredible bike it's sounds even better with some of the aftermarket slip on exhaust tips. the only thing I wish it had was mid foot controls. I don't really care for those forward controls.
That bike looked mean as hell when you came over that rise.
The Indian Scout is a great bike. However, the major change I'd make to it (besides changing out the pegs and grips for Kuryakyn) would be to change out the pipes for something with some sound. The base Scout it TOO quiet. It's quieter than my Vulcan 900C.
Me gustaría poder probar una Indian... debe ser una pasada... No sé si será muy pesada o por el contrario ligera... En Valencia y en Alicante hay dos dealers ... BRAVO...
Epic crossed arms stance at the beginning of the video bro
Hi, great video. Can I ask what brand & model helmet you're wearing? It looks nice and light. Thanks man, and keep up the great work.
Such a beautiful bike.
I want one of those.
Thanks for review
Frank Zappa doing bike review
The bike is so pretty. I just wish they used a chain instead of a belt for aesthetics.
James Buckey I was relieved when I saw it had a belt. I think belt drives are the best of both worlds. Compared to chain and shaft driven.
Would like to have one and tour every corner of India
as a short sport ride, cornering should not scrape the pegs
This bike is my latest crush... dreaming day and night
That is at the top of USA bikes i love that bike excelent design
I think Polaris ought to go the straight 4 route, tell tell ya the truth. It was only made for two years when the original Indian Company made it.
Great reviewer. Love his energy
Uh, ok, so, a bike is more safe if it is LESS maneuverable?
I like your other videos, the Ducati Scrambler one was great, but that comment is absurd. One thing that causes a lot of accidents on cruiser style bikes is hard part going down and pivoting its wheels off of the ground when aggressively attempting to avoid something. Such as an animal in the road when you're already in a turn.
TheRamsberg The Scout is plenty maneuverable. If you lean with it and hit the pegs they just fold up. I tend to use a forward and in method of cornering which puts some extra wear and tear on the seat but I rarely get the pegs down, that method does let you hustle it through corners at a very brisk pace though. Nothing fixed on the bike will touch down anywhere near the advertised 31degree lean angle.
So ride slower. It's a cruiser. That's inherently safer.
Looks like a world war two Harley. That's ok if that's what you like.
This bike suits him far more than the Superbikes...
A speedo that only goes up to 120 kmh and the revs displayed in numbers, who's idea was that haha
IgWannA2 120 miles per hour....
IgWannA2 120mph (imperial mesurement system...)= 193 km/h
Very nice bike
i am going to the USA just to buy and ride indian across america east to west and north to south.
I cut my teeth on Harley's, I love how the 111 Indians ride and the Scout is a fantastic little bike. But I own a Victory XC.
I really want it.
badass bike.
is this the scout sixty or some other scout.. /
Polaris died in my country unfortunately :(
Faisal Almaiman That is unfortunate.. they are alive and well here in the U.S. hope the Indian MC remains solvent..I rode the Scout, Chief and Chieftain..very Nice ride and I am a long time Harley Davidson owner.
is this left hand drive country
How tall is this riding man?
v good bike
Can i drive this with 165cm height guys?
I love it
wish to own it. soo amazing
Every bit of alright geezer.
Where does a passenger sit?
Dimitry Raskolnikov an add on tandem seat is available on the scout.
+Dimitry Raskolnikov Damb sure not on my bike.
Merica
Have not driven the Scout yet but did ride the chief, was nice. Still prefer my Harley Night Train. Scout looks somewhat cheap. Looks like Chinese fit and finish on some parts. Frame is cheap.Do like the motors appearance, fenders not so much. Overpriced for what you get.
That's correct you can look at a Harley on this bike and go PhhFFFFFT C-YA. But why is a Brit doing this video?
greenmarine5 south african :)
かっこいいけど、高いです!
Horrible radiator uuuuuurghhhh
I'm
You're driving on the wrong side of the road!
lol
How do you dominate in motorcycle completion but go bankrupt?
sk8777kid1 Bad marketing and design decisions. I wonder what would have happened with Indian if George Hendee hadn't resigned in 1915.
unlike Harley Davidson, Indian dedicated over 90% of production to the war effort as well. Sadly it gave other bike manufacturers all the popularity back home and helped kill Indian
Elisha Comb
Delete the condescending remarks about Harley.
Worst bike uncomfortable riding not happy with it , don’t buy crap
Mate they updated the seats in the 2018 version
