Tecorsuh bro I have 2 doubts 1 is there a way to know what gender we get after breeding 2 what do you mean base stats ? does it include bonus level ? And how to know the base stats cuz I have leveled it up a lot ?

By the way, mutations are not assigned to inherited stats, they can occur on a stat that doesn't make the roll to offspring. Taking your example stats from 5:30, consider a food mutation on the mother's stat being determined before RNG determines that the offspring will inherit the father's food stat. Stat mutation and color mutations always happen together, but a stat mutation can be not visible because it occurred on a stat that didn't make the roll just as a color mutation can occur but be not visible in a static or unused color region on that particular dino.
There are so many things that are wrong with this tutorial. You shouldn't have made this until you actually know what your doing. You're misinforming a lot of people that watch you

What you're saying here does not line up with what I've seen as being currently accepted. The way I understand mutations is as follows: 1) The offspring has it's stats determined 2) A stat is randomly chosen for potential mutation 3) A parent is assigned to the potential mutation and checked for eligibility 4) If eligible, the roll for the mutation is performed 5) if successful mutation is added and color is changed 6) Steps 2-5 are repeated for a total of 3 times For this video I simplified it to: 1) The offspring has its stats determined 2) The parents are checked for eligibility 3) A stat can randomly mutate Here is the link where someone is talking about breeding and mutations from disassembled server code: www.reddit.com/r/playark/comments/6gsk84/breeding_and_mutation_probabilities_from/

Thank brother. I was wondering cuz I been trying to het it so I can breed an imprint my thylo an Rex's an allosaurus's an argys. I got a pair of argus with some mutations bt couldn't get the hundo imprinting percent. Thanks much. I'll set the settings an give it a try. Not trying to be desperate bt the days if spent trying to get this all right lol. Been playing it for 2yrs bt had ti restart or stuff glitched am just blahhhhh lol. Bt love the content you bring an I am subbing to your channel an thank you for replying to me.
You won't be able to imprint at all. This shouldn't be happening normally and means that you need to adjust the Baby Cuddle Interval Multiplier setting to be lower. It literally multiplies 8 hours, the default cuddle interval, by the number you enter into the setting. For example, 0.75 would be 6 hours, 0.5 would be 4 hours, 0.25 would be 2 hours, 0.125 would be 1 hour, 0.0625 would be 30 minutes, 0.03125 would be 15 minutes, and ect. You'll want to calibrate your Baby Cuddle Interval Multiplier to be lower than the fastest creatures to mature, the Dodo. The default time for a Dodo to mature is 15 hours 25 minutes. You'll take this time and divide it by your Baby Mature Speed, this will give you the time to mature in hours, and the target for your minimum needed cuddle interval. For example I use a 50x Mature Speed Multiplier. 15.4167 / 50 = 0.308334 * (60 minutes) = 18.5 = 18 minutes 30 seconds. So, I can match that up to 0.03125 for a 15 minute cuddle timer so I have at least 1 chance to increase imprinting for every creature.
@@Tecorsuh Whoa, did not expect a reply at all, on top of that, you were so fast and explained everything. Thank you a lot. Will look into the numbers of the server. Very nice videos overall btw!
For some reason when I hatch a baby dino it has a long timer for giving it care. When it wants are is when its done growing so I can't get the imprints in?
my care timer is ridiculously high is there a way to lower this in 2021? its staying at 13 hours no matter what i do trying to make my server not as much of a grind on breeding, also my egg hatch speed for some reason went from 4 minutes to 30
Does anyone have a resource that tells you what kinds of resources the infants will ask for? Dillos are easy to imprint but carbos are unexpectedly expensive.
Why is it that in every video I watch on dino eggs, no one ever addresses egg health. I have been getting eggs with different egg health ratings and I am trying to find out what is causing this to happen and how I can change or correct the issue. Anyone hve ny info on this??
Im a bit curious about that too. He did aay have it near by but i dont see how that will work to shorten the imprint timer. I know it works as u "train" the mana but hmm
I had a fundamental misunderstanding of how the Managarmr's training ability worked when I read about it, and neglected to actually test what I was saying because I was having trouble spawning one in while I was recording. I've edited this bit out of my video, but it's really too late for that.
Klumbo yeah done that already but when I start out it’s so annoying to have to gather resources to make a pen then you rarely use it again I’m just saying it would be WAY more easier if I could just enable mating
Well, this pisses me off. The whole idea in my mind to breed was to control chances of higher stats by ex breeding two Dino’s with high speed for a baby with a high base speed.
