I didn't expect him to cry and when he did I was already in love with the character. I hope we get to see more of him in the second part of the season because gregory sunshine himself (the man who made him lose control of his powers) is stepping into the picture and I need a trauma revival from him
Easily my favorite hero from Tiger & bunny is wild tiger himself. One of the things I think possibly and I understand time constraints are a thing, but talking of selflessness, in episode 7 the church is under attack and lunatic what's the church Ablaze koutetsu runs in head-first still to save the criminals because that's what Heroes do. It's also quite crushing to know that he doesn't save them and his Cry of Agony gets me everytime. Another instance of his heroism is in the second movie when he first catches the criminal, he instantly pushes the criminal out of the way as to not fall into all the rubble and debris as it could harm the criminal. I am a huge fan of tiger & bunny myself and I also agree in episode of golden Ryan would be amazing. Even as far as going off of design, if we go off the Japanese pronunciation of Ryan it comes out to be a lion which not only works well with his design as it has a main built into the helmet but also on top of it he has kind of a king of the jungle vibe.
Thanks for the insight on Kotetsu! He’s my favourite character and I agree with a lot of your points, he’s deceptively much more intelligent and observant than people realise, and has evidently grown from season 1 in season 2, becoming more patient and not as quick to jump into action. Traits that he’s learnt from Barnaby, and vice versa for Barnaby. I’m impatiently waiting for the next part of T&B2 and am very intrigued to see how K&B’s relationship will possibly grow even more and how Kotetsu wants to be a positive example to the other Heroes, as well as Kaede.
One thing that you can see about Tiger and Bunny's dynamic is the fact that when you think about it, Kotesu is the only one Bunny has left. He lost his parents, his aunt (Samatha), and even Maverick who he had respected. Some fan theories float around that Bunny has taken Kotetsu on as a fatherly figure. Also another way of showing how Bunny viewed Tiger was when he caught word of Tiger retiring. You could tell when he ranting about how he was better alone that he was still hurt by the fact he might be left behind again and that smile he had was the most forced as if he was trying to convince himself he was serious
@@a28521 it’s only theory, everyone sees dynamics different. For me, I see Kotetsu being Barnaby’s partner (as in a duo way) and mentor more than a fatherly figure, since they kinda treat each other more as equals.
I love so many of the heroes in this awesome anime, but yes, you got me, my very favourite is Kotetsu himself. He's really unique and relatable as a character, but his heroic qualities are so evident too, including the three you focussed on here (intelligence, determination, selflessness), but also courage, compassion, perseverance, fortitude, and a strong sense of justice. He always strives to do what's right even when it means he has to self-sacrifice. If I was a Hero in Tiger and Bunny I would try to be like Sky High but my personality is somehwat similar to Kotetsu but minus his sarcasm but I would have the luck of Rock Bison
