  • Short video on splicing 450 ohm windowline with an inexpensive readily available terminal block that should be in your tool box. I have also reached 1000 subscribers in no small part to you my subscribers but to the other youtube creators out there who have supported me along the way. Two channels of note :

Thank you. Don't leave home without a terminal strip in the tool box. They can save the proverbial bacon when resources are slim and the problems are fat. Thanks for watching !

    You are absolutely welcome.
It's funny I remember quite a while ago, asking about your channel name then mentioning "with a channel name like that you're going to be an epic Channel". Well you're well on your way. I also like to mention I love the organic growth of your Channel. There's no need to push it Forward fast, since the people who subscribed to you will subscribe for the Long Haul, not for the gimmicks.
    Keep up the great work

Thank you Julian I appreciate the support. I do really enjoy the grass roots channel growth as well. Helping new channels to grow is a big part of that. Thanks again for the support and for watching !

Can you bring 450 windowline in your shack to your tuner that has a 4:1 balun built in? I was told you should never bring ladder line in your shack, because of RF. Right now I have a 4:1 balun that converts to coax and bring in that way. I really like to get rid of that and bring i direct if I Could. Sorry this is all new to me...

What kind of tool did you use to strip the black plastic off to expose the two wires?

I used a leatherman tool in this video. Thanks for watching !
