Could be the craziest title of the 1920s..When it's nightime in Italy, it's Wednesday over here..Even accounting for recorded madness of the 20s this one takes some beating.
I was at primary school when Journey Into Space was broadcast. We listened excitedly to every episode, but I had completely forgotten about the use of this tune in a recollection scene in the plot of The Red Planet (1954-5). Thanks for the information. I have Victor Vorzanger's instrumental at ua-cam.com/video/YJRcAcanzLQ/v-deo.html and the Savoy Orpheans' Columbia issue at ua-cam.com/video/sl7RUNkrwDE/v-deo.html (Now did you know that Victor Vorzanger was father-in-law to Janet Webb, the big blouzy woman who used to walk on at the end of the Morecambe & Wise (earlier) shows on BBC?)

It's what we do.
Time zones... who needs 'em.
