- Today I'm very excited to be able to tour and show the 2022 A91-CF edition supra. This is a very rare car coming in at only 600 units produced and I've been looking forward to making this video for several months now. Although the 2021 A91 edition in blue is still my favorite. Can't wait to own one of these. I have owned 7 Toyotas throughout my lifetime and I am turning 28 soon. Hopefully, they come out with the targa top version.

FYI. regarding Supra rear logo, the S is a tribute to a turn at the Nuremberg ring. It is identical to the actual turn.

The "fake vents" were made to make it easier to install Aftermarket Exterior Parts!
true. i also don't even mind them, they add character to the design and they fit well. without them it'd look very watered-down. the closer they can stay to the original ft-1, the better!

Awesome car. However, that blue edition from 2021 was the best. Make the blue happen again on the next run.
The CF phantom is by far the best looking Supra to date…but I may be biased lol

Thanks for the review. I am considering purchasing one but remain on the fence. I currently have a 2022 BMW M340i but looking for something that has more “pop” in the looks department. Same engine as my BMW which is about as good as it gets.
Keep the m340i. Far more utility with practically the same performance. Supra might be slightly quicker off the line but probably not super noticeable
What kind of job i need to get a supra?
@@sinrespetopr6884 I guess that depends on if you can make the payments or want to actually afford it. Most people buying these are spending 30% of their take home pay.

Supra is way better looking. Way more fun
I have a black A91 edition not the CF.. I'm coming from a 750hp Mustang GT.. I like the Supra wish it was a little quicker it does handle great 👍.. great video though buddy

That phantom color is boss! Interior should be blacked out. If they made it in manual transmission, car would’ve been perfect.

I own a 2021 Toyota Supra 3.0 Premium (Not A91) and I noticed you said the infotainment screen isn't touchscreen. Is this a change they've made recently, as my own IS touchscreen, and the iDrive controls has a sensor as well, if you are using the maps and need to type something. IE you can use it like a smart watch and "draw" a letter in the middle of the wheel and the system will recognize the letter and you'll hear the letter spoken through your speakers. You also did not, or could not because it's another thing that's been changed, mention the HUD that appears on the windshield while the car is turned on. Best feature imo.
you like several others have corrected me that yes the screen is indeed a touchscreen. Also the heads up disay is something that this A91 doesn't have. It's available on 3.0 Premium models

Any way to get around the push gas cap? I don't want some kids be like, "is that a supra" then pour water down the hatch.
The Supra looks good, but I'm thinking that the IS 500 would be a better choice. The IS is the same price, bigger, better, and more horsepower.
Bigger does not equal better. It depends on your use case. Furthermore, you should understand this is a VERY light car and the roughly 400 WHP is a ton of torque. You feel it every time you push the pedal and it moves faster than their stated 3.9s 0-60. And you said it yourself, the supra looks good. In my opinion, it looks exotic. This car snaps necks in person like no other. An IS 500 is no eye candy.
@@xRedNationx yes you are right Supra is a very nice car, but it's just a toy. Yes a totally computer controlled car is faster, but nothing feels as good as a car with a standard transmission. I learned how to drive standard on a Ferrari, nothing is better than having complete and total control of a car. But after all the trouble I caused with my sport cars I decided to never own one ever again. I can't wait to see what the future brings us, so far we have a 2 door and a 4 door electric car that can run the quarter in less than ten. They can even run it faster without you in the car! So sad!

Please get that is500 so u can get gapped by the supra 😂 0 to 60 on that is 4.3, supra 3.9 or less, I've seen those get taken down by v6 Camaro with a cam job lol

This explains why there's only 600 of them made. The majority doesn't want an automatic Supra. A true sports car comes with manual transmission as standard.

Considering these are "special edition", Toyota really coudnt have find a more unique color for these special editions, e.g. A91 Refraction Blue? So dumb. I searched high and low for my A91 due to its unique color and how it looked.

Why don’t they just make the M version. Put out 545 HP……… the same engine in the X3 M Competition is pushing 500 HP. If they do, I’d gladly give them my money.

Weird that they're callin it A91 CF, it should be A90 CF, based on them the A91 is a limited edition by itself so for this thing to be called an A91 it should be either blue or black since these are the designated colors for the A91 ONLY and suddenly now they shove this up the line callin it A91? since its not with the limited A91 that were produced then this should have either its own name or A90 CF.. Not sure if I'm making sense here but this is how I see it! moreover its all touch ups n cosmetics. we need to see a 6speed, a Targa roof or at least a T-Top if they would cry over rigidity + the most important thing the fighter jet dashboard.. I guess this supra is dyin soon and I heard that theres a new one comin up in collab with mazda, not confirmed yet just rumors! imagine a 3JZ :D
A91 is referring to 6 port 2021+ Supra , a90 is only 2020 model , think of it as Audi b8 / b8.5.
@@bman1668 thats what they say now, at the time of releasing the A91, they said it’s exclusive and comes ONLY in 2 colors, the black n blue, got 2 stripes on the c pillar and seats are alcantara/leather with blue stiching, my frnd bought the blue one, as of now, they’re callin all 21+ A91’s like ud stated, dunno what they’re doin…

You are reviewing a Toyota supra! Not a BMW. However if you have to said BMW every 3 minutes then this car is not a Toyota just a re-bagdge BMW. Love Supras; I have all GEN except this generation until its a true Toyota.

You obviously haven’t driven one… if you had, you’d probably have a different opinion. And to compare it to a Hellcat is like comparing a sword to a sledgehammer ….Two completely different cars. The Supra is a better car in just about every way other than maybe on a prepped drag strip.
@@Mr_Gorillazzz I disagree and I have driven one, they are a basic over priced kids toy with out the fun aspect of mods! You need to dump an ass ton of money into this car from stock to get it to where it’s actually enjoyable and fun I’ve had 45 cars before the age of 32 and I can say I’ve had my share of fun modded vehicles of all types and I can honestly say that it’s worlds of difference when compared to a hellcat and even a scat pack charger, you can actually fit more than 2 people in it and still press that hazard button lol with a 4 door 4,385 LB family car! The fact it’s a Toyota is the only thing i can see being better than the dodge just simply the name Toyota! I can’t honestly agree with you to say it’s better in every aspect that would be a huge lie, not to say it’s not for others I’m just simply saying it’s a disappointment to buy a car stock for $63k and have a straight six with no mods done already and not a lot of power and the lack of styling! I’d have to dump $15k minimum into that car just to get it to where I’d like it (kind of) and that’s to start, you’re already at $78k right there for something that’s fun to drive and still not completely done yet! Not my bag, that’s all I’m saying but to each their own! Good day!

Toyota had involvement in creating the MK5 A90 Supra alongside with BMW; Chassis, Engine(B58/B48) , etc.
And the design was by Toyota. NOT BMW.
Toyota had no other better option , which the better option for them was to team up/collaborate with another Manufacturer (BMW) to create the new Supra and to share the COST of RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT to keep the final pricetag down(nothing new here since other manufacturers do the same thing by the way) .
Otherwise, the new Supra would had been higher in price than the C8 Mid-Engined Corvette!🤷
And the A80 MK4 Supra wasn't a decent seller when it was in dealerships throughout the 1990s to early 2000s.
