They actually have an excellent sense of dynamics and range (more than even most musicians do), going from a near whisper to a siren-like crescendo and then fading back to a low hush.
Modern Music like this, at it's heart, is the culmination of thousands of years of humans imitating the songs and music of nature, so it's quite fitting.

Many feel like that when listening to this song. And maybe we are going thru a JOURNEY and this song lightens and enlightens our lives. We are all part of that Journey together . Thru the Music
Wise decision to get "The Dark Side Of the Moon" - the concept album is one long song, the 7th. biggest selling album of all time, and it was in the Billboard album chart for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988. Cheers.
the 3th. biggest selling Album. 1. Thriller . 2. Back In Black 3. The Dark Side Of The Moon
@@moyesboy1 I was using a list on Wiki based on certified copies sold and it comes in 7th. at 24.4 million sales. What's your source?
@@psbarrow you are right,changed the last 10 years,sory,sometimes I´m a little bit stone age,Greetings from Germany
@@moyesboy1 No worries, looking at that list it should be number 1 anyway.
I get the same reaction he got everyTIME I hear this song!
Love pinkFloyd!
Like others have said, this album is all tied together. Find your favorite place to relax, put in your earbuds, and listen to the whole album non-stop. You WON'T regret it.
In MHO Wish you were here by Pink Floyd is the greatest concept album ever. Nick Mason, the drummer for Pink Floyd said in his autobiography Wish You Were Here is the only album he can listen to.
Enjoy Dark Side of the Moon! My favorite album of theirs. Masterpiece!
Love how it was so good you stuck around for two tunes! Definitely one of the albums that made me want to be a musician. The next tune "great gig in the sky" is one of the best vocal performances in the history of recording.
If you wanna go on a journey, put on your headphones, and listen to this album in its entirety, it’s actually designed to be heard that way. The song “The Great Gig In The Sky” is meant to be heard directly after this song.
Its always nice to see someone discover music for themselves. It kind of validates your feelings for it.
Nice to see that almost 50 years later its having the same effect on you as it did on me !
While I would never ever give up the decades I've spent listening to and living in PF's music, I have to say I'm jealous that you're discovering it as an adult. You have so much more living behind you at this stage of your life, this stuff HAS to rock your soul in ways I can't imagine that it could have had you been younger. I think that's pretty righteous. 😊💜💚💛✌️
Smoke some pot, lay on the floor and listen. The clock chimes hit you from every direction !
Lol , what’s funny is someone else suggested the same and I have to now , I love experiencing music that way also ,
@@abracadabra3033 floyd is best pot music boiiii but its also not less awesome if you are not under influence. its magic, genius in each way you are facing it. for ever and ever... go for ECHOES on the pompeii gig
@@dud0r lol , indeed i see that, i will
For sure, I just sais about the same thing!!
Yes Yes Yes, join the millions who have done this!!!
Better late than never brother, Pink Floyd are masters of making you use your brain and put life in perspective. Loved your reaction. Keep searching.
Dark side of the moon! My favorite album of all time.
I think I'm more into Animals, but it's a close race.
I been listening to this song for like 40 years and that intro still gives me the chills, never tire of it . Best song ever? I think so.
One of the best songs on Dark Side of the Moon imho! If you like being taken on a journey, please do a reaction to 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' (without the video!)!
I love Pink Floyd!! They seem to always take me away from the every day stresses of life. Just close my eyes and feel the music. Wow, what a band!! Your comment of “just feeling like I went on a journey”. That is dead on!! Great reaction!!
Haha, another band I'm glad you enjoy. You should check out ANIMALS, another one of their Legendary Lps.
The whole albums Spectacular but the song DOGS is one of my ALL TIME JAMS. Hopefully you'll get around to it. Until then KEEP ON ROCKING.
PEACE
Agreed on Dogs...
When he took a deep breath right after "Breathe" kicked in, you couldn't script that! Loved it man, I'm glad when people get floored by tracks like this.
That awesome guitar riff? David Gilmore, one of the most underrated yet incredibly talented guitarists ever! He communicates through his playing. His chords ARE the lyrics. Huge Floyd fan here.....my #1
The whole album dude! Take the next step, chill, listen front to back, and feel more! They'll blow you away even more!
That is my favorite Gilmour solo, just reaches right into your soul.
Agreed
Dark side of the moon. I love that you loved it. Please sit back and play the whole album from start to end.
Fam, you nailed it! “They mastered.....sound.”
Loved your reaction, such a great track. Dark Side of the Moon was really made to be listened to all the way through as one continuous piece, each song is great ofc but it's even better as a whole :)
I just noticed the cicadas were in time with the music.
They probably kept the video from being blocked too.
They actually have an excellent sense of dynamics and range (more than even most musicians do), going from a near whisper to a siren-like crescendo and then fading back to a low hush.
@@jimmorefield8159 Yes indeed!
I like it !!
Modern Music like this, at it's heart, is the culmination of thousands of years of humans imitating the songs and music of nature, so it's quite fitting.
I'm glad you listened to this, and thanks for posting this on my birthday! This is probably my all time favorite song of all time, or close. I'm older now, been through some shit. This song makes me cry every time I hear it now, because it's pure magic. The lyrics, everything. Again, I'm glad I got to watch you discover this song.
All that, and not an autotune in SIGHT. BEWARE THO...THIS MUSIC CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
been listen to Floyd since 1994, my birth year. Division Bell was the only thing that could get me to sleep. This song however is just incredible.
Please react to Shine on you crazy diamond in its entirety. You will be amazed.
Bruh. When you said the H~D line it had me. When I work on my bike in my shop I have Pink Floyd rolling on the stereo while doing my thing. Pink Floyd is to be listen to from start to finish as the album tells a story from the first song into the next until the last song. Salute 07
Feel like you went on a journey.....that's what Pink Floyd does :-)
great reaction, that whole album is mind bending! Great gig in the sky is a definite vibe.
Music is supposed to go in your ears and hit your heart.
Thats why everybody's taste in music is different.
It's wild how Pink Floyd can do it to so many totally different kinds of people.
True masters of their craft.
I watch a lot of reaction videos and this was the first time I saw you. You're my favorite by far. I love that you play the whole song through and comment during the song instead of stopping it to talk. It's like getting off your Harley in mid ride. It just breaks up the flow when people do that. Also, I can tell that you appreciate music as an art form like I do. I love that. Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands of all time. I've been listening to them since I was a teenager and I'm now in my 40s. If you think listening to Time was like a journey, wait until you listen to the entire album it's on from front to back. You're going to trip the F out! Dark Side of the Moon is an amazing work of art I will never get tired of. I can't wait to see what you think about it! 😄
once you hit fifty this song really starts to hit home.
Makes me feel it, every time...
"Pink Floyd has mastered sounds"
Brother, could not agree more.
You should try money if you haven't already. Off the same album
I'm 15 and I'm crying thinking about how in no time I will be looking back at now wishing I could go back in time and be here again. I just can't stop crying man, and I'm not one to cry!
The whole album is a journey...
A fantastic journey
every pink floyd album is totally different, but all of their music will take you on a different journey and has a way of making you reflect on your whole life, they also pride themselves on crisp clear sounds
Haven’t even listened yet...but I was waiting for this one. It kills...
Definitely by far my favorite reactor on UA-cam. I truly appreciate every song that I watch you break down your journey is a fun one to watch I’m glad I’m a part of it
