- today i wanted to share my set up of the sylvanian families house on the hill!
i was so lucky to find this set brand new in the box from ebay. this is such an iconic home with the classic green roof, 3 floors, and 9 rooms! i've wanted this house since i was younger but i was never able to find it in store so i'm so happy to finally have it in my collection!
it took me a little while to get all the furniture pieces for this home because i wanted everything to be perfect & i'm so happy with how this set up turned out! all of the furniture sets i used are featured in my last 2 hauls so definitely check those out if you wanna know where they were purchased!

I absolutely LOVE these little guys, when I was a kid I would spend ALL my parents money on them every birthday/christmas/children's day etc, I would ask for them everytime, I have them all till these days, I'm still a teenager but I love them and I feel so much comfort and serotonin setting up a house 😭😭💗💗💗

@@Isabellamvic its ok if you are embarrassed if people say you are to old for toys then they never had a childhood I’m a teenager as well and i play with calico critters and stuff like that too

Such a wonderful set up, all the rooms look so cosy and homely! I love how you decorated the kitchen and sun room especially 😍 I really like how much space there is in this house and how realistic it looks, the front porch is probably my favourite feature.

i wish they wouldn’t only focus on stacking buildings but also still make houses like this. i still like the newer ones but this house just looks so much cooler along with so many of the older sets. :(

one of my favorite things about calico critter buildings is the light switches that turn actual lights on.

I absolute still adore these guys😭 I used to have so many and I still have a few but I no longer have any of the houses or big sets but these were definitely a core memory in my childhood
Today I went to my friends house and she showed me her calico critters and they were adorable I became upsessed! I’m saving for these. Also that house look AMAZING

how lucky! i still have all of mine from when i was younger as well, but they’re in such bad shape! 😂 you definitely should set it up again, i had so much fun doing it 💓
@@bellasylvanian Aww. That just means they were very well loved when you were a kid! Mine are still in decent shape and have aged surprisingly well. I think my oldest set is the Renard fox family which dates back to 1995.

This is my first time seeing this cute house though, I didn't know this is available 💕😘 (perhaps not available in Australia). Thankyou for uploading. Oh my gosh I just saw this collectors item in eBay Japan for only 8 thousand yen! That is a miracle since people sell the house on the hill for 30-70 thousand yen!

I love the house! I just got a Red Hood Country house I think it’s called bc I forgot. And I just love setting it up but for the new it’s really helpful to have twisser! I’m getting twisser soon! Love the house layout and decor!!

I have that house too! I got it on ebay used but it was in great condition. I love the way you set it up. One question- what do you use to hang the pictures?
thank you so much! 💓 i usually just cut up command strips or thin mounting tape and it works pretty well! it doesn’t leave any damages or marks which is great.

In google there are wrong infos about sylvanian figures and furnitures....they are 1:17, exactly in the middle between the 1:22 of playmobil.....and the 1:12 of a classic dollhouse!
