The annual Secaucus Meadow Lands brush fire.
It’s been awhile since the last one!
What a cluster fuck. This was an example of what usually happens when you take a professional municipal fire department and send them to deal with brush fire. It is not something that they are normally trained for or are experienced at. Watch some videos of rural volunteer fire departments who deal with these types of fires one a regular basis. You will see a much different type of response and different way of dealing with the fire. These smaller volunteer departments normally have less quantity and lower quality equipment than these large urban municipal departments, but they know how to use proper training and tactics to get the maximum from what they have to get the same job done. Also your volunteer departments often tend to me more aggressive in their tactics to make up for the quantitative lack of equipment. Watch some videos on here and judge for yourself.
Fantastic footage. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🚒.
Thanks, you too!
Nice video, especially this rare occasion I mean how often do you get a large brush fire next to train tracks?
Sometimes, believe it or not the rail lines are the cause of many brush fires, not sure if that’s what happened here
