Amazing to see you at St Bees, the course I first learned to play golf on, some 60 odd years ago, where I was a member for over 30 years, and where I shot my only ever sub 70 round! I now play in County Durham and, although just short in age of OMP ( Legend and Hero ! ) like him I still retain my love and enthusiasm for this wonderful game. Great to see you highlighting the regional 9 hole courses, including Alnmouth Village and Silecroft in recent weeks, courses which are generally overlooked by the UA-cam media. Love your joy in all things golf, and your positive attitude in the face of adversity ( no, I don't mean Mr Barlow ) Keep up the great work and continue smiling

Great video. Give your camera men a huge thumbs up for the great job they and yourself do. So many you tube golf videos where they just haven’t got a clue how to film. The scenery is stunning. Wales is beautiful. Love these videos, and the places you expose. Not many golfers consider 9 hole courses. You have amazing courses in the UK. And as people say your positive attitude and demeanour is infectious.
Liam, I love settling in to watch one of your videos as my “moment of zen”. It starts with a scenic intro accompanied by some mellow music, and then I can sit back and enjoy a little sojourn to a course that I wouldn’t normally be able to visit. Thanks for this.

As a non golfer Liam who watches your channel the biggest compliment I can give you is I get the urge to take up golf every time I watch your channel and that’s purely down to you showing what golf has to offer, exercise, scenic views and spending time with friends all of which there isn’t enough of happening in the current climate. Got some great memories of playing golf with my dad as a young kid Liam - and hopefully I've given my kid the same lifelong memories for him to take through life. Seeing those young uns running round that green having fun was the highlight of that video buddy - love to see it. 👍

Lovely to hear you mention Norfolk, it's my home county. I've played Sheringham but not Royal Cromer yet. Those cliff top courses are great but make you blow out of your bum. Great video their loss St B gain.

It’s only 3,739 miles from my house the drive would wear me out. I love your trips, takes me back a few decades all good memories. Road closings, plant pot people and a beautiful golf club. Just a quick tip leave anything you still want (headcover, PW etc…) between the hole and your golf bag.
Liam you must of read my mind. I watched your video of the 9 hole course you played in Northumberland and immediately thought I should recommend you visit St Bees. I live in Hertfordshire but fortunately have family in Whitehaven so need no excuse to pack the clubs and pay a visit to this little gem of a course. Shame you couldn’t show the other holes though. You did it justice in the limited time you had though.

Great video, as ever, Liam - despite all the trouble you had before it. If that road closure was on Corney Fell (it looked similar), then it could have been worse: the night before our wedding in 2012, when driving up that way to the venue not far from St Bees late at night and behind schedule (thanks sat nav), I went over a bump and round a corner and heard a bang in the back. The top tier of the wedding cake I had in the boot had gone one better than the leaning tower of Pisa and fallen over and off. The Mondeo never recovered. Somehow still married though!

Liam get down to Cornwall and play Gillyflower Farm in Lostwithiel. I went with Mrs D last summer and what a hidden gem. Had a walk round on the Wednesday (I’d spotted it on Google Maps), then went back Thursday to play it. Had the course to myself at 4pm, in July.. £15.. you’ll thank me. Pop to Derby and we’ll play Pastures GC.. there’s two 9 holers for you!
Looked like you went over Corney Fell. That is a hell of a road that I have driven many times. Its like whacky races when the lads at Sellafield knock off and are going home. You can keep your Windermere's and Ambleside's the Western Lake District beats them hands down. Just stunning
