0:57 "Starring Michael Jordan and his superpowered balls"¨
That didn't sound right...
+1 for Goof Troop! One of my favorite SNES games!
Riiiiggggssssss!!!! :D
It's soooo good! Especially co-op!
That’s the very first game that I ever played. I was probably four years old. I instantly fell in love with it.
I spent so many hours playing that
Holy crap, that super extended "SNES drunk" intro had me rolling!
Goof Troop is Shinji Mikami's Directorial debut game btw.
So many days spent with my sister playing it during the summer
Good Troop will always have a special place in my heart.
Many fond afternoon and morning memories playing it with my father and brothers! :)
I remember going to pawn shops around 2002 and going through boxes of Nes and Snes games. Usually it was $4 each or 3 for $10. Yeah, there was a lot of "Dudes with Attitudes" and "Taboo", but out of the 150 to 300 games most pawn shops had, there was tons of good stuff. Now I wish I had just bought everything.
I have been binge watching this channel for days! Oh the memories and the intro leaves me waiting for the next! Love it!
Oh! Goof troop is mentioned!? Finally! Very underrated
Just when I didn't think you could go any farther with the intro, you finally did. I've been waiting for this.
it's wild how many games I forgot about until I watch your videos... my dad was always renting us games. I played so many titles back then. your videos make me think my childhood was actually way better than I may give it credit for sometimes. thanks man. this is more effective than therapy!
Hey I'm glad you are getting all these views! Loved your #3, Top gear is my favorite snes racing game!!! Keep up the good work!
Paperboy 2 is probably my third most played SNES game of my entire childhood life, and still to this day. Trailing behind only Mario World and Wild Guns. It's a really great game and under $10!
Yeah but Drunk isn’t a fan
That game is atrocious.
time for all these games to go up to $20 now.
As much as I love SNESDrunk, he's not really big enough to make large impacts on the market like that (heck, AVGN barely even did on that one time they did a let's play)
Sato and I'm thankful that he doesn't have an influence like that
@@theSato all i know is that A Nightmare on Elm Street for NES went shot up to a $50 dollar game after the AVGN did his video on it. That game was around $15 or $20 bucks before the AVGN.
I've been binge watching SnesDrunk. So good, keep it up.
So glad you mentioned top gear. It was one of my favorite games as a kid and I still play it quite often. The music is stellar!
I love your intros so much!! Thanks dude
I enjoyed the video! Keep it up!
Yo SNES drunk, great stuff! I'm starting up a monthly video game forum with the public library and the first month's topic is the SNES, so we'll be referencing your stuff frequently. So thank you!
Yay! Just picked up Good Troop today at my local used game shop thanks to your review. GREAT game and cheap too!!! Thanks, Drunk!
awesome vid man. Although I watched the entire vid, i appreciate that you also listed the games/times in the info area.
They aren't 10 anymore smh. You did this.
We rented Goof Troop back in the 90s because we didn't have anything to play and was super pleasantly surprised. My friends and I finished it in one sitting.
Great top 13. really enjoy binging this channel
Thanks for watching Robert
Great video, thanks Snes drunk, keep up the great work!!!
Yes!!! Another video of my favorite UA-camr.Time to start op my SNES and get drunk!
We need an updated version for games under $25 now! Lol
Good times with the goof troop and tiny toons games! I miss the ol' Friday night game rental roulette..
Good troop was one of my all time faves as a kid. still have my original boxed copy. I need to replay it soon.
Thanks monkey's uncle. (good video btw) I've been trying to get Goof Troop for under $20 in decent shape which doesn't appear to be an option. I know, it's 4 years after the video and retro has exploded.. Going to check into some of these other titles now.. :)
Great list man, they really are some less well know but still excellent ones games, I'm surprised! well done ;)
I came across your videos before, only just subbed though. Love that you still make videos, they are very good!
Thank you for watching, lots more to come
Adding Goof Troop to my wishlist! Already own Buster Busts Loose. Thanks!
Best intro of all the snes drunk intros!!!!
I recommend Spiderman and the X-Men in Arcades Revenge, Equinox, Vortex, and Troddlers.
Goof Troop is also notable for being the first game designed by Shinji Mikami (creator of Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and God Hand)
Awesome choice of games, I'm definitely going to have to pick up the Michael Jordon game haha
Awsome vid kudos on liking empire best
I remember some good times renting good troop with friends back in the day
And pilot wings is so good it was even an immediate purchase for me on 3ds vc right along side super metroid fzero smw it's a snes classic
And even kinda has a story twist super great game
I'd put E. Honda in the 'heavy' category with Zangief and Blanka in the 'wildcard' category with Dhalsim, but still a nice character breakdown B) and even though I've long since stopped collecting physical copies of games, these videos are quite entertaining to watch, it's interesting to see how the prices are fluctuating and what games that were usually cheap even back when I was a kid ended up being quality titles.
Goof Troop is a great game. very underrated.
Super underrated. I'm 23, and I grew up from 5-8 on this game, as well as DK Country, Megaman X, and etc. I have noticed though that Goof Troop is FINALLY getting recognition after all these years.
Top Gear and Goof Troop! Those were some great co-op games I used to play back in the day. Too bad I'm an adult now and don't live with my two brothers anymore. Nice list!
Nice list, and pretty good timing, I think SNES games are finally starting to stabilize a bit. Here's a few you could add to that list, but no hard feelings if they couldn't make the top 13:
Animaniacs
Rival Turf
Judge Dredd
Mortal Kombat 3
NBA Jam
Great video.
Great video!
I suggest Pittfall: the mayan adventure ✌
Good list, Goof Troop is a great couch co-op.
Top Gear was one of my first Snes titles on the SNES. I enjoyed the heck outta that game. One of my all time favorite Racers
I literally LOLed at “please feel free to call me a Monkey’s Uncle, that will make my day”
hey man, leaving this comment 49 secs into the video. I hope you mentioned Hagane, x3, wild guns, bronchie, earthbound and final fight guy ..... all great games on the super cheap! .....keep up the good work man, from a fellow loon
The bonus vid is going to include Pocky and Rocky 2, Aero Fighters and Metal Warriors
Haha I have a series called "Ten Great Games That Won't Break The Bank (long title, I know) and I mentioned Hyper Zone and Addams Family Values, there before... very fun games. I need that Windy City game, looks wacky but cool. How are the Star Wars games, still so damn cheap? Probably because there were MILLIONS of copies made haha. Pilotwings still holds up, as does F-Zero. Fucking GREAT video.
I might have to grab a copy of Top Gear after this. I loved Rad Racer on the NES and I didn't even know there was a racer so much like it on Super!
I wonder if the guys at Konami who made Buster Busts Loose were the same guys who left to make Treasure. Wouldn't surprise, since it feels like a Treasure game.
the f-zero car explosion as you take too much damage or fly off track...still haunts me. great game.
those some Great games man
just got all 3 SNES Star Wars games. Good but oh man tuff as nails. Griffey is great.
Pilotwings !!! That game was my drug it is still great today !
Goof Troop has somehow doubled in price now.
Goof Troop is sooo good. One of my favorites as well. :D
this video is going to make them all spike over $10
Nah
that michael jordan game actually does look like its worth checking out.
Snes drunk is my favorite youtuber
Top 3 channel for me. So entertaining. Probably my favorite retro gaming channel.
F-zero, sim city, pilotwings. From the beginning of the SNES are timeless classics.
When I think about it now has a console in history ever launched with a more impressive lineup in a launch window?
Top Gear is very famous here in brazil, there's even a mobile spiritual remake, made by brazilians, with a soundtrack made by the same guy who made the top gear soundtrack, the game is ''horizon chase'', available for Android and ios
Nice list! beat Under $10 snes game I've aquired, probably japanese smb all stars with box!
I would like to add the desert, jungle and urban strike are a trilogy really well done and addictive until you have ended all levels i really recommend it.
One of the most addictive trilogies on the snes and mega drive systems alike. very well done and addictive any of them. you get really hooked to finish the missions. really really really cheap some of best value for money in those 16 bit systems.
i actually really love the visuals of hyperzone lol
My brother and I would play Top Gear for hours on end. Still one of my favorite games.
I never thought that the count down guy would be Demonic Kermit. Sub
I don't know where you live... but up in Massachusetts. F zero and Star wars are all 25-30 dollars at game store here.
Tiny toons is one of the best games I've ever played, I'm glad I still have it.....ya know I just finished beatin the game two months ago
I remember in 2000, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III/VI were going for just over forty dollars for the SNES.
I bought Super Tennis (thanks to your suggestion) for 6 dollars at a mom and pop game store. It's hard as all hell, but it gives you a satisfying gradual sense of self improvement.
Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing for Genesis is my fave 16-bit boxing game.
Top Gear also has some phenomenal music.
I remember renting Top Gear as well and wondering.....ugh,......and being blown away by the music and gameplay (although those pits stops destroyed me quickly at my young age).
Chaos in the Windy City is an easy joke for a lot of people, and understandably so, but I'm glad to see somebody giving it the modicum of respect it deserves.
I love these
Best intro yet 😂😂😂
Troddlers is another good one!
In the original street fighter 2 Ken and Ryu are mirror characters, so you can't say, one is balance and one is speed.
Yup, that's me being stupid and letting Turbo leak into things. Whoops
>guile >balanced
lol sorry if i sound like a jerk but guile is stupidly OP in vanilla SF2. i just found that comment funny.
Goof troop is possibly my favorite co op game ever.
I need to see which games have changed or stayed in price over the years
Pitfall the Mayan Adventure. Most underrated game of all time.
I love how the tone of your voice, as well as the extremely brief descriptions of each game, barely hide the fact that the more "affordable" SNES games are just "Okay, at best" Lol
Used to beat Street Fighter... perfect on the hardest setting.
Can you do a list on the top 13 hardest games on the Sega Genesis
Love your stuff, been collecting for a while now but got my RPG loving co-worker all hyped up about collecting for SNES through your channel. Thanks for putting out your special brand of quality. Totally under appreciated.
2:22 I think the graphics are amazing
So many of your vids are masterpieces Snes. Do you have any other social media platforms? Like Instagram etc?
Thanks man, I will keep my eyes open.
I am always down for a run through Goof Troop with a buddy. It's either that or Contra for best SNES Co-Op. I guess there's always Secret of Mana, but that's way too long for a Co-Op game.
Say, have you done a video on Co-Op games yet?
And Goof Troop was one of my odd childhood finds that really surprised me. I remember being at FuncoLand with a budget of $15 and that was the only game I saw on the used shelf that stood out to me. They let me try it first to see if I liked it, and they even happened to have the manual for it. I still have the cart and manual sitting in a UGC on a shelf and play through it with friends and my fiancee every once in a while. It's one of those rare random finds that's totally worth keeping. And it's one of like two games that I've had all the way from a black & white VHF tv with the little antenna forks, all the way through coax, to composite, to s-video, and finally HDMI through scart. I've had it for every television generation lol
Didn't think I'd hear the phrase "Michael Jordan and his superpowered balls" this morning.
HyperZone is very basic but loads of fun!
That intro though
In Sweden, SNES games are quite pricy. Goof Troop (awesome game btw) is around 300-350 SEK (30-35Euro/35-40 dollars) - and that is cartridge only (PAL/SCN). NTSC/US cartridges is about half that price.
... and Empire Strikes Back is around 500-600 SEK (50-60 Euro/55-65 dollars) PAL/SCN... The greatest game collectors should be Norwegians buying American games...
Ok I saw Adams Family Values and I don't agree that it’s a good game, that game makes Dark Souls series look like a tutorial level, but not only because the game is hard, but because it is not FAIR, it has many flaws in its design, for example you need to grind for minutes just to recover 1 life point (if you get lucky you won't get hit while grinding), the attack range gets ridiculously short and does less damage when your life is low, some simple enemies take an eternity to kill, to save he game you need to travel a long distance since there is only 1 spot in the entire game to save it (if you are low in health you probably won't make it). In my opinion this could have been great game without those flaws, but due all that I was never able to beat it.
By the way nice choice with the Tiny Toons game, I loved that one as a kid, it's actually pretty good for being a game based on a TV show.
I remember playing the shit out of Goof Troop with my little sister. However, it's not a $10 game. I bought my copy for 15-20. Still worth it, tho. Quite underrated.
What type of display are you using on your tv for SNES games? Just curious.
Tiny Toons football level was the best in the whole game.
Tiny Toons was, is, and always will be awesome.
the pal starwars Games going between 20 -50 $ (€) in Germany...absolutely ridiculous :D
