Very helpful thanks but the knob to turn it is SO hard to do. Disappointing really as I have old lady hands and was hoping for something easier to adjust.
@@Zimpaz thats a fab idea! i was thinking about taking the basket off and just clearing all the moss away but with it emptying forwards it ruined my plan lol x
Managed to rake about 6 feet of grass before it died a death. A complete and total waste of money. Will not be buying another electric lawn rake. Keep your money in your pocket.
that looks a heap a shite look at the size of it looks like a toy and for the price of £85 quid its a waste a money DO NOT BUYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Electric lawn rakes are great.
I have had my Qualcast one for over 35 years, and still runs perfectly.
These are surprisingly good little machines, they take longer to do job but flip side is it doesnt rip out what good grass you do have.
Thank you for this, I was wondering how this works lol
What a brilliant tutorial, thank you, was struggling to put this together!
Hi! Did you lawn improve much after use?
Thank you for the demo, just perfect for me. I am buying one as soon as I finish my thanks. Alan

Easier if you turn it upside down so there is no weight on it? Unplugged of course
Does this cut your good grass too?
You never mention what setting you used.
2 I'm guessing.
I bought thus in the sale today 80 instead of 115 euro.
What setting did you have it set on, and was it Moss you were trying to remove?
If I remember rightly this video it was set the second from deepest and yes it was moss and dead grass being ripped up
They call it a scarifier but afaik it's a lawn raker ? It doesn't cut the soil?
It does when you set it on the lowest setting
i managed to get this in a sale from amazon, my garden is full of moss so constantly having to empty it! it is a fantastic tool though
Last time I used it I hooked a black bag over the basket and made it a bit easier to empty x

Well did it help???
I do it every year in the spring. Followed by a fertiliser and some seed on any bald patches. Looks great except when the kids hammer it!
@@Zimpaz know the feeling two dogs and 7 hens
You do the lawnmower huh, ???
Thanks for the video got one and used it today
Hi, what was results like
Much better than it was. Thicker grass means less room for weeds. I do this every spring as my garden is north facing so can get very mossy
Great review will give it a whirl.
Well, seems I got here a bit early.
First ;-)

Wow! Sounds like you should be returning it for a refund!
Mine is still going strong. Use it 2-3 times a year with no trouble!
