Got a little tie in here from my past. I worked for a man in Nashville for several years that had some ties to the music scene. He and little Jimmy were buddies. My boss put on a MASSIVE Christmas light display annually at his house. Those in the area may know who I'm talking about. He would also provide lights at Mr. Dickens home as well. Jerry Chestnut was a neighbor of his. Johnny Paycheck had a sort of working relationship with him as well
They must have moved Tammy Wynette from her original burial spot which was on her husband's (George Ritchie) land. He locked her grave up and wouldn't allow any of her daughters to visit her grave. I'm glad that she is no where near him now.
You missed several right next to Tammy Wynette. Like Jerry Reed, Liz Anderson, and Jim Ed Brown. Up on the hill you’ll find Webb pierce Marty Robbins and many others. But you could spend a whole day there.
Thanks for donating so they get get videos too you to view my dad was born in 1935 3 years before Jones n he'd be 70 years old in July he passed away in October 1995 they mark the stone in 1997 buried where Stevie ray Vaughn is by the veterans memorial in dallas tx I knew Huston long who ran around with em he was from Tennessee himself
U just missed the great Lynn Anderson who was right behind you.. What a singer she was... Her song.. I am alone.. is one of the best country songs ever recorded.
❤it was awsome l pray for all the sinbers who is with god we hope most of the singers i .ove may there souls and a,l the faitful thru the mercy of god rest in peace amen
Hello sir I absolutely love your videos I hope to be able to start supporting you very soon can I ask have you been to Gregg Allman grave yet I've searched your channel with no luck
@@BackRoads1 yeh I need to see who is all in there I seen Johnny Cash and his wife and there was so many more I wanted to see I’ll be back in May I’m hoping to spend more time
I went to the Mausoleum at the Spring Hill Cemetery once when I visited Nashville & I noticed the famous people's graves who were buried in the regular cemetery but I don't remember seeing any famous people interred in the mausoleum there at least back then.d
@@BackRoads1 that was one i tried to find but couldnt. I was limited on time and wanted to go see billy walkers grave in hendersonville. The map they give ya doesnt help much lol
@2:43 there was Lynn Anderson right behind you in the mausoleum. You might of mentioned it and I missed it. Thanks for sharing this video. I'd like to pay my respects in person someday. It's sad that so many of them have left us. 😪 I'm glad I did get to see George Jones twice in concert though and I've seen Little Jimmy Dixson at the Grand Ole Opry once. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to see Tammy Wynette in concert, but I wish I could have.
@@BackRoads1, yes sir I believe I've heard about that too. If I'm not mistaken I think he has a different name than Jerry Reed or at least that's what I've heard, but I can't remember what is. I'll keep watching. 😉😊👍
R.i.p George jones lovery grave stone that is so detailed as well nice pictures of him to on it love is music got a lot of it and dvds to of him neaver be forgotten good video upload ok 👍
When you were in the mausoleum near Little Jimmy Dickens, I believe right behind you was country singer Lynne Anderson. If that was the same Lynne Anderson.
The one right behind you.before you went to little Jimmy Dickens was Another country singer Lyn Anderson.i could be wrong if she passed but it did look like her tomb
The caskets are behind the name plates. Trust me when I say you can smell they are in there. They try their best to cover the smell but it is what it is.
Might be “important” by the worlds standards but not a one of them could hold a candle to my daddy. But Kenny does have them all beat on grave markers.
I really love this but I am not really feeling nancy being in his tombstone,, Because George jones died loving Tammy and that song represents tammy to say the truth .. Sad to say it just didn't set right in my heart nancy on there .. I respect that was his wife and such but it kinda makes the tombstone more for nancy than Mr George.. That's my opinion.
Thanks for sharing the great singers of country music will not be forgotten
I, and my parents and two of my sister's went to go see Tammy in concert one year. And at her concert we went to meet her back stage that night.
Very nice! Thanks for showing these to us as some of us will never get the chance to go there ourselves. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
I saw right before you arrived at Tammy Wynette crypt was Jerry Reed, his last name was Hubbard. I was glad to find his.
❤ This is what happens to all of us.
I love George Jones, he was my favorite singer
Mine too

This is one of your best videos. Not because of the people you went too visit but the happiness in your honoring them. Please take care and be safe.
Thank you.
You are welcome.

George Jones was a gifted singer who loves his fans and sang about his life of drinking and getting drunk. So he was called no snow Jones.
I love George Jones one of my favorites is Grand Tour
One of the most touching things i ever saw was Vince Gill and Patty Loveless singing "Go Rest High on that Mountain" for George Jones.
Oh Thank You for doing this. I grew up listening to all of them. Brought back Good Memories. I Loved them👍🙏❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Johnny Paycheck is buried very close to George. He owned the plot and paid for his burial if I remember correctly.
You do...
Yes George paid for Johnny funeral and Johnny is buried close by George
George and Tammy should have been put together. They truly loved one another
I agree 100%
I noticed Lynn Anderson's was right there in the corridor just a few feet away, across from Tammy Wynette and KT Oslins.
Thank You for showing this video. I loved it.
I really enjoyed the tour you took us on. I grew up on all the Legends you took us to pay respect too.

May he rest in peace! TYVM!
I was fortunate enough to see him in concert one time, when he came to Bluefield WV at the Brushfirk Armory.
As he walks by Billy Sherrill, but we can still see it in the video.
You missed Billy Sherrill he was huge in the Life‘s of Tammy Wynette and George Jones
Did you watch the George & Tammy miniseries on Showtime? It's so good. I can't help but wonder what George's widow (Nancy) thinks about it?
