I want to travel to Canada by Air India .I had try to book a ticket by calling them they said that we need a authority letter from Canadian embassy in india.Does anyone how to get this letter as we are in Mumbai and all embassy are closed here. I think they will ask us to fill a form about your destination where you will have to isolate. The place needs to have no contact with anyone else. Also they ask if you have enough funds to survive for isolation time. Some basic information. That’s all I know. I am not sure.

There are two options. One is Vande Bharat by Air India in which you can book direct flight as we did and you need not to register with Canadian Gvt. One other way is some special flights by Canadian gvt where you need to register with them.

Yeah you can arrive in canada if they let you board the flight, if you have a study permit or a visa and supporting documents canada will let you enter you just gotta isolate for 14 days when you land here
According to our research, there will be self isolation for 14 days if you have a room and separate washroom for yourself. If not, we need to consult government agencies.

Travellers without symptoms: mandatory quarantine If you have recently returned to Canada and you have no symptoms, you must quarantine (self-isolate) for 14 days. This is mandatory. You are at risk of developing symptoms and infecting others. You must quarantine (self-isolate) in a place where you will have no contact with vulnerable people, such as: people 65 years or older, or people with underlying medical conditions You will need to confirm you have a suitable place to isolate where you will have access to basic necessities, such as food and medication. You must wear a non-medical mask or face covering while traveling to the place you will quarantine (self-isolate).
I cancelled a ticket for my brother from Toronto via Qatar in March due to covid chaos I dint get my 90k back till now...yeah the international flights situation is in a very vague situation as of now causing a lot of headaches to psssengers
As of now, we didn’t get anything from Air India. This is a complex situation for all. Monetary loss, job loss, visa loss and so much of stress. We pray for better tomorrow for all.
We waited in May with the same thought of flights opening in June. Still no body is sure about them opening in July. We have already wasted a lot of time here.

Tracking citizens by enforcing the use of mobile tracking apps is totally against the freedom and constitutional rights.
