🙂I was there in that crowd somewhere...in the days when Glastonbury was still quite leftfield, under the media radar and nothing like the commercial pop behemoth it has become now !! ...seeing Orbital headlining the NME stage still one of the best gigs of my life ..defo in my top 5-6 ....how can this be 30 years ago ...where did that time go? .....does anyone remember the guy who climbed up the scaffold by the mixing desk and danced up there during the set....? what incredible care-free times....ps saw them again last week in Southampton doing the Green and Brown Album...and they are still bloody amazing !!! 🙂
I was there. My 1st and only glasto. Sneaked In on the thursday nite I think and got bumped with pills straight away. (17 Yes old) travelled from South Scotland. Orbital were the guys that I can say were my highlight. I had a tape of the set but gave to ma pal who chewed it up in his work van. Gutted. Can't find original full set anywhere... if u still ave can u pls upload or send me a copy. I wud pay. Seen them a rockness 2009 i think which was great but my 1st experience could never be topped...
