Man happy to see a good compliment from you! I really enjoy watching your videos also! Would love to do some sort of collaboration with you and your channel this year if time permits!
Thanks Mike! If you liked this one please check out the spartan sword video part 2 with the cut test! I think it is some of my better work! Thanks for watching man
Thanks a bunch man! I am just getting started here on youtube! Thanks for watching! Any particular video that you would like me to do? I am open to suggestions!
@@Aleeknives oh yeah, I'm feeling you there. My wife thought my timing was 180 degrees out when I was building my power hammer. I fussed and fretted over this damn thing for months. I probably could have bought a lesser machine for the same money. But it's about pride right? Look at what I built honey!!! Hey, that's great. Whatever dude.
The finish on this blade took hours to achieve and it is spoken for already! I will let the owner muck it up! I am forging the sword from the movie 300 right now so I will do a cut test for you with this one unless of course someone offers to pick it up before it's done. Times are tough all around the world right now, when money is on the table you do what's needed. stay safe and healthy my friend! Cheers
I hear you, buddy. I just didn't think it could've been sold already. You could, however, cut paper with it at least, or slice couple bottles. Not a biggie budz, you do amazing work anyway, I really enjoy your content. Can't wait to see 300's sword! Cheers amigo!
Unfortunately that one's gone already my friend! My nightstand to sell really fast. Sometimes before I even finish publishing a video! Thanks for watching
Nice vid dude. May you give some specs please? What are blade thickness at the back and before secondary Bevel (thickness before sharpening). Thanks!!!
Great video... I wouldnt have known what the hole is for either. If you dont mind me asking... what kind of grinder are you using? I am looking into getting a good one and interested to know what the good ones are
I am using a KMG from beaumont metal works for the vertical, an AMK for the horizontal and a homemade disc setup running the beaumont metal works 1 degree bevel 9 inch disc. There are a ton of good grinders on the market today! I would do some research into something that can switch between vertical and horizontal to save space. I do enjoy having 2 dedicated rigs though. Thanks for watching!
Yes I do, I sell every knife I make at a local gun shop! The Olathe Gun Shop in Kansas City. If you're interested feel free to give them a call and they'll let you know what they have in stock

Just discovered this sport today and subsequently found your channel. What a beautifully crafted piece of work well done 👍😎👍🇮🇪.
Thank you! It was a little blade heavy which made it hard to control after you strike
absolutely nuts
Love this stuff man!
Love your builds and the process. One thing I would love to see is how you sharpen your blades. keep up the good work!

Text Josh I'm actually building a larger tank right now to heat treat this new sword that I'm doing for the next video!

Good video..
Nice project
Thank you! It will chop nicely!
Awesome work there, Airin! 😉👍
🇬🇧🤜⚡️🤛🇺🇸
What do you mean by annealing the steel??
Annealing steel brings it back to a soft workable state before you harden it. It gives all your abrasives a break!
Wicked chopper man! I really dig the handle too. Thanks for explaining what was that hole meant for.
But dude, no test again?!

I want to buy
Nice vid dude.
May you give some specs please? What are blade thickness at the back and before secondary Bevel (thickness before sharpening).
Thanks!!!
Unfortunately I haven't had that bad boy in my hand for like 5 months. I will tell you it was a solid quarter inch thick
@@Aleeknives thanks guy. And usually how much do you leave before sharpening?
I leave it about the thickness of a dime before heat treat then down to half that for a chopper style knife. Then I make the secondary bevel
@@Aleeknives sorry i dont understand dîme...(i'am french)... May you explain? Thanks a lot for your answers!!!
